The building is rustic, but once you put your face in the cradle all that matters is the wonderful massage. I left a bad review for this business back in December for them not following through with appointment that I made. Obviously it made this VERY unprofessional and goofy owner very upset. He actually took the time to look my business ( in Texas) up and leave a bad review a month later. Which has been closed since Covid hit and when he has actually never stepped foot in this town in Texas. Swallow your pride David. You screwed up and admitted it over the phone. And you're damn lucky I don't have a screen shot of my appointment confirmation. People beware of who you're dealing with and spend your hard earned money with. Goofy people like this owner are who you see in the news one day. Just go on over to Google reviews and see how he responds to anyone that leaves a negative review. I booked an appointment for today at 0930. I used the online tool to book my appointment. I went through the entire process and received confirmation for my appointment. The website said that I will also be receiving a confirmation email later that day. I never received that email, so I called first thing this morning. I spoke with the owner and he informed me that it was never a confirmed appointment and that his staff was completely booked. When I booked my appointment only one appointment was taken for the day i booked. He did not care in the least that I was over booked and gave zero concern for what had happened. He flat out didn't care. I will never use this spa again for my wife or myself. Spend your money where it is appreciated. Thanks for the response. So I take it when you use the online booking tool and it confirms your appointment, that's false? How did I receive the confirmation, but it wasn't confirmed? If I didn't have an appointment set, how were you able to see it in your system when you looked it up this morning? Also, there was only one appointment taken for today. I booked mine at 0930. How is it possible that today got completely booked, but my appointment was over looked? Like I said, I booked it the day before at 1230. How did your entire day get booked when I lay one was showing booked on your website? Yes people, that's the owners response. Like I said earlier. Spend your money where it's appreciated. Very professional coming from a business owner. Anyone including yourself can read the entire review. I never once said that I didn't have a appointment. You're very lucky I didn't take a screenshot of the confirmation I received after using the online booking site. I can see that you're still losing sleep over the review I left. My niece and I are visiting from Austin. After 9 hours in the car, we were prime candidates for massage! Dr. David McMill did my massage and Stephanie did my niece's massage. David paid extra attention to areas that I asked him to and offered an excellent deep tissue massage. It was my niece's first massage and she was delighted! For her, it was the perfect introduction to body work. My niece has cerebral palsy and I noticed how much more easily she seemed to get about after she spent time with Stephanie. 07/26/2022 Tuesday 3:00pm. We tried to book less than 24 hours before we were going to be in town. I contacted them after hours and they responded quickly and advised us to call in Tuesday morning for a same day appointment. I called and they were able to accommodate us. We arrived and waited for a few minutes for our couples massage. My therapist was Crystal and his was Ember. The beds were comfortable and they were able to turn on the fan to reduce stuffiness in the room. Crystal explained how the massage would proceed and they both got to work. Here is the kicker.. I am a massage therapist and see an amazing massage therapist in my office for my massages. So I know a damn good massage. Crystal might even beat my massage therapist back home (sorry Scott). Sweet baby jezeus. She just about had me drooling, I was so relaxed. Normally I am too busy trying to figure out there tricks. Girl... I was too busy Zened out! Crystal I want to take you back to DFW with me! My husband raved about his massage with Ember too. We may have to go again before we leave town in 2 days! My only complaint I should have booked 90 minutes, but you take your chances sometimes. Thank you!! read more

Was really hoping for a facial, showed up and the man running it was rude, literally made me get off the couch in the waiting area and sit in a different chair, I was the only person there so not sure what that was about. I was a skeptic but saw reviews on google for Adobe Day Spa where Dr. McMinn practices. I left home this morning with a pinched nerve in my neck and as the day went on it got worse and worse. Not wanting to continue vacation in pain I went to this day spa. I arrived and there was no one there but Dr. McMinn and it didn't appear that he was in any condition to work. He was in the process of moving to a new office and he didn't have patients scheduled for the day. BUT - Not only did her give me an adjustment - but called in his massage therapist! Well I called Adobe weeks ago to ask questions, we arrived in Ruidoso and I called and made appointments for 2 massages and a facial, a couple hours later I received a call asking if the times could be changed due to one of the masseuses going to jail if a ticket wasn't paid today, then I received another call asking if the massages could be back to back instead of at the same time, then upon arriving there was 1 masseuse and 1 doctor, the doctor was going to do a massage and the facial.......we left of course...other businesses were sympathetic and said the doctor wasn't licensed to do a facial. Very enjoyable couples massage for the wife and I. The male therapist is also a chiropractor so this was a plus although we did not seek or receive adjustments, but I imagine could have if we asked. Both of us report good massages and was priced pretty good, given that the area is a resort town. I simply love Ruidoso and love this place. I was here on a golf trip and Dr McMinn saved my life, well he saved my golf game. I was playing a golf tourney at the IMG and my back went out. I was told of Dr McMinn by the pro at the golf course, it is just several minutes from IMG. Long story short, Dr McMinn adjusted my back (Chiro thing) then got the best massage, 2 hours, from Shawndra. The next day I played the best golf I have ever played. We just visited Ruidoso, NM on a small honeymoon and I yelp good places for massages and this place came up. I too was a little skeptic but boy is this a hidden treasure! I called and same day booked a couples massage. I believe the woman as named Melissa not sure but my husband said she gave a great massage. I remembered her vividly as we are both Bruno Mars fans (I was wearing Bruno t-shirt)!! Reason I gave a 4 not a 5 is that I felt doc who performed my massage had a bit of rough hands. But other then that it was great! The price for a couples massage is so worth the visit. Dr. David McMinn is an amazing chiropractor. I was vacationing in Ruidoso, in pain and in desperate need of an adjustment, before my long drive home. Dr. McMinn was able to see me on short notice. He is a friendly and skilled practitioner. His office is comfortable and inviting. In just the one visit, Dr. McMinn's adjustments to my back relieved the pain. My daughter is a chiropractor and was delighted to hear that a gracious, fellow chiropractor 9was able to give Mom immediate relief.
