I generally do not write reviews; however, we are extremely sad that our time with Alpha-Bits Learning Center is coming to an end. Our daughter absolutely flourished at the center near CMC and loved going to school each day. I was nervous leaving her on the first day at 6 weeks old. I sat in the parking lot and cried for nearly a half hour. I knew she would be ok because I immediately felt comfortable with her teachers (it was just a mama bear moment). She will soon be 6 and going off to first grade, I can almost guarantee there will be just as many tears shed on the last day as the first day! read more

My children have loved going to alpha-Bits on the west side, for the past 2 years. I went there when I was young and I knew I wanted my kids to come here too. One of the directors was my favorite teacher back then! The staff are great and most have been there a very long time. I wish they stayed open later but I was able to make it work with my schedule. read more

I've actually never looked for reviews for this place before going and now that I have I can't say I'm shocked to see these reviews. This place is a joke of an organization. They pretend that they care about your child when they really just care about themselves and their money. One of the reviews from 2017 says "The office staff believe they are doctors. They diagnose your children and not even a doctors note proving them wrong makes them back off." Which it's funny to report that they are still the same! They tell you to go to your doctor for some type of evaluation or diagnose and when we went back to tell them what the doctor said which essentially discredits what they are saying, they begin to discredit the doctor. AN ACTUAL DOCTOR OF MEDICINE! The current director Lisa, then began to imply that my child was the reason for her losing multiple teachers, which is absolutely appalling to say the least. I'm not saying that my child is an angel but to actually insinuate that he was the reason was just the last straw for me and drove me to write this review. They have some teachers there in the center that actually love what they do and love and do a terrific job with the children, but the overall place is full of kaka. I recommend everyone to stay away and do not be distracted by the affordability. Little children's development is too important especially at such a critical age that they are in daycare for anyone to waste their time at this place. The real review is (-500) stars not 1 star. This was my first daycare experience, and lets say it will be my LAST. The first week I put my THREE MONTH old baby in daycare, her whole entire formula can went missing which was the FIRST red flag. After that I saw the way they treated the babies--- super impatient and mean when they would get fussy. I saw one of the day care workers YELL at a baby for crying instead of comforting them. When you pick them up from daycare, they just hand you over the baby, they aren't friendly or nurturing with the infants. My daughter came home with her baby bag with her baby bottles and one of them was ANOTHER babys bottle with his name on it, clearly not my daughter's... hmm I'm wondering if my child drank from another babies bottle and had another babies milk?!?! ALSO, every single baby in the infants room was SICK. No one washed there hands between putting binkies in the mouth and feeding babies , everything is contaminated.. ONTOP of that, they abuse babies!!! My two boys went to Alpha-Bits for about 3 years. I truly do not like to post negative things on the web but our experience was horrible. The price is good for this daycare but you find out why when you attend. They close for every single holiday, including day after Thanksgiving, day after Christmas, and the day after New Years. They close for every drop of snow, even my friend that teaches had school on days when Alpha-Bits was closed. I understand closing for safety but with this place it honestly seemed like they closed to keep their overhead down whereas we pay regardless of how many days our kids attend. The staff turn-over is like nothing I have ever seen. They will literally hire anyone to take care of your children. The toys they give the kids to play with are so old and worn, and the facility feels more like a hospital then a school or daycare. They focus on sanitation which is not a bad thing but there is no warmth to the facility at all. My 3 year old son was injured multiple times and half of the time they couldn't explain what happened to him. The infant room is in the basement with no natural light. The office staff believe they are doctors. They diagnose your children and not even a doctors note proving them wrong makes them back off. Just honestly a terrible, terrible experience. We moved our boys in June and it was the best decision we have ever made. Our children are thriving at the new daycare. It is colorful, and bright and the staff, and owners are amazing.
