My dental implant surgeon (Dr. Palak) is superb: friendly, skillful and highly experienced (hundreds of implants -- not one or two here or there). He works fast, painlessly and is a good conversationalist. The practice is well organized,employing half a dozen dentists with impressive credentials. There is always someone available in an emergency with the skill to handle it, unlike what happens in many smaller practices. The office is attractive and immaculate. The office staff, hygienists snd dental assistants are professional, engaging, and seem happy to work for the practice. The X-ray and other dental equipment seems up to date and newer and more capable than that employed by most dental practices. The practice is a network provider for my dental insurer (MetLife Dental) and was able to get pricing and approval for my implant during my first appointment. The implant base was inserted that very day. Other practices had told me to expect to wait months for approval. The out of pocket pocket cost to me (secured by a detailed and well explained contract) was much less than what other dental practices had told me I should expect to pay. The negative reviews on this site do not in any way correspond with my experience to date with this practice, and are passing strange in light of the "Best of Bucks" awards this practice seems routinely to win from the Bucks County Courier Times. Waste of time and money. I want to give 0. The dentist Dr Patel did not even check my teeth. He only looked at xrays and that is it. Even though i told them that i want to come for cleaning and i have pain in my gum, they took 30 xrays and i was told i could not get cleaning done that day and i need seperate appointment. I have not been informed about this when i made the appointment. I still cannot understand how you go to dentist and say you have pain in your gum and he does not even look at your teeth and just do xrays. This i dont find ethical. Ive been fighting with them for 2 months, we are owed almost $1000 between 3 of us (we only got a $350 so far). The owner won't take any of my calls and the billing manager Lisa, is the worst. I went to have my tooth removed. They tried to upsell me in treatment I didnt need, and charge me $500 to extract a tooth v them referring me to a specialist (around the corner) who would pull it for no additional charge outside of insurance. Their staff is also rude, more so the accounting staff. They have open conversations on cost. Some people can't afford the treatment on the spot and it puts people in an uncomfortable situation while you're sitting in the dentist chair, for others to hear as it is an open space with multiple booths of DRs. As stated earlier this place is the worst of the worst I got a call from the Attorney General telling him about outright medical fraud that is going on here. He was aware of the situation about this place and I just threw my story in the ring and went back to the real dental excellence place I had for years. The only reason I went to this cesspool of a practice was my dental hygienist had to cancel her appointment due to a medical issue and I had to get my teeth cleaned. I got my teeth cleaned but they changed me $105.00 I refused to pay bc I was allotted 2 free clearing a year. They refused to clean my teeth without the money so I paid em and figured I get my money back from the bank. BYW this is 4 hours of the whole day they did this cat and mouse act. It was early November and my teeth were supposed to be cleaned in August by my regular dentist but the hygienist couldn't do it. Mostly the 4 hours prior to refusing to do the cleaning was spent billing the insurance co for needless X-rays. I went to the bank they couldn't do anything and said it's an insurance matter. I went to the insurance company they wrote me a letter claiming that I should NOT have been charged the $105 but they had no way of making the practice reimburse me and they refused to pay me . I feel lucky I only lost $105 one elderly lady was forced to take out a 20k loan and they were going to do all this work which was unnecessary and un-needed when she went to get the money back from them they offered her 19K that made the news and was a first attorney general issue. I never got called to testify or anything but told them I would. My insurance co at the time was Aetna. When I dropped them in January I got all warm and giggly like I used to do as a kid of 9 at Christmas. They protected the fraud and folks wonder why they hate health insurance companies so badly that a CEO of a different health insurance company gets gunned down in New York and folks are indifferent about it It's horrible for the CEO family but the conference the guy was there for continued business as usual.i hope this place gets shut down by the attorney general but who knows. Terribly managed money grab. They have no respect for patients' time and cancel appointments at their whim without notice. My husband once waited more than 45 minutes after checking in, to then find out they just "forgot about him". I once showed up for my cleaning to be told I had rescheduled the appointment to Christmas Eve, when I never spoke with anyone... in fact the woman behind the desk rudely told me she was the one who spoke with me and that I "wasn't very happy about it on the phone". This conversation never happened. I was stunned. Then a month or so later I showed up with my daughter for her cleaning to again be told "they left a message and rescheduled her" however they couldn't furnish any record of a call to me, and that's because there was no call. Then we were told they couldn't see her because the hygienist had "left because he had already seen his last patient for the day". Mind you, my daughter was scheduled for this appointment for 6 months. And if you cancel on them within 24 hours they charge you $100 per hour that the appointment would have taken. But they can cancel on you, with no notice, and just tell you they cancelled when you show up for the appointment. Worst dentist I have ever had, looking forward to finding a new dentist. Despite of having pain and swelling in right lower side of cheek, I visited Alpha Dental Excellence located at 240 Middletown Blvd, Suite 100,Langhorne, PA, 19047 for evaluation on 9/16/2022. After doing the initial documentation work, I was seen by Dr. Elizabeth Pullockaran. Xrays were taken. After the evaluation Dr. Elizabeth Pullockaran told me that Right Lower Wisdom tooth has to be removed. She explained me about the Nerve near lower wisdom tooth might get damaged and the effects of damages on this nerve. She explained me about all the procedures I need to follow after the removal of this tooth. She told that Dr. Arpan N. Patel who is the business owner of this facility is highly experienced dentist and he will perform the Right Lower Wisdom tooth extract. Then I was charged $280.80 for the codes D7210, D7953 plsu $11.23(4% surcharge for credit/debit cards). I paid $292.03 from my credit card ending in 8094. Not sure Why they asked me to pay upfront when I was lying down on the bed for wisdom tooth extract. Dr. Elizabeth Pullockaran administrated 3.4 cc lidocaine hcl 2%, 1:100000 EPI via IAN and long buccal block. Dr. Arpan N. Patel visited me around 12 PM on 9/16/2022. He started the procedures extracting my Right Lower Wisdom Tooth. He handled the tools like which surgeons use and used these tools vigorously on my Right Lower Wisdom Tooth. Tools are like sharpening clip, like Screw puller, like cutting blade. He tried to pull the tooth, he tried to dig the tooth, he tried to shake it. He has done these things for 30 minutes and asked me to take rest. I waited for 15 minutes and he came back again. He started doing the same procedures for another 15 minutes. While doing the procedure, he told me he do not want to give up on this tooth. He told me Wisdom tooth is very tightly attached to its bone and he is not able to shake it. While doing this , he told I might need to visit oral surgeon since the tooth is very tightly attached to its bone. After trying all these procedures for around 1 hour 30 minutes, I was taken for another Xray. After few minutes, Dr. Elizabeth Pullockaran came to me and said I need to visit oral surgeon to get this tooth removed. They contacted some oral surgeon nearby and oral surgeon is available only on Monday 9/19/2022. After I raised concern about the pain and why I was not told at the beginning to visit oral surgeon, she apologized. She prescribed Amoxicillin 500mg, Motrin 800 mg, Hydrocodone with Acetaminophen 7.5/325mg. I was refunded $280.80. Again After few minutes, Dr. Elizabeth Pullockaran came to me and said she found an surgeon nearby and oral surgeon is available same day. she asked me to visit the oral surgeon Dr.Lui at Yardley Oral Surgery Facility located at 606 Floral Vale Blvd, Yardley, PA, 19067. Dr. Elizabeth Pullockaran gave me a referral letter to oral surgeon Dr.Lui in which she wrote the below points. If you could kindly assist us in evaluating and treating the following, it would be much appreciated. 1. Please eval patient for extraction of #32. 2. We attempted the extraction earlier today, but the coronal portion of the tooth fractured off. We administrated 3.4 cc lidocaine hcl 2%, 1:100000 EPI via IAN and long buccal block. Please eval & treat. Thank you. I drove alone and visited Dr.Lui's office at Yardley Oral Surgery Facility located at 606 Floral Vale Blvd, Yardley, PA, 19067 with the referral letter provided by Dr. Elizabeth Pullockaran. After completing the initial documentation Dr.Lui's office, oral surgeon Dr.Lui took xray and evaluated me. He had these concerns. Why dentist did not attempt to send you to oral surgeon. Why he performed the tooth extract for more than 1 hour ? Why you went to their facility ? Who asked you to go there? Then Dr.Lui told me that Dr. Arpan N. Patel broken my wisdom tooth partially. The upper part was broken. I was not even told about this wisdom tooth damage when I was at Dr. Arpan N. Patel's facility. My health is totally screwed up now. I am going through unexplained pain and stress because of Dr. Arpan N. Patel's carelessness and poor evaluation. I should have been told at the beginning after he looked at the xray that I need to go to oral surgeon. Instead of referring me to oral surgeon at beginning level, Dr. Arpan N. Patel attempted to do oral surgeon's procedures while he is practicing only dentist. Dr. Arpan N. Patel damaged my gum, wisdom tooth badly and broken the upper part of wisdom tooth. Regular teeth cleaning on Monday April 5 2021. Signed in and was told it would be $75 charge. I questioned the charge and was told insurance has been tightening up and requires pictures for payment. I paid but didn't sit well. I questioned the hygienist and she stated since covid the practice has been doing this. Once I arrived home I called insurance who called the practice because it was fraud. Insurance stated the dental practice charged for 2d pictures for orthodontic? WARNING !! I made an appointment for x-rays only. They told me over the phone they would have to charge me a $19 new patient fee. I reluctantly said ok and I said again that I wanted x-rays only, The woman on the phone said ok no problem. When i got there for my appointment the woman at the front desk insisted i needed a full exam which my insurance would not cover because i had one recently. I would have never paid the $19 if they told me this up front on the phone so i asked for the $19 to be refunded since i didn't want to pay out of pocket for the exam. NEVER GOING BACK. Months ago I had my first visit to Alpha dental and was told I would need a two-part deep cleaning. I have since completed part one and paid over $200 out of pocket for it. I had my second appointment today. So I left work early, drove 45 minutes to the office and was told when I arrived that my appointment was CANCELLED because I did not answer the phone yesterday morning when they called to confirm. I got ONE call and a voicemail during my work day (could not answer because I was at work) saying they were "calling to confirm my appointment and if you could call back at your earliest convenience". August 15, 2019, Consult & x-rays - Dr A Patel was great along w the rest of his phoney staff ( they don't remember u when u come back) However, I went in under the Cosmeticdentalgrants.org Who with little effort awarded me $10.000. None of my consult included implants, btw, but total bill was $25,000. I was eventually pounced in by Cheryl who said they use very lenient creditors for financing, I inquired about Care Credit but she said they don't use them. Although, I've borrowed from them long ago with no issues. Well, my scores are in the mid to high 600's , however she said I wasn't given the money. With that, there was very little input and she told me to figure a way to "borrow it". ( she mentioned she tried three credit companies, LIE) - (they do use care credit btw, LIE 2) I found out that weekend I have Dental PPO insurance with great coverage along with Medicare and emailed info to Cheryl who didn't respond, I called her several times , no response, however, Joann in Insurance did verify my PPO and said the are out of Network, so I would pay and get reimbursed. Last Thursday, I phoned Cheryl again then her manager, Monique and also asked for Marie but, 3 days later - received no return calls. So, I went in today to have my $50 returned to me that I was told by Petra " will go towards treatment" and was told I "need to go to the Grant people for reimbursement!" I said I'd like my xrays and was told they" won't release those either!" I phoned the grant people and they said "it's non refundable". Wth... I have insurance, even if he is out of network, I have the $ money to prepay what the plan won't cover, and I am ignored! Cowardly women!!! This is the kind of dental office that makes it hard to trust dentists. My grandmother has spent so much time and thousands of dollars for dentures that were not only uncomfortable but broke after a short amount of time. They cost an astronomical amount of money and now she is missing her entire set of top teeth. She has trouble eating and has been put through a lot of physical pain because of this experience. I personally have also been fooled into paying a few hundred dollars for a night guard that I've had for a few months and is already falling apart. I am not surprised by the other bad reviews. No there is no way to screw some point the screw came out I don't know when I couldn't find it but it was no longer in my mouth I went back ask him to put it in they refused So they re-packed it and sent it to the place where they make them they didn't change it they use the same key and it cracked on the other side back to top tight againThis was the reason that the final time I went there to get it fixed and intelligent dentist said they didn't need another screw to stabilize it so they gave me a paper with an amount of $1400 which did not include putting in the fourth screw but just making a new set of teeth and a service that I would call more of a loanshark service that doesn't even show percentages which would've doubled the price to $2400 and I add that to the $25,000 and we still don't know if it would've worked stay away I am telling you go to Yelp and look at the reviews for three years Posted for this place you will not see one good review the average one and ahalf starts with one is the lowest find another place there is one in Abington that is fair and helpful and caring and it's not as big and elaborate it's smaller and better they would've charged me half the price and the interest rates would've been virtually nothing read more

The first visit I met with Dr. Patel who spent considerable time with me going over treatments. He was not pushy and seemed sincere and knowledgeable. WOW! What a cool high tech office. Cleanest office I've ever been in. Staff was super friendly including Dr. Patel. Problem #1 is they have no respect for your time. Waited over 2 hours just for the free consultation. Walked in at 1:30 left at 4:20. Problem #2 unless you have unlimited income or a bag full of money, going to a high rent office location in Oxford Valley could be financially challenging. Also expect to be turned over to another dentist. I honestly thought Dr. PateI was the real dentist. To pay top dollar for supposedly a top notch dentist and be turned over to someone else, I considered an insult. But I kept my cool. I read every review posted concerning this office. Hard to believe with a waiting room full of people, the work is so shoddy. However, at this point and time in my life, I'm not willing to risk a $15,000 loan obligation with so many complaints against one practice. And the last thing, I asked for a detailed proposal of exactly what I was getting for that bundle of cash. "Sorry we don't give that out". Really now! You are not going to back up in writing what you are telling me what I'm getting for what I'm paying for? I think not. The reason for the 3 stars is simple.
