This is the most welcoming office I've ever been to, I cannot understand the 3.5 star review posted on here?? In my personal opinion it's 5.0 stars rating minimum!! You are greeted politely on arrival , and seated in a comfortable waiting room as your information is prepared for the doctor. You are then led to a very clean and comfortable treatment room. The care from Dr. Patel is absolutely first class, the exam, the treatment are very gentle and thorough , discussing your condition and treatment options in easy to understand detail, they do not rush you through in this office. Dr. Patel's bedside manner is unsurpassed, she is constantly asking if you are ok as she performs her tasks ensuring your comfort from start to finish . This office is very clean, comfortable and very well maintained with very up to date treatment apparatus. I am a nervous dental patient and she takes her time and helps redirect my focus and always talks me through each step. The staff has always been kind and supportive. A very strange experience visiting this place. The place seems to be managed by a group of "Karens". The minute I stepped into the office, I was met with a group who just stared at me. When I introduced myself as a new patient, the response was one of annoyance that I interruped their chat session. The hygenist was rude and condescending. She insists of providing a long speech of each step of the cleaning procedure. When I informed I understood the procedure, she continued with the speech and basicially talked through the entire cleaning. Her actual response was "too bad, this is how I work". Of course, I didn't want to make a follow up appointment and when asked why, I indicated my calendar was busy and wasn't sure when I could return. The hygenist responded "Well I am busy too". Wow! The best part is they charged for a follow up appointment I never made. read more

Charged for a return to file down crown in front tooth to be even with other front tooth! Took a very short time and still aren't even and called it an office visit. Insurance company even told me that was a nasty way to do business. read more

Please stay away. When our insurance changed we sent our 19-year-old daughter to Bucks Dental Associates for a cleaning. Previously she had perfect teeth with no cavities. After she left Bucks Dental they informed her that she had 10 cavities!!! Of course, this was alarming and we followed up, and were also informed that she suddenly had 10 cavities. Hmmm...so we took her to 2 new dentists and to 2 orthodontists for opinions. ZERO cavities were found. After a bit of research, we've come to learn that this office in Chalfont is what they call a "dental mill" and they work for commissions and volume. Needless to say, we never returned. I strongly suggest you go elsewhere. read more

Worst dental experience I've ever had. Dentist messed up a filling. Extremely painful. Had to get it redone. Gaslit that nothing was wrong. Obviously something's wrong if you are in pain and it had to be redone. Refuse to take responsibility . requested my dental records, was told they would have them to me next day, never received. Was told I'd get a whitening kit for my experience, never received. Front desk ladies are nice, but hardly relevant to actual dental work. Also note no cavities for 10 years with checkups every 6 months and go here for first time and have 4 within a 6 month period. Other reviews mention misdiagnosis of cavities. I understand mistakes happen but gaslighting customers, not taking accountability ,and not following thru on what you say is unacceptable. Would not recommend. read more

I have to say that I was extremely impressed with Bucks Dental Associates. Just a little bit of background, due to an unhealthy habit of overindulging in sweets as a child, I've had plenty of experiences at the dentist. This developed into an irrational fear of the metal instrument wielding doctors. Dr. Kim at Bucks Dental has managed to relieve the hesitation I have about going to the dentist. She easily caught onto the fact that I was not 100% comfortable and proceeded to put my mind at ease. What was originally only supposed to be a cleaning became repair of a cavity as well. Dr. Kim explained what she was doing at all times. She warned me of certain parts of the procedure that could be uncomfortable and repeatedly made sure I was doing okay. She is soft spoken but also works with confidence behind her every movement. I would gladly trust my dental care to her again in the future. The staff was amazingly kind and welcoming. Not once did I feel out of place and I would gladly recommend Bucks Dental Associates to everyone! Thanks for the care! read more

I've been coming to Bucks for years now! The staff is so kind and helpful. I generally just need cleanings but I wanted to write this review because I've had a cavity for about four years now. Rather than quickly saying I needed to get it filled, Dr. Satashia simply watched it for years, making sure it didn't grow in size. I only just now got it filled because it grew and we decided it would be smart to get it done. I appreciate her not jumping to any big treatments and only suggesting what is necessary. read more

This is for mainly for Dr Satashia (and also Dr. Kim). After spending thousands and thousands of dollars with another dentist, and still having bad teeth, I did some research with knowledgeable people and found Dr. Satashia. She is absolutely the best dentist I have ever encountered and I highly recommend her. She does her own surgery and implants. She is up on all the modern techniques. Most importantly, she really seems interested in making me teeth and gums the best that they can be -- she takes tremendous pride in her work. She is a take-charge technician with a great way of communicating with her patients and her work is absolutely top-notch. Everyone at the office is friendly as well....No-one likes to go to the dentist but when you do go you want to be sure you're in good hands. And here at Bucks Dental, you are. read more

This dentist tried to get me to pay over $1,000 for work that would not had been needed. I got a second opinion from 2 dentists after coming to this office, and they confirmed that I would not need the excessive amounts of fillings and treatment that this dentist said I would need. I'm really glad I switched over to this office. I've lived in Doylestown for over 30 years and have bounced around dentist to dentist because I either always felt: overcharged or not treated great. This office is professional, clean and very helpful. They do family dentistry, which means everyone (including my kids) can go to 1 place. Justine, Dr. Kim and Jay are so great! They help deal with the crazy insurance companies and Justine is great with the kids! They were even able to get my son in same day for an emergency visit ! Again, so glad I switched. read more

I had an absolutely horrible experience here. This was the most painful cleaning I've ever had, I wanted to walk out. I think it was because dentist was in such hurry. They were talking about how they were going to bill me for out of pocket expenses that my insurance didn't cover, before I walked in the door. I should have known. Before they even did a thorough inspection or cleaning they had found 8-10 cavities in my mouth. Which was going to cost me close to $800 out of pocket after they billed my insurance over $2,000. Then they tried to upsell me on flouride treatments, toothpaste and a $200 toothbrush. I got a second opinion from a very experienced dentist in Wayne. He did a great job cleaning my teeth. Found 0 cavities and took the time to show me how to improve my brushing skills with a regular toothbrush. I have never had a worse experience at the dentist I felt like they were more interested in what they could bill me for, than actually taking care of my teeth. read more

Dr Mitelman is a really good doctor. She is really good with kids, makes them feel comfortable and stresses on good hygiene habits. She has good bedside manners and is very accommodating of her patients needs. She is skillful. I am glad I chose her as our family dental primary care doctor. read more

Amazing! I hadn't been to the dentist in a few years since we had moved. I was embarrassed and nervous about going after having not gone for a while. Dr. Kim was amazing, everyone was so nice.
