It's trouble with a capital T finding help out here but when you do and the work is very good I…read morehave to say something. I've been remodeling. Remodeling is almost my new middle name. I keep telling myself just say no but I can't kick the dragon off my back so I just keep going. One thing I really don't like doing is electrical work. My house is a good fifty years old but not to bad. The people before me put up new drywall and did some other work but left the original plugs in the wall. So bad the plugs would fall out or be so loose as not to work, I.e phone Charger. Yes, whoever did it is fired in my book. I had to change one because I was hanging a tv up and the plug would drop out after a mere tremor. So here I am on the floor, a big guy with big hands and I suppose these green eyes don't focus the way they used to. Just Being honest it probably took me about an hour just on that one plug. I had two bedrooms and The rest of the living room and hallway to do. I'm still shaking My head when I think of it. I looked around and called Murphys Electric and left a message. The next day I got a call from them and I spilled out my dilemma. He very Nice and patiently listened and then told me they are very busy But he'll see what he could do. Will, by the end of the day he calls back and tells Me he has someone that will be here at 8 am the next day. I was speechless. Ok let's go for it and 8 am the next day Jed pulls up and I show him what I needed and off to work he goes. He had the first bedroom done in an hour! It was great and then he kept going. He even cut a beater opening in the bathroom where I had put up cedar walls and put the plug over the wood. He even spots the outlet that I put in and noticed it was out from the wall a little too much and fixed that up. I was very happy with the work and even showed him the lights I have on the deck where I have it partially roofed and has overhead lights and will have them come back to replace the lights with something like a Key Largo type fan. I have complete confidence in them.

I was given a quote for a EVU home installation charger. I was expecting something around $1 000…read more(since that's what I was told when I bought the car). I was surprised when I saw a quote of $5,040. I called to ask the installer to simply help me understand why the quote was so high. He immediately said he didn't know why I bothered to call if I'm not going to receive the service. I said I was calling to try and understand the quote. He then asked if I read it, I said yes, he again said he doesn't understand my question. He was extremely rude from his very first response so I said, "I'm sorry, it seems like my question is bothering you." He said no and told me he doesn't know why I'm calling. He said I need a service change and I "obviously don't understand what that is". This seemed not only rude but kind of an ignorant thing to say, of course I don't know what that means. I am not an electrician, I don't know anything about it. That's why I'm hiring someone to do it for me. While I was explaining this. And yes at this point I absolutely had a tone to match his, he hung up on me. Very professional bro. You're a joke.

The man from Pacific said though it is rare, the problem could be in the wiring. He checked the wall switch first and found the switch was defective. The cost was $3 for the switch and the base one-hour fee. The fan was. okay and Grover Electric refunded our money for the fan we had purchased from them just in case. (If we hadn't had the new fan available and the old fan was broken, we would have had to pay for a second visit by the electrician to install the fan local on a very high ceiling. Fast efficient service from the company which handled the necessary advance paperwork by email.
