This might be a little long, but, I wanted to make sure that I hit every thing I wanted too. I also wanted to say that I am a widow, and I am a woman. As a woman and/or a widow, we are ALWAYS afraid of being taken advantage of because this kind of "stuff" is usually out of our realm and we feel uncomfortable making these kind of decisions. Feeling vulnerable for sure!! So THAT'S where I was at when I made my 1st call to schedule an estimate. Ryan Parker came out to do the estimate and he was AMAZING!!! Patient with all of my questions and repeating them when I asked again because I didn't understand. He would reword the answers so I could understand some things better as well. He made me feel comfortable and treated me like he would his own mother. Or at least I felt like that. He was there for about an hour and a half or so, measuring on the inside and outside and using tools on the outside as well. It was a full on inspection as to what was going on, and, in which part of the house. And for Free!! If I said, no thank you, still no cost. But I KNEW I had a serious problem, I just needed to understand exactly what is was, how to fix it and to feel like I was safe with whom I was trusting this with. Both structurally for my house and financially for me! And I did!!! It started with Ryan. Then on the day of installation of the piers (or beams as I call them- lol) Josh, Rickey and Antoine came out. They were equally amazing in making me feel comfortable in what was going on. They took me to the trailer that had all the equipment on it and showed me what they were and explained how they will be placed in the ground and then attached to the foundation. They let me take pictures of them when I asked and I even got to watch them put one in the ground. Made me feel like I was part of the process and not just the "payer". It helped me understand a lot better of what Ryan was saying during the initial visit. I found it all intriguing. Josh, Rickey and Antoine were super great and they worked wonderful together! They were also able to close up my stepping cracks pretty good and lifted that one corner about 2 inches!! I was very impressed!! They even found a spot that wasn't on my original plan that needed some attention either now or pretty soon. My front column was starting to move away from the house. I could visibly see that once he pointed it out to me!! Paint was even missing due to the moving of the column!!! I said yes, please, let's fix it while you are here! He even called GreenSky (their finance people that they use I guess. Not as good of a review for them. I didn't find them friendly or helpful) BUT, Josh called them and got everything squared away for me so we could add it on to what they were already doing!! They cleaned up nicely when they were done as well. I was VERY pleased with the crew (Josh, Rickey and Antoine)! I had just one more step in this process and that is to repair my sidewalk and driveway that was also moved or slanted and cracked from the shifting of my house. Jordan and Hector came out to repair this phase of the project. And like the others that came out this far, impeccable!!! Jordan and Hector introduced themselves, asked if I had any questions and then explained to me what they will be doing. I watched them do that as well because it was the foam stuff they'd shoot under the concrete and I wanted to see how that worked too!! Pretty neat!!! I asked if he could do a couple extra areas that were trip hazards for me while he was there and he said absolutely. Once again I had to call GreenSky, and had difficulties, and he was extremely patient and helped me with them as well!! He needed to come back to remove and then repair some concrete to fix an area of the garage that was sunk and when he did I asked him if he could repair some of the concrete repair that Josh's crew had done because it had rained and got messed up a bit and he said of course!!! Not upset or annoyed that I asked at all!! Jordan was very accommodating with any request I had had. Customer's wants and needs were high priority for him and it showed! When he came back out to fix all the concrete he needed to do, he sent me pictures of it and it looked beautiful!! He did a fantastic job AND he even texted me the next day to see if I was happy or if I needed anything else looked at or addressed. I am telling you, I went into this job scared, nervous and overwhelmed!! But they were ALL just AMAZING!!!!! Very kind, patient and knowledgeable in their field!!!! I couldn't of been in better hands anywhere else!! So if you are debating about calling them, DON'T!! I hope I don't ever have to call them again, but if I do need their service again......... in a heart beat!!!! Thanks guys!!! read more

Crawlspace encapsulation. We were scheduled to have this process done last year, the day before Hurricane Helene and so it didn't happen. They refunded 100% of our deposit since we didn't know if our home would be torn down or repaired. We have since begun the repair process and decided to move forward with the encapsulation. I look forward to seeing how this improves the air quality in the home and constant water issues we deal with on perking soil. Cody is our sales consultant and he was always helpful, and responsive. If I could give Alpha Foundation- Apopka workers Ricky and Isaiah a 10 Star Review I would. These two guys arrived on time and were quick to realize that there was an issue with installing 2 of the 4 piers to the back wall foundation of our home. Problem solving began with phone calls to company engineers and with an onsite visit by Field Manager Andrew to assist. The Gold Star review is for their honesty and transparency to advise against continuing with today's install due to problems with access to one of the wall's footer. Andrew did offer options for us to consider in the future. Should Ricky and Isaiah show up for your foundation work; rest assured that the job will be done right the first time. Alpha Foundations did not deliver as contracted for the lift, level, and stabilization of our driveway. They left foam seeping from cracks & holes they drilled and stained the concrete. They did not fill any cracks to block future water entry & there is currently a 2+ inch difference in height in an area pooled with rain water. Their PolyRenewal system added zero aesthetic value to our property. Absolutely NOT a cost-saving venture and would NOT recommend! Their contract requires arbitration and hiring an attorney to dispute the scope of their "work" so we would be at an even greater financial loss! :( read more

Update: I was told by Bradley that the city signed off on the permit for the Intellijacks on 12-23-25 and I told him that no one came to the house to inspect them, so I do not understand how they signed off that the job was completed and that the work was sound. So, I called the City of Avon Park planning and was told that the City of Sebring did the inspection, so I called their planning department and was transferred to Inspector Ryan, since he claimed that he inspected the work. When I first spoke to him, he said that he did complete the work on the 23rd and I told him that was impossible, because he didn't come in my house that day or any day and he said that he received photos and the engineer plans and that was how he inspected the work. Inspector Ryan told me that it comes down to engineering if there is a problem anyway so that is how they sign off on all permitted work, they do not inspect the work just photos and plans. Joscar and Sam with Alpha Foundations came out and tried to fix my Intelljacks and try and fix the bumps in my floor, they said that since I was told that these jacks would stabilize my house by the salesman and the two that installed the jacks originally. Joscar and Sam told me, that there is not enough of them or in the right locations to accomplish that and when I told them that the two guys that installed the jacks removed the boards that was part of my previous foundation, and I showed Joscar what was removed by the installers. Joscar said that they should not have removed them and that I still needed my original foundation, because I had approximately half of the jacks I need, I told him that was not what I was told or I would not have gotten them, because $15,000 for partial improvement. Joscar and Sam told me that the reason I'm having these bumps in the floor is because my beams aren't tied together the way Joscar explained it to me is they are supposed to be screwed together with blocks of wood so that when the jack lifts on one they all lift, however since some places didn't have those blocks when one beam is lifted the other one is free and that is what is causing the bumps and the hills and valleys I now have. I said if you guys realized this in the first few minutes that you were down there then why did not the salesman and the previous installers notice this and stop the installation until it could be fixed, since this quite possibly could be causing damage to my floor and foundation. On 2-2-26 Bradley said that in order to fix my foundation it will cost an additional $9,600 but he said he could reduce it to $6,000 but he would talk to his supervisor to see what he could do. On 2-3-26 Bradley called me and said that his supervisor wants to help me out because he knows they messed up and said the best he could do is to take 50% off the $9,600 to reduce it to $4,800. I said so the first installation that I paid $15,000 for that destabilized my house more than it was before I paid all of that money now, I have to pay an additional $4,800. I said this feels like a bait and switch I was promised one thing and when that made things worse, I have to pay more to accomplish what was promised. Bradley then offered to shimmy my foundation as a free alternative which may help in the short term but may cause more problems and damage in future. When I was told that they were a daughter company to GroundWorks and they have been operating for 22 years that I was going to have quality work done and my house was in good hands, but they made it worse and want more money to fix it or offer a free temporary fix. After hearing the options that Alpha Foundations as offered to rectify my situation it appears I am going to have to get an independent evaluation of my situation and ascertain if or what options I have available to fix my house. read more

May 2023, ALPHA FOUNDATIONS; was contracted and PAID in FULL. Whereas work started to stabilize the pool deck. The Poly used pushed out and broke a cement beam (footer), under the pool deck slab as it expanded. I was then told that the POLY mixture was incorrect and ALPH ALPHA would have to come back to correct and complete the project. After repeated calls, April 2024 Efrain Borrero came out for inspect His Service note: "advised that we will have the crew come out and patch work it once he builds a barrier against the open area where the POLY came out." Whereas 1 person not a crew came out to pump more POLY! The broken cement beam was not addressed, I asked to talk to a Supervisor. Everything they said was far from true.They were quick to take my money and run for the hills! They will not back up any of their warranty.They will not back up their work.They literally ignore you and run for the hills and try to blame the customer of why they installed their product incorrectly. A Strong warning to anyone wanting to use Alpha foundations to raise their slab with foam. My experience was terrible. They took my money and didn't even fix the issue. Extremely bad communication and didn't complete the job as quoted. My pool slab around the perimeter was not level and so I called Alpha foundations to come and correct this. They promised me they could inject the foam and raise the slab back up and then it would be stabilized and level for years to come. All this sounded like the perfect solution so I signed a contract and a few weeks later they were scheduled to get started. On the day the guy arrived to lift the slab he tells me he can't do it because we have marble pavers on the deck and they don't remove them to access the slab underneath. This would have been wonderful to know in advance and also so I could understand the additional cost associated. So now I had to find a paver company that would come to remove the tiles and then replace them. This costing quite a bit more in addition to the cost of the foam. They finally come back to do the foam. The truck breaks the first time and needs to come back a second time. I get the pavers replaced and we look into having a pool enclosure added. The companies for this inform me that the edges of the pool deck are still significantly sloped and concave in areas and that the enclosure will have gaps at the bottom as a result. So I call Alpha foundations back out to ask if they can correct this and get the deck level. Their response is that I need to pay the paver company to come back out and remove the tiles and replace again and repeat this process of foam. So once again I would have to pay thousands to correct their mistake. I would never have paid to do the foam in the first place if I knew nothing was going to be corrected and still have issues. I would have been much better off just either having the slab edges redone or having a paver company fill and level the areas. Total waste of thousands of dollars. Don't waste your time and hard earned money on this company. read more

I recently had my French drains installed by Florida Foundation Authority. Davis Premo sales rep was a smooth talker and was very reassuring about the job that needed to be done. After the job was done, he did a terrible inspection and missed all the damage that showed up weeks later Patrick Jaelin and Andy workers came to do the job. Did an unprofessional and rushed job. Which I came to find out weeks later Not only did they leave an incomplete job of not connecting to he underground pvc pipes. but they also broke my sprinkler system which gushed out hundreds of gallons of water when I finally turned on my sprinkler system weeks later. I am attaching photo and video footage of my house damaged and soil eroding where they left the job unfinished. And even left their pipe cutting tools behind in the bushes They damaged my irrigation system, which is now flooding my house. I have a warrantee with them, which they claim will not cover their mistakes and negligence. Their customer service representative (a woman named Harley) was absolutely horrible and would not even connect me with management. She was rude on the phone and defensive. I had to constantly text and call the sales rep to get anywhere. The manager Eric Estelli didn't respond to my call. I expect he will come personally to see the damage incurred on my house. They don't call you back, don't respond to your phone calls. They take your money, do a Sh*t job, and then run away. Do not go with this company. I will not remove this review until they honor their warrantee and their word on their workmanship and fix the damages they have incurred on my house. read more

We had an appointment with a representative with FL Foundation Authority about 3 weeks ago. Eric, the salesperson, was professional, polite and courteous. No high pressure sales. He was very informative and what "did it" for us, we told him something about what the previous owners doing something to the roof rafters when they improperly tried to address the issue, and he went up in our attic at around noon, in FL, in the summer! I guess it may have been 115º to 120º up there! Offered very good financing, including 0% interest for 18 months. And his information was consistent, but better, than other quotes we had obtained. And I would suggest obtaining other quotes/opinions before getting the job done. Joshua and Raymond just left our home after completing the work using the PolyRenewal System to stabilize our home. Both young men were professional, polite, friendly, and courteous. We enjoyed having them in our home, actually! They explained what they were doing, what we could expect, and provided useful information every step of the way. They were neat, tidy, and cleaned up when they were finished. They actually completed the job a lot quicker than I thought they would, drilling and filling 16 holes in about 3 hours or so. Although I cannot rate the outcome of the PolyRenewal System at this time, as the work was just completed, we did receive a 5 year warranty that the house would not move more than 1/4". But as far as the contact we had with FL Foundation Authority employees, including office staff on the phone, I would give them 5 stars, and I did! read more

So I had some drains and catch basins put in about a month ago. At the time of installation, the workers were professional and punctual. however, there was a couple of errors made during installation of the drains, in which i noticed the water continued to pool in my backyard. I called and a representative came out right away and addressed all my concerns. Joe Kraus, is excellent, he arrived at my house on time, apologized for the inconvenience, thoroughly examined the drains and told me everything that would need to be redone for proper drainage, and what to expect.
