If we could give them a zero rating I would. Used these guys 2-1/2 to 3 years ago for soil/sand erosion behind our sea wall. We called them back once, when the project was only about 6 months old. They never corrected the issue and when more erosion occurred behind the wall again, I let it go until this year. We did the traditional method this time - filter barrier, stone and repack the top. Ironically, it cost 7K with LRE and 7K to repack it 3 years later. What ever foam they used has completely disolved when it was dug out or very little evidence foam was ever used. Do not waste you money and go the old tried and true method to repair your wall and just dig out. read more

Absolutely avoid this company. I should have stopped them from doing any work when they arrived. They showed up late. The guy doing the utility survey prior to the work being done wasn't told by LRE what he was doing. When the LRE crew showed up, they asked me what they were doing when they arrived. That is on me for not realizing right then and there that they should not be doing any work on my foundation. They were supposed to fill a void under my foundation and ended up raising the slab to the point it damaged the flooring in my home. LRE admitted to causing the damage but ultimately only offered $500 for the repair. I had to pay another company to remove the flooring and then pay a second company to level out the floor, and replace the flooring. I have no idea of the long term effects the foundation damage will have on my drywall where the slab was raised. I have attached a picture of the damage and how much they raised my slab. Save yourself the headache and go with a more reputable company. I'm making sure to tell my family, friends, and co-workers to steer clear of LRE. read more

They raised some parts of my yard and a little spot around the pool area, but what I hired them to do was level my slab due to collapsed sewer lines, however they were unable to do so, So I have mixed emotions about the service. and now I'll have to pay a concrete gut to relevel my slab. read more

DO NOT use this company!! They stole our money!! We had a rep come to tell us about repairing our driveway. After reading the reviews we felt this would be a good company to hire....WROnG!! We were told the work couldn't be done for a couple of months but we would need to sign a contract. Being senior citizens we should know better but signed the contract and put down a deposit. The sales rep NEVER told us our deposit was non refundable. A week later we cancelled the repair as we decided $17,000 was just too much to pay! They kept $1700 of our deposit saying it was for administrative cost. WHAT....a date had not been set so please explain to me why you would keep our money???? read more

Worse company ever. They lie to you and take your money. I needed a small porch wall leveled out and now the county says I had a sinkhole repaired I can't get homeowners insurance and I can't sell my home. I asked about this when I first contacted LRE they told me multiple times it would not affect my insurance. Well guess what it has. Buyer beware. It will cost you 10 times over with the headache you will endure because of this It does not matter what the county permits state because at the end of the day there was an investigation done and subsequent repair performed. read more

Very professional company. Highly recommend. Needed some foundation work done on my home (underpinning due to soil undulation causing my house to move in rainy season) and asked my contacts in the construction industry for references. Almost every one of them referred me to LRE. After dealing with their staff, I see it was for good reason. The job went a few days over schedule due to some unforeseen complications (they don't have X-Ray vision unfortunately), but the crew leader was in contact with me the whole time and we made it work. Communication is key. After 2 weeks of heavy construction I could barely tell they had come and gone. The yard was neat, the cleanup was done well. All the things they told me they would likely damage were fixed and put back into place before they left. They have definitely mastered the "under-promise, over-deliver" technique. They cracked some pavers and ran over my downspout (which is understandable, trying to do construction on a residential property) but they came out and repaired the damages within a week. The price was about 20% more expensive than my other quote, but overall I feel it was worth the price and then some. These guys really knocked it out of the park. read more

I had LRE install a new drain system because my driveway and garage kept flooding. They have been out 4 times and I still use sand bags to keep the garage from flooding. After the last time I contacted 2 LRE employees to let them know fix #4 did not solve the problem. I was told after fix #3 that they could come out but I would be charged for them to do the job. WHAT KIND OF COMPANY CHARGES A CUSTOMER TO FIX THE JOB THEY QUOTED? I have not heard back from anyone at LRE after the last time I contacted them. As I stated in an earlier review LRE should just give you an estimate and once they come out they should just bring sand bags and leave them for you. For the most part the labor crew was just doing what they were told, but the engineers or what ever their title is in my opinion should be out on the job site watching and making changes as needed on the spot. I don't think CUSTOMER SATISFACTION is a part of LRE's mission statement. If you like to use sandbags to keep your area from flooding by all means hire LRE , otherwise find a different company. read more

After shopping around for a company to replace our driveway and sidewalk, we found LRE to be the most professional and had one of the best competitive rates. From their over the phone representatives to the head Forman on our job site, we were always treating as their most important customer. They were extremely easy to work with and were in constant communication with us from the very beginning to the very end. We highly recommended LRE and it's wonderful to work with a group of people who put their heart and soul into the quality of work they do. It was easy to see just how important it was for them in making sure we were completely satisfied. All I can say is this company is awesome. I read the other comment that complained about service, I call BS. Well let me tell you they were incredible and did a great job. I needed the backside of the pool deck raised and stabilized and cracks ground down etc. The workers (Scott and Devin) explained everything to me and understood my concern about the fiberglass pool. They were slow and methodical about where they drilled holes as they slowly raised the concrete. Honestly, if I didn't know better I would have thought they were working on their bosses personal home. That's how careful they were. There were a couple cracks they fixed for me that were not on the work order. Scott simply said "no problem, I'll get those for you". No complaining or saying "I can't do that". AND...for the same exact job Ram Jack quoted me a price of $3500 MORE than LRE charged. Would I recommend? HELL YES! Thank you LRE, keep up the great job! read more

I met with Shea Dawson (sales) of LRE Ground Services on August 7, 2019 about a drainage issue I had in the back of my building. He was very professional, took all measurements and returned a proposal later. I emailed him numerous times with questions and he was always very quick to reply and courteous. I finally made the decision to go forward on August 26 and sent a check. Then I heard nothing. I emailed Shea to ask if he rec'd the check and they had. He said they would be in touch, but I really never heard when they would start. (I should have asked from the beginning) At some point I was told that October 7 or thereabouts would be a start date and I would be contacted by Rob Kane (project manager?) soon. Didn't happen. This was the only portion of the project that I can say there were missteps.(I told Rob that communication is key) I had to keep contacting him to see when they would come. I felt as though my project was not important. The three men: Scott, Ted and Felton did a great job sealing up the exterior of the small building, installing the drainage pipe (pulled up pavers) and placing a drainage area away from the building. The area was left neat and clean. Very professional! Scott and his team tested the area with the hose and so far it worked as it should.I am most happy with the project so far. Now to see how it will work when the rains come. read more

LRE restored our cracked and sinking driveway to its original shape and height and filled all the cracks in a timely manner. Contracted L.R.E. to fix the outside edges of some of the concrete pool deck which had sunken down. Was sold on the process of ejecting foam under the effected edges of concrete slabs to raise it and attempt to make it more level. In addition, the foam will stabilize the slabs from further sinking. That's the pitch. The workers arrive, over a month later, and begin the process and setup equipment to monitor the amount of rise. Not long into the process I'm told that they can only eject enough foam until the slab begins to move and then stop. Otherwise the slab will crack or tiles will pop off in the pool, even the pool cage could get damaged. So you pay for a golden goose and they deliver a skinny chicken. Many thousands of dollars later my pool deck looks exactly the same as it did before the work started. Exactly, with the exception of a dozen or so drill holes. I should have checked Better Business Bureau first, I wasn't the only one. Yes, the salesman offered to send another crew out, of course, with the caveat that they could not guarantee. . . etc. read more
