i got this limo for my senior prom and out of all the limo companies we have ordered from this had been the worst one. the driver was snappy and rude. he took to longest route to reach our destination, he had no clue how to set up the bluetooth so we had to play music from our phones as the radio was also not working, and we were charged $137 dollars over the agreed payment without being given a reason why. when we called later to ask about the up charge and he proceeded to say that he tried to help us with the music but we were in a rush to go, he tried several times to help us and we didn't listen, and called me and my friends liars. not to mention my friends mother called the company and was cussed out and threatened. i would give this company 0 stars if i could. read more

I have used Alpha many times in the past. Everyone of my experiences were superior! My latest experience included a dinner/stretch limo excursion which was phenomenal! I rented a Lincoln for my 10th wedding anniversary from Alpha and what they showed up with, was a Cadillac instead. All my confirmations that I received from Alpha confirmed a Lincoln. I called Alpha and spoke with the owner whom told me he only has Cadillac's-that I had made an error in going online to book the Lincoln because it was thru a third party and not Alpha directly and therefore he does not have any Lincolns. Well so who took my money! I would not recommend anyone to do business with a company that does not know how the inventory they don't have, is being advertised and the inventory they do have, is not being advertise. I used this limo service for my wedding this weekend and was very pleased. From the first time I spoke with the office I was treated with respect. I had their company pick up family members from the Tampa Airport, the drivers were waiting for them and they treated them great.... I also used their service for the bachelor party. It was a 12 passenger limo van that was beautiful inside and the driver Debbie treated the men well. I had a stretch limo for the bridal party. The car arrived early and was clean and beautiful again our driver was Debbie and she was fabulous!! I would recommend using this company any time you need a car, they helped to make my day all the more special... read more

Do not use this company! The limo bus had a horrible odor and they had the most ridculous rules. The contract did not state no non alcholic beverages on the bus but we were told we could not carry unopened bottles of water in a bag onto the bus. and lets not get started with the driver...he was very unprofessional. He was more concerned with watching the anatomy of the females and engaging in the conversation at hand than driving. He was also inappropriate at times, even suggesting several strip clubs and clubs we should go to. Find another company in the area! read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! THEY WILL NOT LIVE UP TO THEIR END OF THE BOOKING CONTRACT. We booked Alpha Limo for our wedding in St. Pete. We booked three limos and one shuttle bus to transport the wedding party and guests from St. Pete Beach (hotel) to St. Petersburg (church for the ceremony) and back. I booked the service via telephone, speaking mainly with Terry (the owner). Terry is clearly a good salesman as he earned my confidence over several phone calls when I was looking around for a limo company. I am from out of state so I phoned several limo companies. Terry is a smooth talker when it comes to selling his company's services and goes so far as to say that he does not take a deposit or charge your credit card until the services are provided. Wedding day arrives. Instead of 3 limos at the pickup site as planned, there are only 2. Our wedding coordinator tells the wedding party (bridal party and groom's party) to take each of the cars and depart to the church so we are not late to the ceremony. She says that she will stay behind and wait for the third limo to take the rest of the wedding party and also hold the guests' shuttle back until the third limo leaves. We needed the third limo (which had greeters and such) to be at the church before the guests' shuttle, obviously. So the 3rd limo arrives late (about 15 min. according to the wedding planner, more on this later) and so that party and thus the shuttle bus are late to the wedding ceremony. Fine. Wedding ceremony happens, and we, as newlyweds, walk out of the church and see one of the limos with steam emanating from under the hood. I go up to the drivers who are all just standing around and ask how this can be fixed. One driver says "sorry, this happens." Okay, breakdowns happen. He then says that he does not know how long it will be to get another car. By this point we needed to be back at the hotel to take pictures and get ready in time for our reception. We couldn't afford to sit around waiting indefinitely for another car, so we tell him that we'll just take the remaining vehicles back. Our initial plan was for bride/groom in one limo, bridesmaids and groomsmen mixed into the other two limos. Since we were down one car, some bridesmaids sat in the back of our photographer's tiny rental car! And the groomsmen took the shuttle bus. This precluded any celebration in the limos with champagne, etc, as we had planned. Completely upset both the bride and groom. A few days after the wedding I call Terry to ask about any compensation for the missed service. He states that he provided all contracted service since all guests were able to return back to the hotel. WTH?! Yeah, our wedding party members got back to the hotel, sure, in the back of a rental car and in the shuttle bus. My contract with Alpha Limo was for 3 LIMOS. The whole point of renting limos is so we can USE them. Terry then proceeds to tell me that I should re-read the contract, which apparently states that he is not liable for any mechanical breakdowns. I find that to be a convenient way to excuse himself from any responsibility. He said his drivers offered to find another car. Sure, they did, but they explicitly said they don't know how long it would take to find another car. Has Terry ever planned an event where scheduling is super important (i.e., a wedding)?! We couldn't just sit around at the church (which needed us to vacate the premises for another event following ours) and wait for a third car to show up. Terry then proceeds to accuse me of damaging his limo during my ride back. He says the limo driver told him that she heard an argument and that we damaged the vehicle. WTH?! Now the driver is listening in to the passengers' conversations and spying on the passenger cabin? Terry also says that he will need to check his GPS to see if one of the limos was actually late in arriving at the event and that his drivers are never late. He then proceeded to lecture me that his company is the best in the Tampa area. Guess what, Terry? It does not matter if you think your company is the best. I run a business as well, and if your company is that great, then you should know how to compensate a customer when your company makes mistakes. Terry says he will not be able to compensate me for the fact that one of the limos broke down. That by definition to me would mean that he did not fulfill his end of the contract since we only got to use two of the three limos! But Terry hid steadfastly behind his clause that he is not responsible for mechanical breakdowns. Terry ultimately agrees to refund one hour ($85) from our $1340 bill. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY WILL CON YOU INTO BOOKING WITH THEM AS THEY ARE GREAT SALESMEN. BUT IF THEY MESS UP DURING THE DAY OF THE EVENT THEY WILL DENY, DENY DENY. USE ANY OTHER LIMO COMPANY IN THE AREA! How is it that riders aren't allowed to eat or drink on the bus but smoking is allowed? The bus reeked of cigarette smoke. The driver was creep and followed our group of 42 moms into our destination. Awful service! I would recommend you book with another company. We were not allowed to have water on the shuttle...water! Why have cup holders on the shuttle bus, but not allow the passengers to drink at minimum water? The shuttle should be cleaned and sanitized often anyway. It smelled of smoke as well. So, if there is no drinking of any kind, then how about no smoking too! The radio did not work all that great, and the driver was very unprofessional. He was more concerned with looking at the bodies of the women in our group. Do not waste your money. Take your business elsewhere. read more

The air conditioner didn't work in the stretch limo hummer for the first 2 hours!!! I booked the limo for 16 guests and this was extremely uncomfortable without A/C! I asked the driver about the air and he said it would take awhile to cool down but that was not true because the air conditioning wasn't working. We got to our destination and thankfully the air conditioner was fixed before we reloaded to drive home so the ride home was fine. But I am still very disappointed and I was very embarrassed in front of my guests. A few days later I called to speak with the owner about getting a discount. I really should have been offered something since the A/C didn't work for close to half of the rented time. I am very thankful that they fixed the air but I should be compensated for the first 2 hours. I hope that the owner contacts me and offers at least a discount on a future booking. read more

My husband and I leased the limo for the most important day of our life, our marriage ceremony on St. Pete Beach. The car was clean and comfortable. Our driver, Dan went above and beyond by accommodating every need. Our ceremony was just the two of us and we now consider Dan to be a part of our special day! I have used Alpha Limo for 4 years to pickup my son to and from boarding school. I made it real clear that I wanted a female driver with excellent credentials that I could trust. Ms. Debra Taylor would go out of her way to be at the gate waiting for him EVERY TIME. To drop him off at the airport, no way she would escort him to make sure he had the right boarding pass and go through TSA check point and bring him to the gate. EVERY TIME. Huge. Over 25 pickups and drop offs, same person, continuity of service, and excellent care of my son knowing he was in good hands. Thank you for your excellent service, never an issue with billing my credit card, every time I called friendly attentive staff, always prompt and always re assured me he was always safe. Ms. Taylor would call me to tell me he got food and water and is at his departing gate. Once he forgot his credit card, she bought him lunch and water, again Huge. Highly recommend this limo/car service. Never charged me extra for going above and beyond. Exceeded my expectations. read more
