When our flight was delayed after disembarking and we unexpectedly needed to stay at a hotel, he went above and beyond. He offered to pick us up and take us to the airport free of charge just to make sure the kids got there safely. That kind of kindness and care is so rare these days. Sammy, our driver followed directions and we were able to get to the airport quickly and easily. On our return flight we had the same driver. This time our flight was 2.5 hours late leaving Chicago. Our driver had received the notification that our flight was going to be late and was there to pick us up. Going and coming to the airport, Sammy had bottled water for us. Having never used this company before I really wanted it to work out. The price was great and Booking was easy online and was quickly confirmed by email. They were scheduled to be there for an airport drop off for our guests at 4:45am. At 4:55 I tried to call them to see if they were nearby and there was no answer. At 5am after I had already loaded my worried guests up in my car to take them to the airport-they called and said they were about 5 minutes away. 15 mins after they were supposed to already be there. I told them to cancel because we were already driving to the airport ourselves, and they said "ok" and hung up. No apology no mention of a refund- nothing. I have used towncar services in the are several times, and every time they showed up early. I understand things happen but that phone call should have came about 20 mins earlier, especially when you know someone is going to the airport. Also, an apology and a refund should have followed.
