What made him so good? 1. He listened. He asked me what he'd like me to work on, I told him, and he did it. Seems fairly standard, but I've had a number of RMTs ask me that question, and proceed to ignore my request. 2. He asked about the pressure quite frequently, which makes sense, because different muscles can handle different pressure. Once he got to a new muscle, if I said the pressure wasn't enough, he'd gradually build it up, and asked me to tell him to stop when he reached the right level. 3. At the end, he asked me for feedback. I had none. This is about as close to a perfect massage as I've ever had. I'd recommend James in a heartbeat. Though to be fair, I did go to this location once before, and was disappointed. The first therapist didn't do any of the things that James did, and never asked about the pressure. The only reason I came back a second time is because I got a gift certificate for a massage at Sutherland Chan, so I figured I'd use it again at this location, just ask for a different therapist than my first one, and I'm glad I did.

King Thai Massage did not mention that they would not be covered by SunLife and when my husband put the claim in through later that night it was rejected as King Thai Massage is a delisted provider. I am now out $60 on something I assumed would be 100% covered. I requested some accommodation by just refunding me the $25 RMT premium and the location refused. Needless to say I will never go back and I hope to warn others ahead of time as well.

I like a light extraction, but she was quite rough. Still, it was effective and I liked her. I love that they also offer SPF treatment at the end so your fresh skin is protected on your way out the door. Booking here was not the easiest thing. It was a little difficult to understand all the pages on their website, but now that I've gone through the process - I can understand their packages better. I will say, I did not like speaking with the receptionist. She's quite forceful and talks over you a lot. I wanted the answer to one simple question and she went on for almost 7 minutes. I was quite frustrated and almost didn't book because I didn't enjoy the interaction with her.
