I called about 30 times noone there to help. I went to the physical location and it seems that it doesn't exist. The owner called me back and said last minute he cancelled my move because of my honest review. Mind you I have been waiting since 1430. Very rude. This ruined my travel plans. This is my last day in the military service and I had planned to drive to NJ and my plans were ruined. Response to the owner. Things happen, therefore it is important to have a plan in place. A refund does not solve the fact that I was lied to and only got a call back after I put in a review. A refund and to surprise me with "we are not going due to your review" does not excuse any sort of professionalism!

Unfortunately, this move was the complete opposite. The movers showed up smelly and unprofessional, and they argued with each other the entire time they were in my home. It was uncomfortable to watch, and on top of that, they were clearly milking the clock rather than working efficiently. When my furniture arrived, several pieces were damaged--including an $800 dresser with two legs broken off, leaving it unable to stand. Three lamp shades never made it into my home during unloading, and the company initially denied they were ever part of the move. For a whole week, they ignored my calls and messages about reimbursement, after saying they would get back to me in 24 hours. They only responded once my father got involved, and even then, their offer was insulting: $70 for the three missing lamp shades and $0 for the ruined dresser. I'm extremely disappointed in how drastically their service quality declined. This company is now unprofessional, careless, and unwilling to take responsibility. I regret booking with them again, and I strongly suggest choosing a different moving company if you want your belongings--and peace of mind--protected.

I received email reminders leading up to our move, and a phone call the morning of our move when the truck was 15 minutes out. Robert and Robert (or Rob and Bert!) arrived right on time and ready to work. They did a quick walk-thru of the space with us, where we identified which items were going where (we had to stop at a storage unit before the home we were moving into). After that, they packaged all of our items with care, and safely loaded everything onto the truck! It took around four hours to complete our move, and at around $800 total, it was well worth the price. The two Roberts were friendly, professional, and fast while still moving larger pieces carefully. We would definitely hire A&R Moving Solutions again, and highly recommend them to anyone in need of moving services in Greater Nashville.

The movers, staff and anyone associated with them were rude and unfriendly. The charges on this invoice are for a 2 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment (that was completely packed and boxed for them) just boxes and furniture. When contacted about the prices I was informed that they charge an hour travel time regardless if they move a tv across the street or an hour. So moving my apartment 3.2 miles cost me almost $200 alone. Plus gas! So you pay gas and time for the employees to work...when they aren't even working for me yet... The packing material that was used was clear plastic wrap...$150....on two dressers, a couch and a couple other small items....but $150...?? They were slow and unprofessional as it took them 40 minutes to take the legs off my kitchen table, and were caught playing with my daughter's toys. I am going to take them to civil court and file a complaint with a Better Business Bureau. We have not even gotten an apology. There should be criminal charges for what is essentially a hit-and-run. They showed up an hour late and didn't even have the proper tools needed to disassemble furniture, including beds. There were two movers--an older gentleman and a younger man. Unfortunately, the older mover appeared unable to perform much of the physical labor, leaving my friend and her uncle to help move heavy furniture and boxes themselves. A woman, who appeared to be the owner, sat in her car the majority of the time and did not assist. The situation became even more concerning when the movers left for nearly two hours in the middle of the job, stating they needed to handle a family matter. While they were gone, my friend, her family, and friends finished packing the remainder of the home. When the movers returned, the younger mover brought his wife and children with him, which felt highly unprofessional during a paid moving service. Once we arrived in Nashville, they unloaded everything into the living room without any organization and failed to reassemble any of the furniture they had taken apart. To make matters worse, while my friend was carrying boxes upstairs, the movers left without notifying anyone, without confirming the move was complete, and without ensuring the customer was satisfied. I made several attempts to contact the company afterward, but her calls went unanswered. Hiring movers is supposed to reduce stress, not create more of it.
