Absolutely Terrible Experience - Shockingly Different From Last Year I used this company a year ago and had a great experience, which is the only reason I decided to book with them again. Unfortunately, this move was the complete opposite. The movers showed up smelly and unprofessional, and they argued with each other the entire time they were in my home. It was uncomfortable to watch, and on top of that, they were clearly milking the clock rather than working efficiently. When my furniture arrived, several pieces were damaged--including an $800 dresser with two legs broken off, leaving it unable to stand. Three lamp shades never made it into my home during unloading, and the company initially denied they were ever part of the move. For a whole week, they ignored my calls and messages about reimbursement, after saying they would get back to me in 24 hours. They only responded once my father got involved, and even then, their offer was insulting: $70 for the three missing lamp shades and $0 for the ruined dresser. I'm extremely disappointed in how drastically their service quality declined. This company is now unprofessional, careless, and unwilling to take responsibility. I regret booking with them again, and I strongly suggest choosing a different moving company if you want your belongings--and peace of mind--protected. read more

John and his business is not insured as stated and practice fraudulent activities. My move was 2/15 and I still have not received payment on damages done to my property. All info requested from him (images, online photos of my items) have been sent. I have contacted him every week since the move with no response on his end. A complaint has been filed with BBB which has been ignored. I am all for supporting local small businesses, but I recommend looking elsewhere if you don't want to and up having to replace/ repair your belongings. $2,300 couch was not wrapped properly and left a massive stain which needs to be professionally removed. Also nicked the wood base. Broke the leg of my TV stand along with the inside wood particle. Patio furniture also damaged. He offers $0.60/ lb per item damaged. Payout was $120 which was just for the couch. No response on TV stand which I had to replace as it was no longer sellable/ usable or damage to patio furniture. Where do I start?! The movers showed up smelling like a Cheech & Chong movie the proceeded to throw our items around. They wrapped things that didn't make sense and dropped and broke things we wrapped and marked FRAGILE! They took an hour lunch that we paid for, worked as slow as possible and threw things wherever they wanted in our new home even though we took the time to mark things in advance. They disassembled furniture for no reason and couldn't figure out how to reassemble. We were gravely overcharged for their incompetence! Now they won't reach back to compensate for what was damaged! Terrible experience with this moving company last week. Several broken items including my custom sectional from Haverty's. No accountability when asking the movers what happened. Their reply was often I don't know what happened and a shrug. They also took my bed apart and left parts of it at the previous location, I had to call a friend to bring us the parts so they could reassemble at the new location. Door jams at new build pretty banged up as well. I caution consumers who are considering using this company to avoid if you care about your belongings. Sometimes cheaper isn't better. I chose these guys for my move because it was a great price. A day after my move I found out they broke one of my TV's. After a week of trying to speak with someone I finally talked to John and was told that he would only reimburse me $150 for a $350 tv even after he told me his guys said they were aware and it was their fault. What could've been $350 has now turned into $600 bc I have taken them to small claims court for my tv and court filing fees. I used these guys to move last Sunday, and they did a great job. They're one of the least expensive movers in Nashville, which is why I hired them over others, but I couldn't tell. There are only three guys, but they were super fast and very friendly. I would rate them five stars, but they took a REALLY long time to put my bed back together. Super fast taking it apart though. Nothing was damaged, at least not that I could see. They're good value too; most of the other movers in Nashville are $180-190. These guys are only $130. So I would recommend. I've moved homes 6 times in the last 6 years... Due to a fast closing, I was unable to obtain my usual movers. Called and spoke with John and was quoted a reasonable price for my 1700 sq ft home. I asked for three men to expedite the move. problems were as follows: 1- did not load truck properly and had to make two trips. called and asked for another truck to come, was told no. I was told " every move is different ". Yes, it is apparently. 2- many of my things were damaged, chipped or broken 3-they tried backing in my driveway and got stuck in a ditch, then tried backing in again 3 hrs later after second trip 4- by the time the second round arrived things were stacked and no care was taken in placement of items 5- brand new wood flooring and tile was scratched and dented 6-one man had a horrible attitude, saying how hungry he was, constantly Complaining and pouting 7- I put down protective construction flooring to be stepped on and it was totally disregarded. 8- they had NO tools and stated they couldn't undo my washer , then they could not reassemble a bed that was disassembled. I had to pay someone else to be here to do that. 9- they put all their wrapping in my trash -stating there's a fee to haul things away. I have never had a more horrific move. They don't care about your items, your home, and do not plan ahead ( no tools), dirty gloves leaving marks on all my furniture, cabinets, floors , walls. I had to take 3 days off to just clean both homes. if you have under 1000 sq ft this might work for you. .. but I do not recommend. I felt scammed on the pricing, was not fairly compensated for the errors, and I'm left to repair things on top of the other hellish things that come with moving. Crew just gave up at the end. Tried to leave without taking furniture upstairs. I had to tell them to finish the job. One of the guys injured himself so I paid for 3 guys but one didn't do much the whole time. 3 guys took twice as long to move the same amount of stuff as the last time it was moved by 2. I confirmed the date with the owner (John) of my move a month in advance. He gave me a time window of 8am-10am for 4/19/22. Day of, I don't hear anything in that time window. I started calling at 10:05am, and no one answered. The voicemail box isn't set up, so there's no way to reach anyone. I sent an email, didn't hear back. Got loads of automated texts, so I finally texted one of those. And I was told there were no movers available today, even though I'd confirmed a month ago. Not even a call back. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! He quoted me a higher rate than listed on the website and lowered it when I called him out too. I was willing to let that slide as a simple mistake, until I was completely ghosted. I've set up all my utilities around this date, so now I've got to pay more to find movers day of. This company moved me earlier this year and it was a great experience. Not this time around. I heard my furniture being dropped upstairs and when I went to see what was going on there were 4 dents in my wall. One in the stairway so I can see how that happened but then others in random rooms. My dresser was chipped. And they left without putting together my mirror on the dresser. When I called to complain the movers said it was because I seemed rushed. Well, then why not clear it before you leave without fully doing your job. Also they started the clock 7 mins after calling to say they were coming, with a 3 hr arrival window. The manager did refund me for the 1/2 hour but that's about it! They don't cover walls. So there is 0 accountability. Also this business has a phone that rings with no voicemail set up and texts you someone will call you. Extremely unprofessional. $600 for a horrible moving experience.
