We did a combination of all three!! They started when they said, made our project the only one they we're working on and kept us informed during the whole project. They have a great selection of plants and we hired them once before to landscape our yard and decided on them again when our yard needed landscaping again after wind storm damages. They do good work and we've been complimented by neighbors about our yard. The only drawback is that it's hard to get a hold of them and sometimes you are left in the dark about what's going on with your property. Since it was so close to winter last year, our work was put on hold until spring 2022. With spring now here, we were hoping to be contacted by Alpine about what plans there are for our property. Especially when our sprinklers are not wired and we are watering by hand at the moment. It's hard to get a hold of Glenn which we have been doing for the past week to see what's going on with our order. When contacting Glenn, you basically call the store and the cashier checks to see if Glenn is available and a lot of times he is unable to answer the phone so they take a message. Sometimes you never receive a call back. At the current time, we haven't received a call back from Glenn. We are trying to determine what plans there are for the remainder of the work for our property or even if they forgot about us. We've called a couple of times but haven't gotten a response and were told they would call us back. If it weren't for the difficulties contacting them with questions about their plans, I wouldn't hesitate to give them 5 stars. Right now, we have no idea if they forgot about us, will start working on our yard tomorrow, or if they will do work in a couple of months. read more

Two year update Expensive! Lack of support Perennials have died or aren't doing well Two cotoneaster fried last year because of placement, too hot, they wouldn't replace-they planted One tree has always been stressed since they planted and looks iffy still No additional soil amendment added when planted so lawn etc growing on rock bed Water turn-on/off too expensive I don't like bark, can't plant or add amendment easily, will eventually remove, add layer of soil. Landscape lighting still doesn't work, wish I'd gone with solar, always works and inexpensive For what they were paid, this yard isn't going to last I've replaced plants already- too expensive I have added fertilizer and taken care of yard. If I did again they would only do design, execute hard scapes and nothing else. Home Depot guarantees plants, and cheaper, drive is worth it. I paid $30 for one plant that HD had for $4 Really disappointed and will never go back there read more

I LOVE Alpine Gardens Landscaping business. Glenn the owner was great to work with. He is a master gardener and developed a beautiful landscape design for our new home. He worked with us on pricing and plants and gave us options. We went up to his nursery so he could see what plants we liked and what we didn't. His crew that did the install was very professional and made any change we requested. When ever I have had a question or concern, Bruce, our project manager has been incredibly responsive. He generally got back with me the same day and my issue or concern was quickly addressed. Our neighbors have commented on how great our yard looks. Thanks Alpine Gardens. This is a wonderful local nursery with some of the very best plants I have ever seen and the owners take extreme care with the plants and are very knowledgeable and helpful.
