I couldn't be happier with my experience working with Alpine Plastic Surgery. I read that some people didn't like how quickly Dr. Barnett was in and out of their appointments leading up to the procedure. For me, it's the opposite. Who wants a doctor who has all the time in the world to sit around with each patient? I want one that does such great work that his time is in demand. He was never rude, very friendly and answered all my questions. Once that was done, he moved on to other patients and that worked great for me! I had a lower bleph done and CO2 laser treatment. Maddi did the laser and she was honestly my favorite part about the experience. She was clearly very knowledgeable, and took so much time making me feel comfortable about the procedure. She has such a calming and kind presence, I instantly felt comfortable with her. She did a fantastic job and I'm thrilled with the results! The office checked up on my recovery and I knew if I needed anything, they were there to help. At an after appointment, I explained to Dr. Barnett that I was hoping to have a little more tightness under my eyes after the procedure. He agreed and set me up with a second round of the CO2 laser treatment at no cost, once my skin was ready. He just wanted me to be fully satisfied with my results. Rebecca and Marissa took care of me the second time around and I adored them as well! Their knowledge and demeanor were so helpful. I'm not one who loves being recommended products sold at the office after a procedure, but Rebecca wasn't pushy at all and I ended up getting a hydrating mask she recommended for the recovery and now I'm so hooked to that product, I may as well invest in their stock, because I'm hooked for life. In 2021 I got my breast augmentation done at Alpine plastic surgery. I got a lift and breast implants. They scarred me so bad that the breast scars never healed but when I went to Dr. Fairbanks and got my new breast implants, he cut out the old scars, and the new scars healed and turned white within two months, whereas my scars from Alpine plastic surgery didn't heal after five years. They were red and bulging out and no scar cream or treatment helped. Also, Dr. Fairbanks was 10 grand while I was quoted 15 grand for new breast implants at Alpine plastic surgery. They do shitty plastic surgery for twice the price. I do not recommend. read more

I went in for a breast augmentation and was consulted by Alece. During the consultation, she told me that the sizes I was trying would make me around a DD, which was my dream size. I trusted her completely and followed her and the surgeon's recommendation that 385cc would look best for my body. After surgery, I was devastated. The results are nowhere near what I was promised -- it looks like I only gained about an inch from my original size. I started as a 34A, and I barely look different. Later, I learned that 470cc likely would have given me the results I wanted. What made this even worse was how Alece handled things. From the start, she felt more like a salesperson than someone who genuinely cared about my goals or happiness. Since my surgery, she's continued to ignore my questions and make assumptions instead of listening to what I'm actually saying. I feel completely dismissed and unheard. Now I have to wait months to even think about getting this fixed, and I still don't know if I'll be charged again for something that wasn't done right in the first place. I'm deeply disappointed and regret trusting this office. I won't be going back -- I'll be finding another doctor who actually listens and cares about their patients. read more

A happy patient here. Dr Barnett is a professional. He is my type of doctor; punctual, straight to the point, and patient enough to answer and explain any questions I had. His supporting staff are excellent!!! Cordial and beautiful smiles. Also anytime I had a question I'd leave a message and get a returned call promptly. It is a busy practice so it's understandable when a call isn't returned within 15 minutes. I would highly recommend. I had to have a reaug because the implants I had in had been recalled due to possibly causing cancer. I went to Barnett because he was the dr that put them in. He made a huge mess. Puckered stitches, horrible scarring, uneven breasts. I went back to get them fixed and they turned out the same. No improvement at all. I never went back to him to fix them a third time. Do not go here!!!!!!!!!! Please read!!!!!!! I've had multiple surgeries by Dr. Barnett. None of them turned out and Dr. Barnett continued to lie to me to make more money!!!! I trusted him and he took advantage of me. Alisa failed to follow through on several occasions. She is a "nurse" but really she just sells surgeries. Alisa is basically a used car salesman working at a plastic surgeons office. Once she gets your payment she doesn't care. If you go there be prepared to deal with her high pressure tactics. She's going to want to schedule your surgery and have you make the down payment before you leave the office. She's going to make it sound like if you don't schedule today then it could be months before you can have surgery. I was literally yelled at by Christina. FYI - I never raised my voice when I was speaking to her. Idk how she has a job. I made a complaint to Alissa (not Alisa) and no one has ever called to apologize or done anything to make it right. It's obvious Dr. Barnett does not care about his patients otherwise he would have zero tolerance for behavior like this in the workplace. No one in their office seems to have it together. They don't return calls. They don't care. They are rookies because no professional place of business would act like they do. I've never heard of a doctors office screening calls and not returning messages from patients. If you are considering getting surgery do your homework and find a doctor who actually cares about making you happy rather than a doctor who is just trying to make money. All I can do now is write this review and contact a lawyer -- You on the other hand have a chance to prevent a giant mess by going to someone else!!! It was that bad!!!! Dr. Barnett gets a POSITIVE 5 star review. Don't gamble on a doctor. Very happy with DR. BARNETT & Alpine Plastic Surgery staff. I had won a Auction for lip filler. After I purchased I procrastinated scheduling a appointment for the next 8 months fearful of the quality. finally scheduled appointment and asking myself, why didn't I come here earlier. Staff & Doctor made me feel very comfortable with their professionalism. I had lip injections at another chain on a prior occasion. It was so painful at other location plus my lips were swollen for over a week. ALPINE PLASTIC SURGERY doctor BARNETT is highly trained to used appropriate needles causing minimal pain and swelling. Also prescribed steroid for limited swelling, this is a benefit to actually going to a doctor ‍ instead of Beauty spa chains. I was able to go to work the next day. Highly recommend !!!!!! read more

I did a ton of research on my procedure and after asking multiple professionals ended up booking with Dr. Barnett. I am sooo glad I did. The staff is amazing, he answered all my questions, and I am beyond happy with my results. Dr. Barnett is an absolute magician and perfectly contoured my tummy. I hoped that the reviews I had read on here were wrong but.. don't waste your time. After over a month of trying to get my surgery scheduled I finally hired a new doctor who's office would actually answer my calls. The only phone call that was ever returned to me was the voicemail that I left telling them that if they wanted me to pay my bill for my consultation to call me. They never answered another call or email after that. Dr Barnett actually seemed like an incredible doctor, its just sad that his staff is so awful. if I could rate 0 stars I would. This review is in regards to Dr. Barnett. I had a breast augmentation when I was 20 years old. I had the surgery done one year ago. Here's the first mistake: my incision is about, 2 1/2 inches long. maybe longer. I've never measured it. When it should be way, way smaller. He cut a lot of nerves because I don't have feeling in them anymore. zero. Once my surgery was done, I never saw the doctor again. He never came to my follow up appointments to see how I was doing or anything. Also, he told me to go bigger than I originally wanted to, saying that they would look better than the smaller ones. and now I don't feel comfortable with them. They're too big. I don't even care about the money that I spent on them, I care that I lost 100% feeling in my breasts. I will never get that back. That is what makes me so upset and sad about the whole thing. Anyway, if I can help the next person from making the same mistake I did, that would be great. When I had my consultation, he was so charming and sweet and I thought I knew that this was the right doctor. So don't let his personality make this huge decision for you. I wish I didn't. read more

Don't believe everything you read! Dr. Barnett is AMAZING. He and his staff genuinely care about their clients. I had my first augmentation done in 2004 and my second in 2013. I would not go to anyone else. I do not like doctors AT ALL, and Dr. Barnett is patient, attentive and caring. His staff knows me by name and always make me feel like a friend - not just a number. I went here for a consultation and to get more information about getting breast implants. When I got there I waited about 20 minutes for my appointment. Annoying!When I saw the doctor it was pretty quick and he seemed rushed. He had his blonde, plastic looking nurse come in and give me prices after our short consult. I felt uncomfortable and pressured by her. The prices were average. Maybe a bit higher than average. I went to Dr. Kjar in Bountiful for a consult a few days later. What a difference! Total opposite of the staff at Alpine. They were professional, gave me the info I wanted and made me feel totally comfortable. Side note: Dr. Barnett has a tattooed wedding ring. Yuck! read more

If you are unhappy with any result he will do whatever it take to make you happy - at no charge. His staff was always available by phone and actually came to my house twice for post operative care. I am thinking about posting a blog about my ENTIRE experience with Dr. Barnett... including all the little details. Until then, here is an extremely condensed version of my experiece: Dr. Barnett completed my initial breast augmentation surgery in April 2012. I immediately knew something was very wrong, right after waking up out of anesthesia. My implants were extremely wide apart and very high on my chest. ( I cried for a couple hours). No only that, but instead of having the tell tale "boob job bowling balls" on my chest , my chest was very flat and tight. Literally, NO ONE could tell I got breast implants. I literally couldn't pinch the skin on my chest for about 6 months because my implants were so tight and compact in my chest. I was charmed by Dr. Barnett and his nursing staff (Alisa Wright) that over time, my implants would "descend" and "soften up" until I achieved the natural and desired look I had wanted. Needless to say, I waited TWO WHOLE YEARS and that never happened. At my follow up appointments, Dr. Barnett told me I was "progressing beautifully" and that things were progressing as expected. Two years goe by and I still had the most awkward, far apart, wide breasts that I could not manually push or move at all. I could be running for my life, or jumping on a trampoline, and not feel the slightest bounce or movement of my implants. Cleavage? Forget about it. Over time, my chest muscles actually continued to pull my implants laterally until they now rest in my ARMPITS. Dr B agreed to cover my revision surgery. He explained that it was such a "minor" surgery, that I would not even need general anesthesia. So I agreed to a local sedation type anesthesia. Little did I know at the time, but Dr B was actually saving his office a LOT of money by using this type of anesthesia instead of General Anesthesia, as local anesthesia does not require an expensive anesthesiologist. I had a revision surgery in March of 2014. Guess what happened? Well I actually WOKE UP IN THE MIDDLE OF MY OWN SURGERY! At one point I felt the knife inside my chest cavity as he was expanding my breast implant pockets. I cried out in pain and soon after, the surgery was wrapped up. I stayed awake during the remainder of the surgery. Do to my lack of anesthetic, the surgery was completed prematurely and my pockets were not made larger for my implants as I was promised. My revision surgery failed, and my breasts are still very unmoveable in my chest, very high and very far apart. Basically long story short: almost 3 years later, and I have to pay a ddifferent plastic surgeon to FIX the two surgeries that Dr. Barnett botched. I live out of state (Alaska) and Dr. Barnett refuses to talk to me over the phone, and refuses to respond to any of my emails. I can't talk to him in any way. The nurse director (Alisa Wright) has been nothing but rude - she NEVER returns any of my phone calls, can't answer half of my questions, and doesn't respond to half of my emails. My request for a refund has been denied. Dr. Barnett has actually agreed (via Alisa ) to cover a third surgery under general anesthesia to correct my implants for a third time. That tells you something, if the surgeon admits that he didn't make the breast pockets large enough and is willing to do another surgery. I am not risking another surgery with Dr Barnett. He is by far the worst surgeon in Salt Lake. I have had the worst experience with Alpine Plastic Surgery. I have to come up with the money to pay for an entirely new breast aug at a different surgeon, go through surgery yet a third time, just because Dr. Barnett botched mine. Please DO NOT ignore these reviews! DO NOT GO TO DR BARNETT AT ALPINE PLASTIC SURGERY!! read more

To whom it may concern, for those bad reviews Dr. Barnett has been the best surgeon I've gone to. He has done surgery on me sense I was 22 and now 45 and I have never had one ounce of problems. They have always returned my phone calls when any problems have arised and have been very attentive to all my needs. His staff has always made me feel very welcomed, and I have never felt like I was a burden or unwelcomed. He is an amazing doctor and I highly recommend going to him. I have to say that I was very shocked to read some of the reviews on here. When I went to Alpine plastic surgery I had a very good consultation and I received very good information on my procedures and the expected outcome. I was very impressed with Alissa and the Dr. And for someone to criticize the Dr. Barnett for having a wedding ring tattooed on his finger is Ludacris to me. He is in a profession wear he can not wear jewelry, so it is admirable to me for him to have it tattooed on to show his devotion to his spouse. This is my 2nd surgery going to Dr. Barnett and I will always choose him for my surgery needs. I did not feel at all pressured into anything and Alissa has always made sure to call me back and ask if I have any questions or concerns. I love this place and these people read more

I would NOT recommend Dr. Barnett. I am still in the process of getting estimates from other plastic surgeons and based on their prices may just live with botched job Dr Barnett did. I asked him to do a breast reduction on my right breast. My breasts were uneven due to Breast cancer. Once completed the reduced breast was mis-shapen, the aerola was and is twice the size of the left one. I have gone back once for correction and his correction added a new scar under my breast and the aerola is still huge and not even close to a circle. Very frustrated and sad that I am actually worse off than I was before I went in. read more
