This year I could see the inside of the trees looked dead.... I check every tree on the lot. I am very particular about my tree. They all looked dead inside. My only thought was, maybe we didn't have that much rain this year. No I do not believe that was the case. I believe these trees were cut long ago! The tree has no smell what so ever and when I brought it in to the house, it has not sucked up 1 ounce of water. It has been in my house for a week now and I have added no water to the stand! That is wrong and not the sign of a tree that was still fresh. I am soooo disappointed in Olmsted. I save all year so that I can buy a freshly cut tree that I can enjoy for my Christmas holiday. There was hot chocolate, coffee, and a huge bonfire to warm us up from the cold. Plus yummy treats to munch on. The Farm itself was gorgeous with a huge selection of trees. Found a huge tree for my mom and a smaller tree for myself. Then afterwards they bound the trees for us and help us load them onto the car. I cannot express enough how wonderfully welcoming and helpful everyone was! I feel like we made new friends. We will definitely be coming back next year.
