They said we dented the vehicle, another dig that could not be seen in a dark parking structure, which was more than likely there prior to our renting the vehicle. We filled the tank up beyond the "F" mark on the gas tank indicator, but they said it was below full and forced another 150 peso's into the take. Equivenlent to $8 and less than a gallon of gas. Remember; Mexico charges by the Litre for gas, not Gallon. Their website says they are honest, ethical, etc, but trust me; this is not true. Stay away from the Alpro Rent A Car. Stick with the car rentals companies in the airport if all possible. Companies like Hertz, Enterprise or any other American rental car service, because if any issues arises, you can communicate with the agency when arriving back into the States. Unfortunately we travelled into Mexico for Easter Week and larger Trucks and Vans were not available at the airport, so we had to reach out to Alpro. This company will rip you off and it shows in their body language, lack of character and lack of eye contact or forced eye contact. Don't create a problem for yourselves. It's not worth your time and money dealing with this company.
Gente. Si usa este servicio, corre un gran riesgo de que lo engañen, especialmente si son estadounidenses u otros extranjeros que visitan Guadalajara o las áreas circundantes. Alquilamos una furgoneta y cuando Alpro trajo el automóvil al aeropuerto de GDL, se realizó una inspección en el área más oscura del garaje del aeropuerto. Aunque grabamos en video toda la furgoneta por dentro y por fuera, ciertas hendiduras y golpes en el parabrisas no se notan con tanta luz. Al devolver los vehículos 7 días después, se hizo evidente sobre el lenguaje corporal y la falta de contacto visual, los 2 empleados de Alpro se encontraban en modo de deshonestidad total. Resultado final y 2 días después, declararon que dañamos el parabrisas (un tamaño del tamaño de la punta de plomo en un lápiz. Dijeron que dañamos el vehículo, otra excavación que no se podía ver en una estructura de estacionamiento oscura, que era más probablemente allí antes de que rentáramos el vehículo.
