I've been Renting for over 5 years here and their amazing customer service + great prices is what makes me keep coming back as a customer! Their are no hidden fees, they get straight to the point on insurance coverages ( you as the customer and driver should know when you need or don't ) they still present any additional needs prior to leaving with the rental. 1 of the if not the biggest perk me renting from here is that they arrive to airport and pick you up, additional on your wack back they shuttle you back to airport during your return. Last November my family spent the Thabksgiving week in Guadalajara and we wanted wheels to get around so we could try all the fabulous places to eat and see... We used YouTube to see what other were recommending for rental places and we'll they came highly I want to say 9 out 10 posters so we gave them a try... from the first call and reservation they were Suoer Helpful and professional... The rental place is a few miles from the airport which allows them to be lower priced than any of the airport rentals. After we left customs there was someone to great us with a name placard and actually picked us up in the car we were to rent. When we arrived to the rental office it's was Mayne 7 minutes to sign some papers and run the card totally painless and like I said before Professional and Helpful... Seven days later we returned the car and they dropped us back off at the airport did I mention they are suoer professional and helpful Don't waste your time with other rental places with hidden fees and outrageous prices... Absurd customer service and false/misleading advertisement at the León Guanajuato office. 3 weeks prior to my trip I reserved an SUV with a zero deductible "full protection" insurance package. Veico website states that with a downpayment of $3,598 MXN (just under $200 US) my rental would be secured/guaranteed. This is what separates them from the competition. I went ahead and paid it accordingly. A day before my arrival, I received a phone call confirming my rental and all seemed to be in order. The day of my arrival I called them to pick us up and they told me that there was no vehicle for me at all....she had no real explanation and that she was sorry and on and on.... meanwhile, I was with my family outside the Airport without a ride, which I had planned way in advance to prevent this exact scenario. I spent the next 1.5 hrs shopping around the Airport for a car rental company that would have a vehicle for my needs and ended up renting with Avis whom provided excellent customer service! My downpayment was returned by Veico. Needless to say, I will not be using Veico again and discourage all my friends and family members from doing so as well. read more

This is an update to my 5 star review a year ago. I had to drop a star (down to 4) because in Puerto Vallarta Veico is using a "subcontractor" called "America car rental". So the usual service is not as good. But they do still follow the same price structure which is the most important thing. No high pressure "add on insurances or fees". And this is why I will still recommend AND USE Veico for all my trips. read more

Best car rental I've ever experienced! A super nice, bilingual agent picked us up at the airport in the actual rental car I reserved, which was awesome because not only did I get to the see and ride in the rental right away, I also didn't have to navigate out of the Guadalajara airport. He drove us to their office, did a visual inspection around the car, I signed paperwork, and my family was off to explore in a newish, sleek, clean, comfy SUV. Ordered online the night before and called them to provide my flight number. Got picked up at the airport by an English speaking representative with a sign that had my name on it. Arrived a few minutes later at their nearby storefront (after a quick fill up) with our paperwork and car ready! No high pressure up sell, super nice and helpful representative! Just had to sign and present the license for my wife and I to drive. The car ran well and was great on gas (Nissan Versa). Returned it without a hitch! The manager even refunded my car seat rental because it wasn't ready on arrival! Not expected, but says a lot about their business ethics! Within two hours, no one picked up the call. No answer. I guess they were out of cars....employees did not pick up. First time reviews did not work for me. We had to go to Sayulita (Nayarit) for a few days. Flights into Puerto Vallarta were ridiculously expensive so we flew to Guadalajara instead and drove to Nayarit. (The toll road is excellent). I reserved the vehicle on line and received an email confirmation. Then the day before our rental I got a phone call to confirm. We were met at the airport by a Veico associate, taken to the office to complete the paperwork (30 minutes) and were on our way. Service was fantastic, vehicle in immaculate condition. Again on return, a quick check of the vehicle and we were driven to the GDL terminal. Could not have been happier. Very good service and upfront pricing. Reserved a vehicle online a day or two prior to flying to Guadalajara. The Veico rep picked us up at the airport, he was waiting for us as we walked out of arrival gate. Drove us to Veico's location, which is just a few miles from the airport. Very straightforward process. Like at any rental place, taking photos/video of the car when renting is highly recommended. We drove all over Guadalajara, Chápala, Tequila, etc. We returned the car with a full tank of gas, as required. Then the Veico rep drove us to the airport. Super easy.
