I was met promptly coming through the door and they answered all of my questions. My appliance was delivered within 2 days. Delivery was quick and I saved on a service fee by having both my seal and the stove done at the same time. My delivery person was nice. He came in and got the job done. I haven't gotten a chance to use my stove yet but everything seems to be working. The delivery person cleaned up after himself on the way out and took my old unit with him which I did pay for. Their delivery prices were very reasonable. Every unit on their floor appears to come with a warranty which I really liked. Most of their items are used/refurbished/open box items so I felt a lot more confident purchasing knowing there was a warranty and the items had been inspected.

Then she calls 'somewhere', and eventually a sales rep comes out, but the whole time you're wondering 'wth?' because there are no other people in the whole building. Weird. No background music, no literature laying around. etc. Finally a sales rep comes out from some hidden place, and he was very nice, friendly, knowledgeable and professional, but was unable to fully answer all of our questions. When we called him later on his cell phone there was no voice mailbox available, so we thought that was wierd too. Eventually we did purchase what we were looking for, but it has not been delivered yet, sooooooo, the final jury is still out. We don't feel very attached, but we are keeping our fingers crossed that everything works out as we have been assured.

Now my senior friend bought a top of the line GE washer dryer and after just barely 3 years the washer will not empty and goes out of line way to easy, The service man explained replacing the circuit board would cost more than buying a new washer....If you look at the reviews a ton of other people are having to replace this washer after 2-3 years....that is ridicules . It took me two visits to ensure the dimensions would work with the cabinets, which required him to cancel out the first order before payment, then input everything again on our second visit. Never once did he did make me feel like we were an in inconvenience. He took his time to double and triple check everything and thoroughly explained their store policies and available warranties. We were initially going to purchase at Home Depot but I'm glad we decided to shop outside of a box store. The personalized attention and knowledge at this store made it worth it for us.

When I figured this out I was told I had to pay repair fee. Crazy as they installed it wring. I was told you only get 48 hours to report something wrong. Two techs stopped by later that afternoon to check it out and start the required de-icing procedure. We turned off both the fridge and the freezer and let the unit de-ice over the weekend with all three doors open and the inside back wall and fan removed. The techs called and came out Monday am to verify the unit was now cooling properly, put the unit back together, and explain how to limit the recurrence of icing. They completed the job successfully in less than 30 minutes. We happily paid the bill of $60 to the knowledgeable, courteous, and professional young men who represented their company admirably. We would definitely call Benson Refrigeration & Appliance again if we need to and recommend their services without reservation.

So today the machine was loaded up and taken back to the store. The owner now says they dint do refunds even on faulty appliances. I guess now , due to their horrible le business practices and horrible customer service, we will see you in small claims court fir the cost of a washing machine AND the cost to clean up the flood in the house. Something that could have been handled with a simple call back.
