My go to spot for dry cleaning, as it's super close and convenient. Plus plenty of parking because I think this is the only business open in the shopping center. The woman running the place isn't the friendliest. Brusque would be the best way to describe her, but it's not rude either. A little lacking in typical customer service skills. She does say 'You're welcome', etc. Typically clothes are done within 3 days, pick up after 3PM. Always done on time so far. You either need your ticket for pickup or use your phone number. If you're a new customer, that's the first thing she needs from you. Affordable and comparable at $5.50 a dress shirt. read more

This place is a RIP-OFF. They wanted to charge me $60 for a simple, straight hem (no lining) on a rayon summer dress. In addition, the owner was very rude. No problem because I was able to go right down the street to Classic Cleaners who was not only friendly and professional but charged me $20 for the same exact alteration. read more

Came here for an alteration. The woman was so awful to me I left in the middle of the appointment. I advised her that she was rude and I would never return. I can't speak to the quality of their work, but I'm certainly not going to give them another chance to make a first impression. There are other, higher-rated businesses in town providing similar services, and I will be happy to patronize them instead. read more

After leaving Classic Cleaners because of their disastrous cleaning, which managed to lose buttons from one out of every three shirts I gave them, I switched to Al's and was initially very pleasantly surprised. The prices are very good and the shirts come back clean and nicely pressed and often a day early. Why the two star rating? Again, buttons. Al's loses buttons much less frequently than Classic - I've only had two lost in the approximately five months I've been a customer - but when they do, they refuse to replace them. Today, when I pointed out that a button was missing from my shirt, the proprietor informed me that the cleaning service was not responsible for lost buttons and that if I complained again, I should find another cleaning service. I find this kind of attitude completely unacceptable. A cleaning service is paid to clean a garment. If the garment is damaged in the process of cleaning, the cleaning service should repair the garment or refund its value to its owner. It baffles me to think that the owners would rather lose my business than replace the odd button which they themselves have torn off in the process of laundering my shirts, but apparently that is the attitude here. I had been going to get my dress shirts for work washed for about a few months. Then they lost one of my shirts and tried to give me another shirt that was not mine. I told them it wasn't mine and they told me to wait another week to see if someone they accidentally gave it to would bring it back, but no one ever did, and they ended up giving me 20 bucks, which I considered a fair resolution, seeing as I paid at least $35 for the shirt, and it was a year old. I have since gone back to the cleaner regularly. But now I am not going ever again. On two separate occasions I have had a small food stain on the shirt. When I go to pick it up, they refuse to wash the shirt again, saying all they can do is try to dry clean it and charge me for it (dry clean = 5 bucks, regular wash = 1.60). I have since stopped going there and gone to another cleaner who gets out the stains using the regular wash and charges 1.60.. Thanks Al's cleaners, I tried to work with you but you just lost a very loyal customer. read more
