Having had been in the landscaping business for almost 30 years has caused me to be hypercritical when dealing with the service business. I used Al's Roofing years ago for a smaller project and was impressed with the quality of materials and labor. I had a roof satellite dish removed but the service left the holes. Al came out, sealed the holes at no charge. The price for installing my new roof was very reasonable, the installation was done in a professional manner including a spotless cleanup. I asked if they would clean my roof windows (7 roof windows), which were very difficult for me to access and Al was more than willing, at no extra charge. I had a bad roof job done 18 months ago and had to redo my roof. They came for a quote, explained what need to be done and price (that was a very fair one considering that we would have to start roof from scratch again - I got few quotes before, all said same thing, prices were similar, but their personalities made a difference, so they got the job). They came for the job on time, adorable staff, very polite, did a great job (I step out from time to time and they had no problem explaining what they were doing and why they were doing it). Really disappointed in Al. Called him for gutter cleaning. told me he would be here the following week. Didn't show. Called him again and said he was sorry he would come the following week for sure and to call him Friday and he would give me an idea of the day he was coming. Called him on Friday, he answered and said he would call me back in 20 minutes and never heard from him again. Used him in the past and he was dependable. Not now. Blamed the weather and I get it but he never called me back. Not good business practice. read more

From day one of signing the contract to begin the work throughout the entire project, the team was very communicative, accommodating, flexible and did a very thorough job. I am extremely pleased with the end result. Of course, there were delays (covid, material availability, weather, other priorities) and minor setbacks, but that must be expected with construction projects. I had my 10×14 shed roof replaced by Al's. They were prompt to return my call and come out for an estimate. They came to do the work and worked even though there was some rain.
