I am absolutely blown away by how incredible the food quality is in this little known place. Not touristy or Chain quality, it's the place to go for absolutely homemade everything. I took my Grandkids there, and after tasting their Huge Buffalo Wings, Stinger Sub, and Cheese Pepperoni/Bacon Pizza they immediately started talking about "Next Time!" I brought my son the next visit, and the Beef on Weck Pizza was REAL smoked Beef on a salty Weck Crust. The "sauce" was Au Ju. Delicious. The pizza is decent but every time I have gone to pick up food from there they are NEVER on time and always have the worst attitude. I would recommend adding atleast 10 minutes to the time they tell you it will be ready and also be prepared to be spoken to in a nasty and degrading tone read more

I'm camping at Letchworth State Park, and there's a sign for Al's as soon as you exit the park. I had to finally stop in yesterday and try a pizza. Super cheesy, not too saucy (if you like it saucy, you can ask for extra), pepperoni was crisped perfectly, and the party slices were great. There are also a few outside triangle slices that are almost like a bread stick, it's hard to describe, but it tasted great and was great to dip in bleu cheese. There's an ATM machine inside, as they are cash only. So if you order via phone, make sure you have cash on you if you don't want to take money out there. Wasn't an issue for me, I always pay with debit, and I didn't mind paying the ATM fee to help them out. They're a small local business with overhead, it's also very hard to get food delivered to restaurants and what not down here, I was very impressed with how large of a menu they had. Always order here before heading into the park. Fresh bread and good subs or pizza. My order took 15 min and a large sub can feed 2 people easily. They have a lot on their menu and cookies too! Me and my family of 5 tried to stop and get dinner on our way home from Letchworth. We live an hour from Letchworth. I asked the lady if we could eat in the building as I saw 3 spaced out tables. She said there's a family at one and we haven't cleaned the other ones. One would think she would say she was going to clean it but no...just silence and she went back to doing something else. You know, this isn't a drive by. We were vacationing for a few days with extended family. 12 people, ranging from 7 to 69, and we were hungry. Pizza was VERY good! Lots of cheese, lots of flavor. The crust had butter drizzle too, which was a nice touch. And they cut it in smaller pieces, in a grid. so we made it last a little longer. We also had wings, a burger, and a salad. My parents aren't the most critical consumers of restaurant food, and they liked the burger and salad. The wings were good, though. The only reason I don't give it a five is that the seating area wasn't very appealing. Kind of dark, kind of hot. One couple sitting there. However, if I transition to seeing Al's as a take out place, then it hits the mark. Took about 30 minutes for the order, but it was worth it. Would definitely come back if I'm in the area. read more

We ordered a large cheese pie with meatballs and pepperoni. The sauce was delicious! The pie was nice and fresh with the perfect amount of crunch. I don't know where the other reviewers were eating, but I just got a sub from this dive and it was terrible. Stale bread roll of the mass produced frozen variety. Not even a nice made in house roll. Really? I ordered a CAPICOLA sub. I am so sick and tired of pizza places slapping chopped and formed "spicy ham" on a sub and calling it CAPICOLA. The garbage meat on my sub was NOT capicola. Change the name on the menu. Then to make matters worse the sub had less meat than you get at subway. It was pathetic. This was my first and last time eating at this place. The young man at the counter was rude to the customers ahead of me and then mocked them when they left. Referring to customers as "old and stupid" is not appropriate behavior. Not impressed at all. Lousy sub. Fake meat. Bad service. Keep driving. read more

The chicken finger pizza is legendary here! Everyone I know loves this place because of that. Any of their pizza is good, I love the sweet sauce. I never get anything besides pizza here. I'm not the biggest fan of the subs, the appetizers are pricey and nothing to write home about, but the chicken finger pizza is a 5/5!!! read more

Tried calling at 925 for a sub on a night closing was at 10 ..... no one answered, not good for a place with such good reviews :(

Unfortunately this place only receives 1/5 stars for the following reasons: the staff were working their tails off trying to fulfill orders and the food that we never received after an hour wait did smell amazing. This place would get zero stars if it wasn't for their great employees since the manager April was incredible rude. Upon asking for a refund for a $75 bill after waiting an hour for no amount of food to arrive at our table the manager argued with us in regards to a refund. We feel bad for the staff as the manager is not providing proper management to her staff by not overseeing her business on a busy Saturday night. She left her poor staff with no help and this is why we cannot recommend this place. If you are looking for a good pizza place that is managed properly try down the road in Perry NY at Daryl's Pizzeria. read more
