I have always loved pizza Paul's they have great pizza and wings. but lately they have been going downhill had a problem with not having enough sauce on the wings. The past couple times I have ordered from the Geneseo store and have specifically asked for the wings to be saucy and extra sauce. I get them and they are barely coated. In the past, I have never had a problem with any of their food, but it seems more and more at the Geneseo store that they either don't care. Or they're just slipping if I'm paying what I pay for wings in getting this poor quality I'm better off making them at home and spending less money. They really need to step their game up again needless to say this will be the last time. I'm ordering wings from them and I'm considering taking my entire business elsewhere. read more

Ordered a pizza and boneless wings on Halloween and I guess I should have opened the wings before leaving. I got home to find that they were completely burnt and not edible. An absolute waste of money and of course they were thrown out. I did try a bite of one as it killed me to waste money thinking maybe they weren't that bad, but they were completely burnt tasting, absolutely horrible. Yooooo.... This is might be my favorite pizza place to eat at & order. I ordered pepperoni Pizza came out sooo fresh, first bite that went mind blown, & finished one slice. Wow. Super delicious! I got hired here to watch the parlor as a security director. I was stationed in a claustrophobic borderline janitorial closet packed to the brim with high tech security equipment. (FBI/CIA aesthetic) I was hired temporarily only five nights. I was not presented with the fact there happens to be an evil robotic bear with a nice hat staying and entertaining within this establishment. I had signed a contract which required me to return the entire 5 nights. My shifts were 6 hours long from 12am - 6am, not a single amount of coffee, five hour energy, or monster peach mango punch could have prepared my sacred soul for what was about to go down in this haunted chophouse. If ANYBODY is looking for a security job, trust me this is NOT the one. 10/10 would work here again great employers who called to check on the shop once a night, and amazing pay. read more

Pizza is good ambiance is trash there were little rascals outside the windows punching a dead bird and playing with it using their blind friends walking stick. Service was fantastic!! The employees are very kind and quick with the food. But the dead birds and kids really just set a bad tone for the meal. Thank goodness for Pizza Paul's. We had a wedding on a Sunday with a slew of out if town folks who were hungry! No place said they would deliver, all but Pizza Paul's said they were too close to closing time. After talking to them a bit and offering a credit card they realized I was on the up n up. I guess they get many a prank call or order n no show from the college. They whipped up up some sheet pizzas, threw in what hadn't been picked up by no shows and called it a night. I will never forgot how horrendous this pizza was. Was finished with work and dying for a good slice to tie me over. I think that slice of cheese pizza went into the garbage faster than it went into my mouth. Crust was bad, dough was dry and thick and dense, the sauce was brutal, the cheese pizza made me wish food never had texture or flavor, not even hot even though it was quiet in there. Public schools don't let me grade lower than a 55 but I will have to get an exception and give this a 20: the directions were followed but the objective was not met. read more

And of course yelp came through and showed me the light. No complaints from me here nothing but foodie goodness in my belly ! Ordered only a simple turkey sub and was blown away like a tumble weed in the desert! The sub rolls are amazing, the meat was stacked like a hustlers bank roll. It was delicious. And the price was low... Get low get low to the window to the wall low. Pizza Pauls is a Geneseo staple. You don't go there for the pizza (go to Mias for that)--you go there for the Paul's balls. What are Paul's balls, you ask? Paul's balls are deep fried pizza dough covered in cheese or whatever toppings you choose (they have sweet ones with jam, but no one ever orders those). They are like cheesy garlic bread but better. I sayyyy better, but at the same time I also mean worse...do be careful when eating Pauls balls as they are full of oil and you will feel incredibly sick if you have more than two. In a college town you need good drunk food and this is exactly that. All that dough will help keep you from being hungover the next day if you have them late at night after a night of going out. I will attest that Pauls balls probably saved my life during the senior bar crawl back in 2014. I broke my own rule and ate more than two (I ate four). I don't really remember that night, as I drank my own body weight in alcohol, buuuuut I wasn't at all hungover the next day and I attribute that to the Paul's balls. read more

Ordered wings (mild) and garlic pizza. Told 20-25 minutes. Back in the hotel at 25 minutes! The wings are very crispy, not huge but excellent. The have a slight bite. Very good. Pizza is thicker crust and I prefer thinner but really good flavor - garlic etc was my choice. I am hungry but I think they would be excellent anyway. Leave a big tip, they are worth it. Remember this is a pizza joint so don't get carried away with expecting fancy pizza. read more

I've been ordering from Pizza Paul's since I first came to Geneseo in 1993. If you're married to the NYC style of pizza, this might not be for you. I tend to like a little more dough and flavor in my crust though. They also know their specialty pizzas. Buffalo chicken style pizza DOES NOT GET RED SAUCE. Thank God they understand that here. Review: The people in the store were kind and the food came fast, however this pizza was incredibly doughy, which would be fine if there was enough cheese and sauce to compensate for the excess dough but there wasn't. The wings were fine, I would not purchase again for that price however because you could get better wings at the nearby Wegmans or Walmart for less. I brought a girl here once and she almost hooked up with me, but then her boyfriend came (he was a GDI LOL) You guys know i'm a pizza guy, so when I say this place has good pizza, you know i'm not jonesing you. Great pizza! When you move out of the area you will soon realize that this is one place that you will miss like crazy. The Quad and Subzones are absolutely phenomenal and the Subzone is a great bang for your buck. Paul's Balls (dough with garlic cheese) are great too. Always a good place to go grab pizza, whether it is lunch, dinner, or late night drunk hungers. Pizza Paul's is probably where I sure the most on Main. Ironically enough, I would probably give it a low rating if I had to review just the pizza. It might be a downstate opinion, but Mia's pizza is so much better. Paul's crust is way too thick. Everything else on the menu is amazing! I love the subzone and get it all the time. This place is the best pizza place in Geneseo. Unlike the students that keep lying and giving me wrong change back at Mia's, these people give me a nice vibe and has been very nice to me while I've been here in Geneseo. It's food here is not bad, although sometimes when you go when they're busy, they may serve you cold pizza. However, when I go there and I have time, I'd always go pick up a Subzone. It's soooo amazing. Although it's pricier than a slice of pizza, it's worth it...and from what I've seen, most people that have come to Geneseo have never even tried it. If they want to compare the two pizza stores on main street, they should really eat this before making their decision. The people are nice here, and the "family" that works here seems very nice. This place is disgusting they do not know how to cook chicken. It was so raw i thought i was going to get salmonella, I asked for the simplest instructions and they could not do it. Pizza Pauls is hands-down my favorite pizza place in Geneseo. Warm thick crust, great sauce. Theresa is awesome and super friendly. Sometimes there are specialty pizzas that are worth a try- the chicken mac and cheese is awsome! It sounds weird but it is worth a try. This was basically where I always had lunch during junior year of college. The pizzas were pretty decent here, with interesting toppings that change every week or so. Sometimes, I'd add a Paul Ball or two on top of my pizza order, if they were fresh and piping hot. How crisp and hot these pizzas/balls were depended on when you ordered though, so it's kind of frustrating when you get a cruddy pizza/ball. Most of the time, I just came here as soon as lunchtime hit so that I'd get that first slice :) Subzones, however, are where it's really at. It's essentially like a pizza and a sandwich fused together in one plate, cooked fresh when you order it! That puts it steps above any pizza slice, and I'd have that every so often after a tough day at school. The people who worked here were nice and friendly, and the place was quaint and had a watercooler for free water plus TV to watch so you can relax a bit as they made your order. I can't say anything bad about this place, I pretty much thrived on their food every lunchtime during junior year! read more

Honestly, I'm amazed this place hasn't been shut down by the health department. It is FILTHY. I went to pizza paul's because I'm new to Geneseo and wanted to see if it was a good place to grab dinner on occasion. I was hesitant at first because the place looked like it hadn't been dusted in years but I ordered pizza and boneless wings anyway. The pizza sucked (I've had Red Baron pizza better than it) and the wings were not boneless and took half an hour to make. I returned the wings and got boneless wings...ten minutes later. Yeah, they were raw. Didn't even bother trying to get a refund as I was pretty confident the cashier had no idea how to refund a credit card purchase. I'm never coming back. read more
