Like actual little love notes telling you why you need to read something. It's way more fun than just reading the synopsis and it feels personal, and thoughtful. They also sell, adorable book accessories, kids' toys, and other cute knick knacks. There's even a small sale section, reasonably priced books, and some signed copies that are clearly marked. It's right by downtown, so super convenient, but definitely try to get there early because parking garages and street spots can fill up fast on weekends. I was pleasantly surprised to find that there were stacks and stacks of records that had not been gone through hundreds of times and all of the good titles weeded out. I found some great gems to add to my collection. There were plenty that I could not get to on the bottoms of bookshelves blocked in with newly added art and I still walked away with many hard to find titles in great shape. I wish I had more time to spend as I would have left with more. I even left a Bowie record behind accidentally and Mark went out of his way to ship it back to Atlanta for me. Michael Mirdad is such a skilled speaker he kept me and my friends' attention for over 6 hours - and that was after ther service we just attended! Added bonus was their store where we bought books, jewelry and other items. I was in area last week with my daughter and went to nearby stores- we left feeling like they were trying to take advantage of us and bought nothing. Here- however we bought items at a good price and no tax since they are a church! My friends mom just passed and our day hete was the best medicine we could of asked for- it was truly divine. I will go on Facebook and YouTube and follow the sermons now each Sunday, but if in area I highly recommend the service which starts off dancing to " Love Train"! I have been on a reading kick as of late. My wife and I were camping up in Prescott and took a day…read moreto explore downtown / historic Prescott. We stumbled upon this bookstore tucked back into one of the shopping areas. Sooooooo cool! It's quaint and it has that magical smell of old books and antiques without being musty. We explored every shelf here for quite some time and finally settled on this old murder / mystery book from 1931. Despite its age, it's in great condition. I picked up a lot of the old books and read some of their inscriptions which I love. To think what that book has seen in its lifetime and to think about the hands that at one point in time held the same spine that I am now holding... it's remarkable to me. There were a lot of awesome gems in this bookstore and I wish we could have stayed and explored a little longer! The shop is quaint, but it's very clean and very well-organized. It's not an antique shop with trinkets and knick-knacks thrown everywhere. It's definitely a hidden gem in Prescott and one I will definitely visit again! Highly recommended to my fellow Yelp'ers, bookworms and collectors!
