This is so many things in one place - a record store, a live music venue, a barber shop, a bar, a cafe, a ramen house, a restaurant... This, in itself, makes it pretty cool. Queen B is owned by musician Maynard James Keenan (lead singer for Tool, A Perfect Circle, and Puscifer) and his wife Jennifer, and that's neat to know. The record store has a wide selection of vinyls of specific genres. It's clean and inviting. You can listen to records if you'd like and they can ship to your home if needed. There is the famous Puscifer statue, where people from all around the world leave offerings. It's worth a visit. Attached to it is the cafe. I appreciate the opportunity to eat good breakfast food in the middle of the afternoon and my friend had the kimchi ramen, which was delicious too. We ate outside on the patio, which was serene. Average at best. The record store is hand selected by the owners wife. Appreciate the detail is it's only for the people really deep into alt metal/punk. The service in the record store is very poor, basically young kids getting paid to ignore you. Cafe side was about equal to the record store. Took me 30 minutes to get a coffee and a reheated pastry. This review is for the vinyl side of the cafe. I have no experience with the restaurant or cafe side of the business. I visited the vinyl store with my wife since it is the only one in the greater Cottonwood/Sedona/VOC area. Even though my wife and I are mostly alt/metal core listeners, my wife is also a big Swiftie and there are exclusive drops at record stores for Record Store Day. My issue is with the way customers are treated at this store. When my wife asked what drops were coming in this month, she received a very curt response from the girl at the front desk saying they are not allowed to discuss what is coming into the store. Weird, but okay. She asked my wife to tell her what she was looking for so she could contact her if they received it. When my wife told her it was a Taylor Swift album, she basically laughed in her face and said they would never carry Taylor Swift there, making my wife feel judged and stupid for even asking. It is unfortunate that this employee chose to not only judge my wife for her taste in music but also decided to be really rude about it. I get that the store has more of a metal/alt aesthetic and they are allowed to carry whatever they want, but treating customers like they are lesser for liking different music is just really dumb and in my opinion pretty against the art form entirely, especially when it comes to punk/metal/alt/goth genres. Customer service should not be hostile to the people walking through your door. We obviously will not be going back, which really sucks because as vinyl collectors we would love to support the business. Vinyl stores are so rare nowadays, but if they are going to judge you based on what you listen to and be crappy to your face about it, we do not want to be supporting this place anyway. I was going to go somewhere else but, I came here instead due to parking. Thank you parking gods! Great music, vibe, and bright and cheery inside and great patio. I sat at the bar, and watched them make so many coffee drinks. They all look amazing. I had a mimosa because duh it's Sunday. I ordered the avocado today ast and let me say, I'm a baker and this bread was chefs kiss. Great crumb and crust. The staff is great, they roast their own beans. The café is a hidden gem! We tried this for breakfast for the first time, and everything was delicious. They offer a variety of specialty teas and coffees. We had Butterscotch chai, which was great and unique. Try the Devi's Mess, an awesome combination of scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, cheddar cheese, and light grilled ciabatta bread. Great coffee spot that also has wine and cider. The staff was so sweet and amazing very attentive. Did get food. I had the meat quiche that was delicious. The breakfast sandwich my husband got and that looked amazing. Did not try it but definitely the presentation what's great. Great little hangout spot just cozy. Disappointing Service Experience! There were eight of us for breakfast and we were the only ones there when we arrived. I really wanted to like Queen B Vinyl -- the concept and space are great -- but the service was a letdown. It was slow, and the only server on this Thursday morning around 10:15 didn't seem very proactive. We waited far too long for basic things (coffee and drinks) without much acknowledgment. It did get busy but the experience would be so much better with more attentive and organized service. Now the good part / the food!! The bacon was hands down some of the best I've ever had -- thick, perfectly crisp, and full of flavor. What a cool find. I love vinyls and any chance I get to stop at a new one as a must unfortunately we'd already ate breakfast or this would've been a great place to check out for food as well. There are two separate entrances if you are eating or shopping for the vinyl. So be aware of that when walking in. Service was awesome and I was greeted right away when I walked in. Well I didn't converse with the employee long. He did seem very knowledgeable and all the music available in the shop. There seem to be a good mix of some locals as well as out-of-town visitors and inside while there if you have a guest by now and you're a lover of Maynard, this is your spot. You won't find your basic pop music here. Not knocking it, but this is definitely not the spot. I lucked out and found a great Soundgarden vinyl and even a Sinéad O'Connor oldie price were fair for the options. I'd actually been looking for this Soundgarden vinyl, but didn't want to order it online elsewhere. Shop was clean and well organized and I'll definitely be back on one of my next trips to Sedona or Cottonwood. If you're a fan of music it's a must. read more

We stayed in Clarkdale for two nights and stopped to have coffee here'. Coffee is awesome! Better than any hit coffee you get or some of the cafes in town. But literally all we had and the service was great they remembered us the 2nd day. They have an $8k water filtered system and that's probably why the coffee is so good! So no smell old fish here! We came in one night and just had drinks but saw the food others had ordered and it looked so good. So we came back for dinner. My husband got the Shoyu ramen and during the entire time he was eating it he just count saying, "this is so good, this is so good" He enjoyed the ramen and said he can't wait for another bowl. I came for the grilled cheese but they took it off the menu, I was disappointed, so I settled for the Ham Sammy Davis sandwich. It was really good, lots of flavor and the fries were delicious. Review of my experiences with the vinyl side of the business: I've made two purchases through their website. First one was for a limited variant release that arrived defective from manufacturing. Customer service was great and they replaced it promptly. My second order was for 3 vinyls. Two of what were supposed to be A Perfect Circle- Mer De Noms DDS 25th Anniversary Edition. Photo and description matched on the website, but the title was for the RSD release. When I received my order, I reached out to customer service to let them know that they're advertising the wrong item and to hopefully have a resolution to having received an item that I wasn't expecting. Ultimately, I would've been ok with keeping these variants, but was hoping for some sort of refund considering they were charging almost $10 more than every other website for the variant I received, but I never got any acknowledgement or response of any sort. I followed up again and nothing. It's been well over a month since I reached out. Crickets. Up until recently, they never changed the listing on their site either, but now it's gone. That's some crappy customer service on a blatant error on their end that could've had an easy resolution. read more

Cool little vinyl cafe - bright, vibrant outdoor seating w/ a modern and warm interior. First visit we had the meat quiche, Devil's Mess, a Cortado and an Apple Cidra (natural apple soda). The Meat Quiche - creamy, amazing crust, all ingredients cooked perfectly. It had spicy turkey sausage in it, and there's a veggie option as well. The 2nd day we had the APPLE TURNOVER - IT WAS HUGE. It had an awesome flaky, fluffy pastry crust. Like a giant gourmet toaster strudel! Complete with granny smiths from Merkin farm and a delectable icing. Definitely a highlight on the menu that seems like it doesn't get the shout out it deserves...It was $5 - get it!! Same filling used in their apple pie. We were told the savory ones are even better - prosciutto, Gruyère, leeks was the current one, but they rotate. Would be a great lunch option. This shop only opened last month, and while I haven't had the pleasure of checking out the vinyl shop while a band is playing, I was able to browse the vinyl and merch. They had a neat selection of varying musical styles, and even had a few new releases which was neat to see. On the cafe side, we got an avocado toast, fruit, and an earl grey latte. The folks serving us were incredibly friendly and I loved my breakfast. The ciabatta was soft and delicious, the avocado was buttery and the balsamic balanced it all perfectly. My tea latte was creamy and not too sweet, just lovely. I will be excited to go back and try more! read more

The nicest record shop a super fan can go to. I traveled 2000 miles to get to this store and I expected to be like, "stay cool Pete, if you see anyone you recognize, play it cool and NO eye contact.", yet when I arrived they greeted me and welcomed me to the store. I got to looking around and found the things I wanted. They didnt have the shirt I wanted and when I asked, the guy wasn't sure, but he asked everyone else if it was still available. Someone came from around back and told me they could press it and Id just have to wait. I felt relaxed. I looked around more, building my cart. Then at time of purchase, they added me to the rewards program and explained it all to me, human to human. They gave me lunch recommendations at the cafe, which was delicious. It was so enjoyable to be in a record shop where they don't look and treat you like a bother. Especially for a punk rock record shop owned by a performer who doesn't want you to take home dig memories of the experience, which tbh I get more enjoyment reminiscing to old photos than my conscious allows me to remember at will. But whatever, the joy and comfort Puscifer APC and Tool bring me cannot be underestimated by what the world has determined for us. I look forward to returning and seeing Carlos again, I have $2 loyalty burning hole in my pocket. Oh yeah and they have music acts. I got to see a metal show. A lil LOUD. But awesome nonetheless. Stopped by here on our way through Arizona. The record shop has a very well curated selection and some pretty funny merchandise. We then popped over to the coffee shop. I'm a simple man and the pour over black coffee was absolutely perfect. From there we started to have some fun. Mimosas and plenty of Mead. My god that mead is good. We also got breakfast here. My girlfriend is still talking about her breakfast sandwich days later. I also have to write a review for Frank at Barbifer. Frank gave me one of the best haircuts I've had in a long time.
