My daughter just joined a month ago and she's in the twinkle babies class only 2 yrs old and she loves to dance but I was a little worried about starting her so young, however she absolutely loves it!!! And the front desk receptionist is soo sweet and make me feel so welcome! My daughter enjoys her teacher and her class and I'm so glad she goes in and doesn't even say bye but when she comes out she wants to keep dancing and is so excited to show me her participation sticker. I'm so glad I decided to enroll her. I will def keep her enrolled. Love it.

The money she actually received but lied to families about. Shame on someone who calls themselves a Christian.

If you are interested in throwing your money away to dance camps and subpar intensives then this is the place for you. The studio owner took advantage of families during COVID and lied about never receiving federal bail out money. That was NOT true. She canceled her competitive season and continued to take our money to practice routines she never intended to compete. Her entire competitive program left and I have seen every single one flourish at their new studios. If you just want cute pictures and memories stick around. If your child has a passion for dance do them a favor and choose another studio.

My daughter started taking dance classes here a couple of months ago and absolutely loves it! She looks forward to it every time. The teachers are so friendly and we love being part of the ALDA family. They truly have a great team here and Gracie at the front desk is extremely helpful!

    2018 summer recital!

My daughter has been dancing with ALDA since she was 3! She loves all the instructors there we started with Miss. Julie and Mr.Tommy! She misses them! She has so much love for Miss.Rebecca, Miss.Tae and Miss.Jessica! She loves being on the spirit squad and being on the stage! Cant wait to find out what the theme is for our summer recital!

ALDA teaches confidence and strength on top of its techniques. attending-2 years. Rancho has great studios but we found our home at ALDA!

Finding one with quality instruction and great owner/operators like this is REALLY a rare gem! 1) From the front desk to the dance floor with GREAT instructors, this place is PROPERLY staffed! 2) The facility is beautiful, functional, and equipped. Classes are fully separated, sound systems are great, and they keep the studios nice and COOL even in the summer for all the hours you'll be sweating it out while you learn. 3) Class format and teaching style is second to none to get you to your goals fast, and learn more progressively, to build competence and confidence. 4) If you need to change before or after work, there are even ample restrooms (which are very clean) for the volume of customers they have before and after class. There's even a professional scheduling/enrollment/payment system for classes. What's the alternative to this place? Big name chains, you KNOW who they are. Cramped JUMBO single-studio room with 2-5 classes happening in the same room, packed over crowded floors you can't even move around on treating you like you're cattle, different genres of music shooting out of cheap floor speakers from all directions of people learning different material concurrently in the same room, sweating it out in 90 degree rooms where they frequently claim the air conditioning is broken to keep their utilities/overhead low. You can't make this stuff up folks lol. I've been to 4 separate studios in the Inland Empire in the last 5 years besides this place, and I SWEAR all of these things have been re-concurring themes in our community. Some were chains, some were not. Arthur Murray was born in 1895 and so were some of these places, that's all I'm going to say lol.

Great place to go if you like to social dance! I've had so much fun everytime that I've goneread more

Although I do not dance here anymore due to moving away, I have yet to find a dance studio comparable. Ever since my first class here, I've always felt welcome and accepted. Here, I built a family for three years. Not only are the instructors very talented themselves, but they truly care about you. Whether you are on their competition team or not, you'll still receive constructive criticism and tools that will allow you to improve. In my opinion, they do hip hop REALLY well. Everything from the choreography to the teachers, to the environment. In addition, their workshops are incredible, and if anyone has the chance to, they should attend. Every time I attend one, I am able to learn from dancers I've always looked up to. For example, Erica Klein, Taylor Hatala, and Sienna Lalau. They might not have been open, or competing as long as other studios, but it doesn't show. Shoutout for studio owners Rachel and Rowena for making me into the person I am today. Due to the recent virus, the physical studio has closed down. However, they are hosting online, LIVE classes that you can follow along with at home. So, now that most of us have nothing to do, definitely try tuning in to one of them!

I have debated writing this review for some time as I have never given someone less than 4 stars!…read moreHowever, I want to ensure same experience doesn't happen to other parents trying to find a dance home for their little one. Overall, the poor recent reviews hold true. The environment does not foster relationship building with students nor parents. I had my 8-year old daughter there briefly during Nutcracker season. I expected the performance to be grand being hosted at the Laugh factory and all to say it was extremely disappointing show - not due to students abilities but clear reflection on academy's skill set to develop and choreograph. On top of disappointing show, there was very little communication and engagement with staff and parents as I've experienced with other academies. When it was time to enroll in new semester, I was informed my daughter would be only allowed to do 1 class a week and not engage in that season performance due to bad behavior. When I asked for specific examples, I was given generic statements that kids were bitting and hitting during Nutcracker but nothing specific to my child. As a parent, I try to not assume my child is the best behaved. Of course I was shocked to hear this feedback, especially since I made it a point to ask each night after practices how my daughter did and was never informed of such egregious behavior. When I reached out to Gabby to request a meeting to discuss further and find a solution based approach that would help my child grow not hinder her, I was given the run around. My daughter had cried and not enjoyed dancing while she was at this school because she stated the teachers were mean and did not listen to her. I initially assumed her feelings were just nervousness and acclimating to new things and tried to encourage her to just give it time. Even before shutting down the feedback of the poor behaviors Gabby stated, I asked her school teachers, soccer coach and STEM teacher who've known her since kindergarten if she's ever showed that behavior and her teachers were shocked to hear that is something she would do. I attempted to advocate, and was willing to pay extra, for my daughter to have additional classes to help her improve as she was also not moved up to the next level. After not receiving responses and deflection from Gabby, we decided to enroll in a different studio better equipped at understanding, and developing, the characteristics, personalities and abilities of their students. My daughter is now at a better quality academy that placed her in a higher level upon her first assessment, has deemed her a leader in her class, and has helped re-build her confidence and love in ballet! Again, this review is not written lightly. I am not a professional dancer. I am just a mom who wanted a good community and dance home for my daughter. A Terre School of Dance, for us, was not that.

The owner Danielle seems to be very knowledgeable and pleasant. When you think of what a ballerina…read moreor ballet instructor should emulate, she is the epitome of that. Yet as a business, the customer service lacks for the amount you're paying monthly. My expectation is that when I reach out to a business that I am paying well over $150 for, I expect assistance at a professional level. I've also noticed that there wasn't much encouragement for students to bond or for the instructors to build a narrative to foster relationships so it feels like a community. I can imagine that this would be difficult for newer students. I very much wanted to love this school, because the owner does have a lot to offer, but for the time and money I put in, I did not receive the service expected.
