Mr. Miguel, the owner/instructor is also very caring and involved with his students. For both Halloween and Christmas he arranges a trunk or treat or party there at the studio for the kids and parents to interact and get to know each other. He promotes unity among us all. My little girl is only six and is part of their mini class, the older more advanced girls, there at the studio are coached to be encouraging and supportive of the little ones. They act as buddy's during competition days. This is a huge help and relief for us moms. He also invites and encourages all parents and students to go out to dinner or lunch as a team during comp days to mingle and celebrate everyones achievements. Its wonderful because the dancers get to interact and have fun with each other in a social environment. Their competition team is amazing and doing great things. He offers an unlimited membership and a great variety of classes focusing on techniques and strengthening. Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Hip Hop, Flexibility, Tumbling, Conditioning, Turns & Leaps, to name a few. A dance camp during the summer for all levels M-F 10am-5pm. My little girl has been a student for over a year now and I wouldn't go elsewhere. She continues to learned so much and enjoys going to class. Mrs. Carla is another wonderful instructor that my little girl has really come to love. She helped her through her first competition season with private lessons and lots and lots of words of encouragement!! For a little one who was 5 at the time and sometimes felt the jitters and sometimes struggled through conditioning a little extra love, support, and encouraging words was more than helpful it was a must and Mrs. Carla did exactly that. She came home so proud and full of smiles after a compliment or a pat on the back from her instructor. Thank you AIM for a memorable 2018 Dance season looking forward to 2019. Just know this is not just an after school or a recreational program lol this is a competitive dance studio where hard work and dedication is expected from both students and parents. Fast teacher! But that's not always bad. Thankful for this weeks improvements. Update from below negative review. Daughters went to number two day of four only to watch from the rear of the class a more advanced class combined with hers practice their routine. Unless they have some awesome fix for this program which I will post if they do, don't waste a single penny on this place!! I never know when someone negative review on here is some personality issue with this business but the negative reviews for this business are pretty right on. First day of summer class through the City of Riverside Parks and Rec and the class is combined with a class of familiar student not on their first day. Poor design, wouldn't recommend for the first time dancer and especially first timer here at this studio. The teacher isn't bad, just a big learning curve for summer participants.

I've been to the RAM many times and it's a small art museum in Downtown Riverside. The Cheech…read moreMuseum is one stop light up and a larger museum. If you purchase a ticket to the Cheech, the RAM is included in your ticket price, or if you start at the RAM, the Cheech will be included that day. I came to the RAM this time around, specifically, for the 60 Miles East exhibit. This exhibit ends on 4/12, so make sure to swing by before then if you want to catch it. The exhibit contained many flyers, pictures, art, and even ticket stubs that brought me back to my childhood. It was in a clean and open space that made the experience enjoyable. This exhibit takes up only one room and there are other spaces to check out for additional art exhibits. I did notice less art, this time around, than in previous visits and many open spaces/walls were not taken up. Overall, I'm glad I got to enjoy this exhibit, before it ends, and it really highlights the Inland Empire's music scene as an important piece of diverse culture. Enjoy!

But when they announced the 60 Miles East Punk Rock in Riverside exhibition, I knew I wasn't going to miss it. The Riverside Art Museum was originally built in 1929 as a YWCA before being bought and turned into what it is now. You walk in and admission is right there. I went on Veterans Day so I got in free. Otherwise combo tickets that get you into the Cheech the same day cost $15.95. A good deal! The 60 Miles East exhibition is in a giant room filled with flyers, posters and clothing from bands and places all over the Inland Empire. It was super cool but made me a bit sad inside because I'd been to the Showcase Theatre on many occasions and still miss it. They also have art in another part of the gallery including a Shepard Fairley original. I wasn't expecting that! Overall the Riverside Art Museum is a place I'd for sure recommend. It's not real big but since you can go to the Cheech on the same day with your ticket, it's worth the admission cost. 60 Miles East runs to mid April so don't miss it! Support the arts!

Not every dance studio has this, and I'm so thankful to have been able to watch this special moment in my students life. I literally teared up such a great show!
