His office is located in the suite #220. Waiting room has really nice view of the valley and lots of natural lights. Each of the staff are super friendly and nice! The check-in was super fast as well. Didn't have to wait more than 2 minutes after my appointment time and they called me in. Dr. Later is a very friendly fella. He took time to talk with me, and hear what I had to say. Gave some blood samples today and he said that his office will call me when the results are in and we will go from there. Even though it was my very first visit...so far so good! I really liked him. Hopefully I'll keep having positive experiences :P

I was referred to Dr Russell Smith by a friend who had similar female issues-- [ endometriosis / high risk ] so after she had her laroscopy she had told me how it went. She said her recovery was 2-3 days and she felt so much better and that her periods don't hurt like they used to. Once she said that I was in serious need to get help for myself. It was crippling my life! Dr Smiths bedside manner is great. He's very professional and knowledgeable. He goes through explaining things rather than acting like you should know what he's talking about when it's INSIDE us, haha. My quest for a good OBGYN in Utah has finally come to an end! I only had one appointment so far but I'm feeling very confident in his ability and opinion.

I am without medication that is vital and needed for my daily life, and scheduled at their earliest available wich was not until April. I asked if they'd be able to help me with having enough medication to get me to that appointment, and they became incredibly rude, unhelpful, and judgmental. Having been a good-standing patient for so long, this overreaction was completely uncalled for. Given they could not provide the care needed, I sadly have to move on from them, but this was a very unhappy ending and I do not recommend anyone seeking long-term care should visit them.

And billing is horrendous. Over 8 months after the visit I get a bill - which I thought I had already paid because it was 8 months ago. After several calls, insurance and provider disagree on when the bill was received by insurance for why it took so long for insurance to respond. The health card industry is complicated and convoluted. And I refuse to go to providers who don't help patients better navigate it.

And none of the referrals from IMC were convenient. We found Dr. Gohari on healthgrades and vitals where her reviews are the best I've seen for any doctor in any field! And they were absolutely true! Dr. Gohari has a brilliant clinical mind, and is remarkably thorough. Yet she shows she cares about her patients and what matters to them. Plus, the staff are wonderful. Elaine at the front desk patiently answered all our many questions by phone beforehand to help us choose Dr. Gohari and St Marks. Echo was a warm and knowledgable first introduction to the practice as she reviewed our medical history forms. All round a wonderful experience!

Registration was quick and painless. The check-in process was well organized and the staff clearly had their workflow dialed in. I was not left standing around confused or buried in paperwork for longer than necessary. The wait time was very reasonable. I have been to plenty of medical facilities where you show up on time and still sit for an hour. That was not the case here. They respected my time, and that goes a long way. Everyone I interacted with was warm, professional, and genuinely friendly. The facility itself is clean, modern, and well maintained. Everything felt organized. If you need imaging or radiology services in the Salt Lake area, I would not hesitate to come back here or recommend it to family and friends. Well done, Intermountain.

And surprisingly, the hospital cafeteria was very good. I have quite a bit of trauma over the years eating in hospital cafeterias and this place was a pleasant surprise and my colleague suggested we check it out. I had a tofu bowl and it was delicious! I also had some fresh pineapple and a diet soda. Prices were reasonable and Id definitely return. The place was swarming with hospital staff and was hard to find a place to sit, so snag your seat quickly. The views are so sick of the mountains, Id never get tired of looking at the mountains here in Utah. Id definitely return and normally I avoid hospital cafeterias like the plague.

Note: This office is extremely busy because the providers are amazing!…read more Having worked in the medical field, I find many people don't understand that doctors cannot just fulfill requests at the drop of a hat. They are juggling hundreds of patients in clinic with hundreds of requests coming in the back end at the same time. Dr. Prater is my primary care provider and I can see why she often has a long list of patients waiting to start care with her, she is the perfect PCP! She actually takes the time to listen and makes sure you leave feeling cared for every time you visit. Her medical assistant Shauna is so incredibly hard working and always does her best to accommodate me. Although it is not at the snap of a finger because of Dr. Prater's busy schedule, they do see and get to my requests in a timely manner. I'm excited to continue my care with Dr. Prater and Granger Medical!

I was looking for a new primary care physician as mine left the profession. I got an appointment 5…read moremonths after I filled out the paperwork due to her long waiting list (unfortunately I have found this is the norm do to a lack of enough doctors to go around after many are mysteriously leaving the profession.) Anyway, 3 months later I received a DMV form for a seizure I had 17 years ago with no problems or medication since. I turned the form into her office because my previous Dr had me do that and filled it out for me. Understandably they said they could not fill it out without seeing me. They recommended that I go to urgent care because they would sign it and suggested another office that could do it for me. I tried both options but neither of those panned out, neither office could do it for me. When I report back to Dr Prater's office, they said that they would do it, just not until I had been seen and asked if I wanted to be put on the cancellation list. I told them yes. A month later, when checking on paperwork for my daughter I asked about the cancellation list. The office person told me I was not on it. I again requested to be put on it. I assume but have no knowledge as to whether that actually occurred. Now, 2 weeks before my appointment and 3 weeks before my form is due to the DMV, they call me out of the blue and tell me they are cancelling my appointment and can not help me, that I needed to call a neurologist. I do not have a neurologist as my neurologist retired, his office no longer exists, and I have not had issue for 17 years. At that point, I voiced my frustration with the office for the spot that they were putting me in. I did what they recommended and called to schedule an appointment with a neurologist. Neurologists will not schedule any appointments with patients without a referral from a primary care physician. I was informed that they would not accept me as a patient because of the frustrations I voiced. But, the truth is, they called me out of the blue 2 weeks before my appointment to cancel giving no reason other than that they would not sign the form that they had previously said they would sign. The decision had already been made before I voiced my frustration. I am not sure who they had plans to give my spot to, but now I am in a bind because of the deception and unprofessionalism of this office. Stay Away!

I've been waiting over three months for a sleep study referral--signed by my doctor--to be sent to…read morethe sleep center. Despite multiple calls and even an in-person visit, neither the office nor Optum's referral center has successfully faxed it. The sleep center confirmed they still haven't received the referral. This delay is unacceptable. Untreated sleep apnea can lead to serious health risks including high blood pressure, heart disease, stroke, and even dementia. Optum, please take this seriously and resolve this immediately--patients' health shouldn't be jeopardized by administrative failures.
