Efficient, friendly people and definite care. I have used them multiple times in the past. I would wait going here during peak times, just call them and ask about estimated wait times. If you have had a bad experience with them, then go somewhere else for treatment. Especially with a child who is sick. read more

It's so wonderful to get out of bed in pain go to urgent care , who then tell you to go to this pitiful excuse of a emergency department stay there for a couple hours if that get discharged come home and get back in bed all for the only thing to change is now I have a fffffffff bill to pay. We came to Intermountain Health with severe heart-related pain, and we have been waiting for almost 3 hours with no one checking on us or offering any help. This is extremely dangerous -- waiting this long for a potential heart issue is unacceptable. There was no communication, no updates, and no concern for our well-being. Hospitals are supposed to care for patients in emergencies, not ignore them. This lack of attention could have serious consequences, and I am extremely disappointed with the care here. I hope management addresses this immediately, because ignoring patients in urgent situations is inexcusable. read more

What a nightmare. Wow. I am a healthcare worker who had taken a client to Emerg for a serious issue. As we walked in a woman calmly walked in behind the line and became apoplectic. Her world was on the verge. It was nearly life & death. but it wasn't. She got a wheelie seat but was still in the four hour line. We sat there and waited after jockeying for a chair. The ends of the rows were blocked by people doing who knows what. whole rows of chairs in the middle but people blocking access. It was a free for all. Audible Vomiting. Over and over. Yes it's an er but it was an awfully dirty feeling. And the workers were directors of traffic. Mostly. One Helper took the lady back for an initial look over and when we were coming out I went to park her towards the middle of the row, she commandeers the chair, runs my foot over. This nurse helper didnt even let me back off. She acts as a 80's video monster becomes the worst Space Invader, and mashes my foot unser the chairs wheel. And this is a caregiver? I guess if yer cute you rule the drool barf department. I believe the accolades given to nurses has gone to anyone who is volunteering for the day and they can act badly with no courtesy or any form of manners. Workers there seem to be first class white Trash. Great hair but main objective to snag a dr hubby on the way to physically mashing people's toes. Can you imagine being accosted by a volunteer because she's busy directing seating to further block anyone from sitting down hassle free? It's the most polluted room I think I've experienced. One of the barbers was bandaging himself but had a utility knife out for to perfect his bulbous bandage. Super weird and completely unnerving! The last time I was there a man was bleeding everywhere as they collected his billing info. Horrid place. read more

Horrible service. Incompetent staff. Stay away from this hospitals emergency room. They couldn't care less about you as a person.

As a former Emergency Room RN I am informed about the standards of care for emergency rooms and the services they provide. For starters; their ER parking lot is BIG, well lit, and it's very close to the entrance. No hills or torn up asphalt. You immediately see the admission crew who are efficient and skilled. You do wait depending on their work load. If we have just had a mass casualty event this ER will get bombed; it's because they provide definitive care and treatment. In my case a brain and spinal cord injury. My oh my I'm so glad that I've placed my complicated care in their hands. read more

I could not leave a worse review. I came into the emergency room and was not treated in such fashion. I was seen by Doctor Geoffrey Crocket for excruciating shoulder pain, stomach upset, and a fainting spell. I was told I was pregnant, given a GI cocktail and sent home without a second thought even though I still was experiencing extreme pain. I flew home to my home state (Texas) 2 days later and went to the ER there. I was told I was in shock due to a ruptured eptopic pregnancy and had been internally bleeding for days. This resulted in the loss of my left fallopian tube in a life saving surgery. Turns out the blood work, the shoulder pain, and the pregnancy was a clear sign of ectopic pregnancy that Dr. Geoffrey Crocket missed. Not only did I have multiple medical bills due to it not being diagnosed the first time but it almost cost me my life. When a pregnant female comes in with those symptoms the least they could have done was an ultrasound which would have shown the liter of blood that was pooled in my abdomen causing the shoulder pain. I could not be more upset and disappointed in this doctor and hospital. They truly failed me as a patient. The anxiety and pain I went through because I was not taken seriously is unreal. I hope the next female patient he sees he does better due diligence. Worst experience ever! read more

Neda Khademi Worst treatment ever. A group of emotionless people gathered there just to collect money. I wished I was taking the reviews seriously. 2 starts is a lot for this place. First they said they would take my insurance info, but they did not. I was lucky to check my phone and see they sent me a message without telling me. The doctor Wolsey rushed me, stayed less than 5 minutes, and left the room before I could even finish explaining my symptoms. I had to ask the ultrasound tech, the only nice person I met there, what was going on. The nurse with the mustache was completely useless. I told him the doctor did not let me finish, and he said he would tell the doctor, but he did not. They just left, and I did not even know I was allowed to leave. This was the most cold, uncaring "care" I have ever experienced. Why are they in healthcare if they have no empathy? I would rather die than need care from this team again. read more

I am so excited to be the first to review this emergency room. I went there today for an abscess tooth that caused my neck to swell in a disfiguring way. My pain was 10+ yet I had a wonderful experience because of the bed side manner of this staff. Even the registration lady Kierston was so accommodating. Nurse Tom was able to make me smile all day long. Dr. Colvin was a delightful person. Karl the care tech made me laugh in spite of being drugged and in severe pain. And Travis who did my CT Scan is awesome. I wish I could remember everyone. Thank you all for being so good to me. I appreciate you all. You are my heroes. Thank you very kindly. read more

Unfortunately, I have had very poor experiences with the ED at Murray IMC. The first was when my doctor sent me from her office to the ED with stroke symptoms. The intake had me wait 3 hours. When my husband complained the nurse yelled at us and blamed us for the delay. The second, was two days ago when I was sent to the ED from the Taylorsville Instatcare (5 stars for them BTW) with symptoms of a heart attack and an abnormal EKG. Again, we told the intake we were sent from the other doctor with the test and paperwork and I was again made to wait nearly three hours before being taken to the rooms to meet with a doctor. Both of these were life threatening events but pushed aside. Many people there could have been well served by Instacare or primary care services. Perhaps a better triage and a posible center on the campus more suited for the less acute needs. read more

i brought my husband here when he was suffering from covid symptoms and severe nausea. there was this one lady in the front desk very very sweet! they let me go back with him and stay even though he was covid positive. the nurses and dr was extremely nice and patient with my weak husband. they offered us a lot of kind things and didn't let him go until my husband felt well enough to go home. we got the help we needed and was sent home. i appreciate the care they provided and this hospital has never let me down! thank you!! read more
