Meanwhile my insurer said they do and when I made the appointment with this office, they told me they do particapate with my plan after I gave them all my insurence information and they where able to tell me what my copay would be for the visit. Also how was it that my doctor was able to get auth if the doctor doesn't take my insurence? You cannot get auth for a doctor that doesn't take a patients plan.I know I work for a doctor office. When I asked the girls at the front desk to speak to a manager the ladies at the front desk where rude unapologetic and said I had to call on the phone to speak with a manager. Which I ended up doing. When I spoke with the manager she apologized and said they didn't run my insurence thru there eligibility till I came for the apppointment. Which I known is B.S. and asked how where they able to tell me my copay if they didn't run it thru eligibility before? The manager couldn't give me and answer and than try to make the excuses like that the girls working in the office are new and oh our system was down yesterday etc. I found the manger to be useless and unhelpful and unprofessional. I was told by the doctor the procedure went well. No follow-up instructions were given except an appointment made. 10 days later I discovered that I was bleeding. Obviously being very upset I called the office. I reached someone in the call center who listened to what was happening to me and put me on hold. Several minutes later an older woman answered the phone with a "Can I help you" as if she had no idea what was going on. I told her I was bleeding, I was very scared and her answer was, "Well the doctors gone for the day!" I asked what I should do if I should just go to the emergency room and she said, "Do you want to come to Northport tomorrow?" I said I don't think so because I'm bleeding and I'm really scared. She said "He's already gone for today. Would you like to come in on August 8th!" Not once did she say, hold on while I reach him, as a normal medical practice would do that had some common sense. Not once did she ask what my name was. NOTHING! I told her I was scared and I was going to the emergency room and her reply was "Okay let us know what happened!" This woman isn't qualified to work in a laundromat! I have received more concern from a supermarket employee over a dented can! I have no idea how you can possibly run a medical office this way and not care when your patient is having an emergency. I went to Mather emergency room and the doctor that took care of me was quite angry. He said I should have been given antibiotic and couldn't understand why something like this happened. This has been duly noted. The emergency room sent the report to their office and one week later no one has reached out to me! Stay far away from these people! This is gross incompetence and negligence and worthy of an Insurance Complaint

He was the urologist that was there to insert a foley catheter. He inserted the foley in my vagina and NOT in my urethra. The excruciating pain I experienced from an over filled bladder was intense. My bladder had almost 900ml of urine. When he came to my hospital room, I confronted him with his huge mistake and he had the audacity to tell me this sometimes happen. NO this does NOT sometimes happen. He never apologized, never said he made a mistake. I would NEVER trust this man. Retire Dr. Mills
