They wasted my time. I made my appointment 2 weeks before, took off a day of work for it.When I got…read moreto my appointment all of a sudden they don't take my insurence. Meanwhile my insurer said they do and when I made the appointment with this office, they told me they do particapate with my plan after I gave them all my insurence information and they where able to tell me what my copay would be for the visit. Also how was it that my doctor was able to get auth if the doctor doesn't take my insurence? You cannot get auth for a doctor that doesn't take a patients plan.I know I work for a doctor office. When I asked the girls at the front desk to speak to a manager the ladies at the front desk where rude unapologetic and said I had to call on the phone to speak with a manager. Which I ended up doing. When I spoke with the manager she apologized and said they didn't run my insurence thru there eligibility till I came for the apppointment. Which I known is B.S. and asked how where they able to tell me my copay if they didn't run it thru eligibility before? The manager couldn't give me and answer and than try to make the excuses like that the girls working in the office are new and oh our system was down yesterday etc. I found the manger to be useless and unhelpful and unprofessional. This office is unprofessional rude and they need to tell there staff to dress professional as well. The girls at the front dress where dressed like they where going to the club not work at an office. If the doctor works the way that office is run. Than I probably dogged a bullet. I feel bad for there patients. I would tell my friends and family to stay away and suggest you do the same!

Doctor Lynns staff has to be one of the rudest staff I have ever met in all my years of going to…read morethe doctor. Especially the Latin nurse ?(if she's not latin and not a nurse I apologize, certainly dont want to get her mad!!) if I go to a urologist its because I have a problem peeing or some other problem. This person is extremely rude and doesn't really care if you get hep or not. She asked me when I went up to the window, "why are you here? I have to call you! I said nothing and sat down, when I sat down....she called me up!!!!! really????....there was another gentleman while I was there with many water bottles a nervous wreck telling me why are they being so mean? I cant pee and she's telling me I dont have a choice! so Doctor Lynn might be great but you have to go through his staff to see him....no thank you! in the past we also had a problem with staff with my other family member, lets just say they didn't help, they dont care......and I think they get off on seeing people worry! shame on you for working in the medical field....Medical 101=Compassion! get some! I don't think it's worth it to see him even with all his credentials, because you are going to have to go through his staff to get to him ALWAYS! NO TY there are hundreds of urologists on the island..........sorry Doctor Lynn, but you need to clean up your office

Granted, I can't imagine how one could be enthusiastic about urology.. but he chose this profession, not me. At least give your patient the impression that you have some minimal interest in your chosen field of work. When speaking with the monotone Dr. Epelbaum, it's impossible to tell if he's actually listening to you or processing what you are saying. It became clear he does NOT listen after I told him I drink several beers a day and he prescribed Alfuzosin and did not give me ANY warning or precautionary advice that the medication he was prescribing has potentially SERIOUS INTERACTIONS WITH ALCOHOL. Literally learned that on my own- not from the medical doctor who prescribed it. So I stopped drinking and took the medication as prescribed. Uninformed interactions aside- the medication did NOT work. On my second and final visit I asked Epelbaum if I should continue taking the medication to see if it needs more time to "kick in" or if it was going to help it would have already and I should stop taking it? Dr. Epelbaum's response? Well it was barely a response. It was closer to a non verbal shrug than a response. He kind of raised his shoulders and opened his hands in a 'who knows' manner.. Yes that's literally what happened. I left his office that day unsure of whether or not his advice was to continue or stop taking the medication he prescribed. At that point I decided this doctor was shot and I was not returning. Borderline malpractice.

We wait an hour for incompetent, uninformative, and unhelpful staff to waste our time. They don't…read moretell us we need to return the tablet to the right window or that a urine sample is needed until after my father already went to the restroom. They have no sense of customer service or empathy to the point that they have a sign to stop complaining to their staff. Moreover, billing is unclear for charges without written details to explain unexpected charges. Furthermore, their appointment scheduling system online is inaccurate where it says that there are no appointments until May and we learn there is one a month early in April when we arrive to schedule a follow up with another doctor, who is available the day we arrive in the afternoon. This is the most ineffective use of everyone's time except for the staff, who get paid regardless of considering that the time of patients and their caregivers are just as valuable. I'd never recommend this office given how they treat senior citizens with disabilities, let alone those without any. Whoever is running this practice clearly doesn't care about patient satisfaction enough to train their staff to accommodate, not frustrate patients and caregivers.
