The reason for my visit was for spasms in both my legs, ankles and feet. I spent an hour with Dr. Scopelliti and he did countless tests to discover issues that I had and some I did not know I had , balance being one of them. He gave me a few exercises to do a few times a day and I go back for a follow-up in a few weeks. I highly recommend Dr. Scopelliti!

It's an experience that took me five years to talk about because of how traumatic it was. The treatment I received by the ER staff could be compared to a horror movie. I would rather die than be treated by St. Charles again...that's the level of bad I'm talking about. I can't believe such sadistic people work in Healthcare. That's a thought that keeps me up at night. I would never say that every doctor and nurse at St. Charles is bad. I'm sure a lot of caring people work there but not the people who treated me. I know a lot of people in Healthcare and I respect them and admire the work they do but that was not my experience at St. Charles. I never feel like I'm imposing when I call the office. Many doctor's offices have extremely rude stuff but not this one. There is one point I'd like to bring to light - the office is stuck in the late 90s/early 2000s as far as technology and service. They don't have the capability to submit prescriptions to a pharmacy electronically which is a GIANT pain. I have to budget an extra hour to any visit in case something is prescribed in order to drive to the pharmacy, stand in line, and hand them a paper prescription. THEN I have to drive back later to pick it up because I don't have time to hang out in the pharmacy for an hour while it is filled. It feels like the 1970s to me. Every doctor I've been seeing since 2005 submits electronically and many times the order is filled within the hour for easy pick up later at my convenience. As far as I know, New York state law mandates all prescriptions must be submitted electronically (to prevent drug abuse) so I'd be interested in what exemption this office is using to get out of the mandate. Secondly, they don't seem to have the ability to accept bill payments via the internet. In 2022! They want you to mail in a piece of paper with your credit card information or call them over the phone to give them your credit card information - not very secure, convenient, or modern at all.

I recently had to call and move an appointment (after they moved a different one of mine) and they had only 2 other times available for over a month (unfortunately both of which I am at work in another state). The front desk person was argumentative and rude when I told her I was frustrated with the lack of flexibility (and just wanted it noted so doctors were aware)--especially since they had pushed my other appointment out which left me with a longer gap. She instead continued to argue with me that they weren't inflexible and had availability, it just didn't work for me. (Again 2 options in over a month isn't super flexible but that's fine, I know they are busy it was just my opinion ). When I told her I didn't want to argue I just wanted to confirm next steps and share that I was frustrated for it to be noted, she hung up.

He is great always friendly and helpful. I drive almost 40 miles just so I can see Dr Guido. I would highly recommend Neurology associates for anyone needing a top notch neurologist. My father was recommended by his primary physician to see a neurologist due to the unusual appearance of his hand. I happened to be visiting for the week, and it was very frustrating for me that every office he was referred to did not have any appointments for two months. I spoke to his chiropractor, who is a family friend, and he stressed the fact that waiting two months was not acceptable. My father is hard of hearing, and not really savvy on social media. Since YELP is my go to for everything, I decided to research other offices and see if I could find him an appointment much sooner. Being in the dental industry, it is very important for me to read credentials and reviews from patients. I was very impressed with Dr. Scopelliti's back ground, so with fingers crossed, I made the call. Ladies and gentlemen, I felt like I was reaching out to an old friend. Debbie was so kind and understanding! Having an aging parent can be very challenging, but she was very patient as my dad chimed in his two cents from the background. She was able to get my father an appointment in four days. We chatted for a bit about what it is like to be a patient provider. She told me about the doctor, and the one on one experience he provides. I sent her dad's insurance information, and she was kind enough to reach out within the hour to explain about his patient portion. I was really looking forward to meeting the team, but circumstances came up and I sent my mom. I wanted her to be able to understand what the Dr. was diagnosing, and due to HIPPA regulations, I wanted her to be able to have future discussions if need be. When they came home, Dad gave rave reviews about Dr. S. He treated him for a full hour, had strict Covid guidelines, and dad had a better understanding about what was happening to his body. I am so very thankful for these people. In this time of uncertainty, you think the worst outcome possible. Dad was convinced he had one foot in the grave, and was discussing his burial wishes. I told him only the good die young, and he has plenty of years left! We have a little work to do to get him on the mend, but thanks to Dr. S and his extremely thorough exam....there will be many more visits with my family.
