I came here on Sunday with my friend who had some birthday money to spend. The summer sale items were 50% off of their reduced prices. She found many nice dresses and tops. I also found a good black shirt and skirt with a black, nude, and white, pattern on it for work. The store was quiet and the saleslady checked in on us often. The appearance of the store is neat.

I not only left with a stunning outfit for the races, but, some stellar pieces for my professional wardrobe and everyday life as well. Finding clothes that look great on me is often challenging, but, here it was easy to find great pieces that fit my body. With my most recent trip to town, I shopped there a few different times and was pleasantly surprised to find new pieces to choose from. The entire staff is super friendly and I know that Carl Meyers is my go-to shop, for future trips to Lexington.

As a follow up, the owners reply states that I was trying to return an item more than a month after purchase which is not true. It was purchased on May 18, 20 days ago. I did not speak to the owner and informed the employee whom I spoke to that it had been purchased within the past 30 days and that I had the receipt and was open to a store credit, which they were not willing to offer. I live about 40 minutes from the store so it's not easy to get back to do a return in 10 days. However, I have been a customer for many years. I don't shop there all the time, two or three times a year for special occasions . I had hoped this locally owned boutique would be flexible with their local repeat customers. Live and learn.

When asked where it was and where the papers were we signed when brought stuff in or when cashed out we were told the logs were gone and they had no record of anything which those records WERE given to the new owners. A lot of us sold Kate Spade purses, MK and other nice things and all that money is now gone and now they are closing NKY and leaving all together. A lot of people are out a lot of money. Be careful consigning, take pictures of your items and of the logs you sign have records of your stuff you take in.

That's very out of the ordinary in most retail shops in Lexington. It was nice to see. Anthropologie has primarily women's clothing. Since "I'm Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman", I love their home goods section. From pillows and bedding to kitchen supplies, it's all great quality. I have several plates and mugs from here and always get compliments on them. They're also very unique! Another favorite area is the skin care section. They have several different face masks for various needs. Also, there is wonderful lotions and moisturizers that I've tried. They all smell amazing and actually do wonders for your skin. This is a higher end store that is a wonderful addition to the Summit! Be sure to visit when you're here
