I had my wedding dress altered with Hanna. I spent $900 on alterations, which she makes you pay upfront for. The initial consultation was great, but at my first fitting, there were black stains and a blood stain on my dress. She was difficult to schedule follow up fittings with as well. She sent it to be professionally cleaned before my third and final fitting, and it still had dirt stains on my train. She gave me the number of the cleaner and told me to handle it with them. I ended up having to spent 6 hours spot cleaning and re-steaming my own dress days before the wedding. She did cover the cleaning fee, but it still wasn't clean and I did not receive any money back for the damage. There's no reason a wedding dress should be damaged and stained during the alteration process. read more

Hanna did an outstanding job on my dress. It had so much beadwork and sequins all over my dress. She was able to fit me in for my first showing as I live in another state and get my dress finished to make it look like it was made for me! She has such an amazing attention to detail as well. She even said I could Facetime her the day of the wedding if I needed to know how to bustle it correctly. From the bottom of my heart thank you so much! She was so accommodating for me as well since I live in Colorado and got my dress in Clarksville so my cousin and mother could be with me when I picked out my wedding dress! I had bought a dress for a military ball I was attending and it arrived special order in Nashville only a week before the ball. With it still needing alterations I knew it was going to be hard to find someone willing to work on my dress especially because of its material. Going to Hanna was the best decision I made! They were super sweet and caring and wanted to do everything they could to help me even with the short amount of time we had. They altered my dress PERFECTLY and I mean it fit like a glove. Even with having to hand stitch my alterations because of the gems on my dress they had it done days before the ball! Waited 20+ minutes to be seen even though we were on time, BOTH TIMES I WENT IN. Original fitting and the second. Hem wasn't short enough, the main thing I asked for which was the missing sequins be fixed And they were NOT FIXED. Also random strings were hanging off which I pointed out at the first try on, still wasn't fixed. I waited 3-4 months for this dress and didn't have time to wait another 3-4 months for her to fix all the things she said she would fix the first time. The hem is so long I step on it and it makes this awful crunching noise because I'm stepping on the sequins. She disappeared for almost the entirety of when I was trying my dress on the second time and showed up just to TELL me that it was perfect. My grandmother even pointed out "isn't that a little long" and she said "no it's fine it just looks like that" even though she spent about 30 seconds looking at the dress. She even LOOKED worried when she was looking at me. I was obviously disappointed but I just wanted to leave because why would I trust her to do another alteration? The only thing that is super noticeable to everyone else is the hem. I crunch and waddle like a penguin. The other details aren't that noticeable to others but for me, they are extremely disappointing. So much money and time should not result in this poor performance. read more
