Let me first start saying by this company saved my life well that's traumatic but save the day. I had a wedding to go to and my dog Peed on my bridesmaid dress so I had to buy a whole new dress the same day, the wedding was the next day and had a dinner at 5:30. After I bought the dress from Deborah's bridal shower which helped me out tremendously I don't know what I would've done without that dress from them as well. I got recommended to Katie by Debras Bridal for alterations on my wedding dress. They told me to first see if she was able to do it and to get quoted on it. So that's what I did. For the record, yes I waited last minute (30 days before the wedding) to get my dress altered. That was completely my fault from running around to making sure my wedding would be perfect, so I am late on getting my dress altered. With that being said and knowing this already I had the worst experience by far with this lady. As a bride this is suppose to be special and your suppose to feel like a princess in your dress and the process of making sure your dress is amazing for your day. The first thing this lady (Katie) said to me was that my dress was not meant for me. She continued on stating how my dress is meant for a curvier woman. She even commented on butt pads and that I need them. And I should try those. I agreed sure and just laughed it off. My mother, debras bridal, fiances mother, and all my bridesmaids agreed that my dress is perfect for me. For someone to tell me my dress isnt meant for me is crazy. The conversation continued as she added bra padding (which she had to add 2) and I joked around how my daughter left me without boobs lol. She asked how old my daughter was and I explained her age and that her father is the man I'm marrying. She then stated that i guess I did things backwards. Which yes I did so I just laughed it off and said yea. I completely forgot that I was driving my fiances car that day and my wedding heels were in my car so I forgot to bring them in. I stood up on my tip toes showing her they were about that tall because they're not that tall at all. I'm scared that if I get really tall heels my clumsy behind will fall lol. She was annoyed by this and then asked if my fiancé was just short and that was the reasoning why I didn't have high heels for my wedding. After all was said and done. She went to the back, I changed and then went to the front desk and asked her while she was in the back still if could she please quote me what it will be and if she was even able to get it done, since my dress looked like it was a bit complicated for her. She then in an annoyed voice said yea it'll take the whole time till the wedding bc I waited last minute and went on and on about this. And then I said okay that's fine i just wanted to know if it was possible and the quote for it. I was going to another person who was also going to give me a quote and see if it would be less difficult and if I could bring the dress back that evening If i decided to allow her to alter it for me. I didn't want it to be impossible and a hassle for her since that was her whole attitude about it in the first place. She then in an extreme annoyed attitude stated "if you take that dress with you now I will not accept it again later" " I wasted 30 min figuring it out, I will NOT take it if u bring it back" I wasn't expecting that response at least in the attitude she gave me. I stated that I'm a new bride I wasn't sure how this alteration thing goes as far as wedding dresses are concerned. Debras bridal only told me to contact her and bring it in and see if it could be done. There's definitely a language barrier there bc she didn't understand what I was trying to do. The she proceeded with okay are you going to take your dress or not. I had had enough already with her rudeness, her attitude, and her remarks that really hurt a bride especially the way she said everything. I told her give my dress back I will not be coming back. Also told her my 7 bridesmaids were not coming to her either. She gave me my dress, I apologized for the inconvenience of me being a customer and her not understanding me as a bride. She didn't even say a word and I just walked out. To be treated that way and feel like your an inconvenience for something you do for a living is so wrong and disrespectful. Let's just say I walked out in tears and pretty much just cried on the way home for the worst experience of my life. I couldn't believe all the things she stated to me in a way where she had no shame and just completely ruined my day. Let's just say I called Debras bridal and told them the whole story and hopefully they don't recommend her for any other brides or bridesmaids that could potentially have the same experience as I did.
