if i could put 0 stars i would. i have gone here before and my altercations were good but tonight it was 5:55pm and they closed at 6. all i needed was my gown trimmed at the arms and they turned us away because they were " closed " but then proceeded not to turn off my their open sign and lock the doors until 6. if yall are reading this who was working this day please try and look up what customer service means and then do it because yall had the worst attitudes and customer service i have ever seen. do not go here if you want to be treated like garbage. read more

I have had several pairs of pants hemmed here. However, it seems that after a month that the hems completely come undone. I've had to have two pair of pants re-hemmed and I did not take them back here. They have a very short 'guarantee' time frame. I have business slacks, not hard on them at all, so for hems to completely come undone in a month is ridiculous. I now will have to find another "go to " place, since I get all of my pants tailored. Do NOT go here! I spent over $100 to get my bridesmaid dress altered here and it came back to me with an uneven hem between the front to back, the zipper has become VERY difficult to zip up and down due to the bodice work, hem work was left unfinished and strings were everywhere and to top it off, it came back to me wrinkled! I called to discuss this with the manager on a Friday morning and the workers said she wouldn't be back until Monday and after I explained the situation, they did not offer to have me come in to try to fix any of this. This was a very disappointing experience and I will never go back here. read more

I took a new pair of (expensive) suit pants to be hemmed & taken in in the waistband. I returned & tried on the pants. The hem was okay (not good...just okay). The back of the pants where they took them in was awful. So, I asked the lady to fix the way they pulled in the back. She said yes, & we agreed that I would return in 3 hours. When I returned, I tried the pants on again. They still looked terrible. Finally, the girl helping me admitted that all they did in the 3 hours that was gone was press the pants. THEY DIDN'T EVEN TRY TO FIX THE PROBLEM! I was so angry; I left to avoid a possible altercation. I am going out of town for work & will have to find a real taylor while traveling. Never, Never, Never take items that you work hard to buy to this place! Please learn from my experience. Take your clothes to a real taylor. read more

I would give zero stars if possible! Took a suit there to have sleeves shortened. Very unprofessional, grumpy woman complained constantly about her job and how much she had to walk every day. Slapped a pin in the sleeve and felt like she had done her job. He wasn't satisfied with the length she had randomly chosen and asked for it to be made longer. This really put her out and we felt like we'd ruined her day. Same attitude when I picked up the jacket. They charged TWICE what Mac'y's wanted for the same service. We needed it sooner so opted to have it done here. Will NOT go back for any of our alterations. Find someplace more professional!! read more

I will not take any further work here. I also had a garment returned unrepaired and they did try to pass it off as finished. I paid $17.50 to have a shirt with a longer tail cut down by about 2-1/2 inches (I only paid $20 for the shirt new) - they made me wait four days and when I picked it up it was not even touched - I then had to come back and had to wait an additional two days. No compensation offered. I had a small hole in a seam on a pair of pants that needed repaired and I had to wait four days for that. I had a mother's dress made on line and took it here to have alterations made - over $100 later it fit terrible and I took it there two times. I have more alterations on a coat I want done and am looking for another alteration place that is surely cheaper, quicker and does better work. read more

Don't take something to them last minute, it's too riskyI They finished it, but I don't fit into the dress now. I took a dress in to get tacked in the front to minimize cleavage and now it won"t zip all the way (wearing same undergarments I wore when they put the pins in, of course) because she sewed it too tight. Now I have to go bra-less in my bridesmaid dress and it's not the most ideal situation. I am saying this as a level-headed, gentle person. ALSO, whoever answers the phones needs better customer service skills! She makes you feel dumb for asking a simple question. I think it's just the one employee whose rude though. And when I picked up my dress, she also tried to make me feel dumb by when she asked "what kind of dress did you have?" I answered, "light-pink" since it was a generic question. And she goes, "well, that's not what I meant." How was I supposed to know what she meant? A person with good customer service skills would have clarified the question they asked in order to get the answer they needed. Like she could have said, "Oh, okay, what occasion is it for, or what material is it, or what did you have done to it?" Also, the dress kind of smells mildew-y to me, but I don't have proof that it's from their facilities... read more
