Absolutely the best for Magic the gathering and other tcg needs. Staff is friendly and welcoming

Beyond the overpriced items and limited selection, most of the staff was really off-putting. My fiance was looking through their card collection and didnt receive a fair offer when he tried to sell from his personal collection. He decided to trade some burner cards for one that he wanted, but was not happy with the service, lack of rapport from the staff and the general vibe. I went to look at the board games and other pokemon toys.The staff just seemed to not want us in there, so I opted out of buying anything and left to another store. If you want to play a tcg, its probably a good spot. But if you're new and dont fit the mold, you might not feel comfortable there. Either way, I won't be coming back or recommending it. I've been going to the Goodwill just by this place for years and never noticed it was there until a few days ago. I got excited to go in and shop, but the way the employees treated me, I wouldn't spend a penny. There was one guy outside wearing a store t-shirt so I started chatting with him since I was about to go in HIS STORE, and he literally just stared at me like I was from Mars. Didn't even reply to my speaking. So I went in to browse and there were several other employees in the back area who clearly saw me but couldn't be bothered to greet me, welcome me into the store, ask if they could help me out in any way. Turned around and left without buying anything, because let's be real: everything in that store is available online and cheaper. The only reason to buy at those prices is to support local, but if local can't treat you with a shred of dignity, why would you? read more

Alternate Universes is a gift to the gaming community. Staff are eager to help and knowledgeable about the various card, board, role playing games they sell. Game events are very organized. The store is well kept. Prices are fair. One can't ask for more in an LGS. They are also a WPN store for Magic The Gathering. My husband went to this shop today and I'm appalled at how the employee treated him. Incredibly condescending, unhelpful and rude--but what I find totally unacceptable is that the employee called him a nazi when he mentioned he had just moved here from Germany. Maybe he doesn't understand how insanely disrespectful that is, but it's not okay. read more

Awesome card shop. The workers are friendly and helped us out a lot especially since it was our first visit. We play Yu-Gi-Oh! And they have weekly tournaments but they also have other games like MTG and vanguard. Will visit again definitely read more

Stopped in on a Saturday to ask questions about collecting cards (which I know nothing about). The young man who helped me was very patient and very helpful, answered all my ignorant questions without ever making me feel ridiculous. The store seems to specialize in trading cards like Magic, Pokemon, and Yugioh. It's clean and tidy, not cramped, and there is a large section in the back set up with tables where people were playing card games in a friendly tournament. A very nice space! Impressed with the open layout and the courteous staff. I can't speak to the quality or variety of selections for sale because I am not knowledgeable about those things and have no frame of reference. But from this beginner's perspective, I recommend this store enthusiastically! read more

Cannot emphasis how awesome Justin is. I'm not sure who the owner is, but you have an amazing employee. Super friendly, gave us first class service, and was fun to talk to. Wish I lived closer , because I would be droppin mad stacks. It was our second time at this location, and he was just as friendly. Would definitely recommend to a friend, 5/5 service. read more
