I'm blessed that my primary dentist referred me to Foley Orthodontics for much needed braces. From the moment I met Dr Foley and his office manager, Nancy, I knew I was in good hands. It was very clear to me that Dr Foley genuinely cared about making sure we had the best outcome possible. Over the past year, I went every 4-6 weeks and not once did I have a bad experience. The overall environment is a breath of fresh air. From checking in with the front desk to leaving, I noticed staff acknowledge every patient that went in and out with a warm smile. In addition, Dr Foley never failed to make sure he checked in with you to make sure you were okay and if you needed anything. At every visit, they make you feel as though you're the most important patient. I never felt as though they were "too busy" and rushed my care. Additionally, over the past year was challenging for me and struggled with getting to my appointments on time as I was a full time caregiver for my mom. I recall an occasion when I was running so behind I just knew they were going to cancel my appointment since I wouldn't arrive until closing. Instead, Nancy consulted with Dr Foley who had plans to leave at a certain time. After a very brief hold, Nancy told me to drive safe and Dr Foley would make the time to wait for me which was well after five. Again, when I arrived way past my appointment time, I was greeted with a smile and not for a second felt as though I'd inconvenienced him or his staff that stayed to accommodate me. Initially, I didn't think I could afford the cost of braces and treatment since it was a journey not a sprint. However, not only was it affordable but they work with you on a plan that is manageable. Overall, you would not be disappointed in choosing Foley Orthodontics. I wish I could give them a rating way above five stars. As I read some of their reviews, anyone that rates them below a five star, I would recommend considering the source as no matter what you do, some people just can't be pleased. I'm so blessed to have had the opportunity to go to Foley Orthodontics and commend Dr Foley for a job well done and hiring quality individuals.

I rarely leave reviews, but my experience with Cary Family Dental, especially Dr. Wooten, has stayed on my mind, and I felt like I needed to share it. I switched from my previous dentist over 3 years ago. While the dental work was good, the experience had started to feel transactional, more focused on what else needed to be done and the cost rather than care and compassion. Every visit made me anxious. I always felt like I was getting a report card and somehow never getting an "A." Eventually, I just stopped going. And if you know me, that is SO unlike me. I'm a "get it done" kind of girl and pretty tough, but when it came to the dentist, I was over it. My husband and son had been going to Cary Family Dental for years and kept encouraging me to go. I finally made the call, and from that first appointment, it felt different. My hygienist, Melanie (I hope I got her name right! ), was amazing. She was thorough, caring, compassionate, and immediately put me at ease. She's also been with the practice for many years, which tells you something. Then I met Dr. Wooten, and I truly cannot say enough about him. Right before the 4th of July weekend, I needed a crown on a tricky back molar. After the office had closed for the holiday, my temporary crown came off. I called the emergency number expecting I'd probably have to deal with it until after the holiday. Dr. Wooten called me right back. He was literally about to leave town for his own holiday weekend, yet he came back to the office to redo my temporary crown because he didn't want it coming off again and ruining my weekend. I felt terrible that I was delaying his travel plans. He was only concerned about making sure I was okay. That is the difference between simply receiving dental care and feeling genuinely cared for. The following week, he placed my permanent crown with the same kindness and attention to detail. Do I suddenly LOVE going to the dentist? Let's not get carried away. I still have anxiety. But I know I'm walking into an office where I'm going to be treated with kindness, compassion, and respect. After putting off the dentist for far too long, I finally feel like I've found "my people." Cary Family Dental is where my family goes, and now, very happily, it's where I go too. Dr. Wooten, thank you for going above and beyond when you absolutely didn't have to. It meant more than you probably realized.

#1 Sat in the outer waiting room forever as a new patient. Was last to be walked in…read more #2 Dental hygienist was great so that was a good thing, although too many touchy-feely questions for my like. I was there for a teeth cleaning, and some x-rays. #3 The tooth cleaning was less than impressive. Some of my deepest stains did not come out and they did not have answers for why they could not get them out "in my opinion". They were all ready to do extra fillers above my eye teeth to augment where the stains were. This would be at my cost, and would make the stains, invisible to the naked eye. #4 when I went to check out, I find out there is no coordination of benefits, which was never mentioned at any point when I spoke to the office manager or staff person during the initial interview. So now I'm going to have to file the extra paperwork myself. Not cool! #5 The straw that broke the camels back is several weeks later, when I receive the bill from the insurance company stating that this dentist office is out of network for my insurance company, which I specifically asked them to check and was told they "accepted my insurance". Now I don't know what that means to them, but to me, it means that they are in network for my insurance company. Surprise, they aren't! I owe almost $350. Again, not cool!

Everyone is professional, compassionate, and genuinely welcoming, creating an environment that immediately puts you at ease. What stands out most is Dr. Lowery's dedication to her patients. On two separate occasions when I experienced dental issues over a weekend, she responded right away--even while attending a funeral out of town and, another time, while at a graduation ceremony. She never hesitated to reach out and help me address my concerns. Her office consistently follows up promptly, and I have always been able to be seen in a timely manner. On one occasion when she was away, she was even prepared to contact a colleague to arrange an emergency visit for me. Fortunately, I didn't end up needing it, but knowing she was willing to go to those lengths meant so much. Exceptional care, outstanding customer service, and a team that truly cares about their patients. I cannot recommend Dr. Lowery and her staff highly enough!!! However, after stepping inside and meeting their amazing staff my nervousness went down a lot. Tanya was my hygienist and she was very nice and explained every step along the way. She took her time and was thorough and it was just a great feeling overall. Dr. Lowery had the same vibe and took her time and explained everything. She was honest and open about my teeth and really made me feel good about my home care. Since it was my first appointment it ran a little long, so I had to schedule another appointment for a cleaning. But, I am so glad that I did as I will be able to come back and see their staff again. She took her time with me as opposed to other dentists who just pop in for five minutes at the end of your appointment. Her assistant Gabby, was also really friendly and polite and tried to make the x-rays as easy as possible. Lynn at the front desk went out of her way to get me on the schedule and call my insurance to see what would be covered and when since I am on a recently purchased insurance plan. I had a really questionable dentist back in CA and avoided going to the dentist for a while when I moved out here. I guess you can say Dr. Schtakleff has restored my faith in dentistry :P. She didn't pressure me into fancy dental gadgets/procedures but told me affordable ways to manage my teeth and stop any issues before they get worse. She even did my cleaning herself! Another major plus is that the entire practice was crystal clean! They had not seen the dentist for any work. I went in because my tooth was killing me. I could not tell which tooth was hurting me because I was in so much pain. They did $345 of X-rays and the dentist looked in my mouth, NEVER TOUCHED ANY OF MY TEETH TO FIGURE OUT WHICH TOOTH IT WAS, she looked only at the X-ray and said it's two of my teeth. Sent me to an oral surgeon to have them removed. Well, they were not the teeth hurting me but now I don't have two teeth. She then would not send a referral over for the actual tooth that was killing me. I went to a new dentist and they said yeah that tooth has to be removed that it can't be saved. So now three teeth gone instead of one. I should have had the choice to remove the two teeth that were not hurting me. The oral surgeon is a whole other story. I told him no one had touched my tooth and before I spent $1000 to have them remove is he sure those are the ones hurting me. Well, as we know he made a mistake too. Total failure on them. A dentist and an oral surgeon should actually touch your teeth before removing them and do a cold test or tap test or something. I don't understand how none of this was done. I was in so much pain I was relying on a dentist knowing what they were doing.

Visited Inspire Dental - Apex in August 2025. My family member does not speak English, so we had to…read moreaccompany them for communication. The initial exam was extremely brief, with no clear explanation, no X-rays shown, and no introductions -- we didn't know who was the dentist or assistant. During the deep cleaning, a hygienist/assistant administered anesthesia and did the entire procedure without the dentist present or supervising. The dentist only appeared afterward, did not introduce herself, and gave no post-procedure guidance. I had to ask basic questions about care and eating afterward. Later, we were told additional fillings were required, which were never mentioned during the visit. Billing seemed excessive. When we raised concerns, the dentist adamantly insisted everything was done correctly, dismissed our questions, and offered no apology or acknowledgment. The receptionist was also unprofessional and dismissive when asked about billing. The clinic later refused to continue care rather than address the issues. Overall, this experience demonstrated arrogance, lack of transparency, and disregard for patient communication and rights.
