My first experience with The Liberty Smokehouse was at Golden Isles Brewing in St. Pete. We tried the brisket and burnt ends with baked beans and mac and cheese. My second experience was at Outcast Brewing in St. Pete. This time we tried the beef rib with mac and cheese and potato salad. It's recommended to preorder the beef rib because it is limited. The beef rib meal is not cheap at $72, however, it is something that will blow your mind. It was more than my wife and I could finish, so it's plenty of food. The satisfaction of being served a giant smoked beef rib is hard to beat. After speaking with the owner Chef Bryan Jacobs for a short time during our first experience, I could tell that he was a humble man who accepted praise and criticism with grace. It is apparent that the goal of this business is to please its customers with a quality product. This barbecue is really something special and I highly recommend it. One change I would like to see from the business is to have a calendar posted on instagram, Facebook or both that lists their locations and times for the month.
