Altitude was recommended by my local bike shop. Really easy to work with and did professional work in a short time frame.

They had my e-bike for 2 weeks to replace broken brake handle. I had parts from Jasion. Turns out the rude guy pretended to be tech who worked on bike. Actual Tech was Super polite and friendly when picked up bike. As I was leaving I said "Brad " needs to work on his customer service. HE SAID IM Brad. The rude white guy pretended to b the nice polite Hispanic tech who did the work !! Crazy, his own coworker was driving business away while pretending to be poor guy who did actual work. Sounds like the owner is gonna hear some bitching from real tech about fake guy. Lyin Brian should b fired immediately; that's just not cool to pretend to be a tech and super rude. Tall white haired asshole who looks like he's gonna keel over of heart attack any minute. Update: They charged 75 to replace brake handle that is now loose and needs further repair. Also got a flat mysteriously while in their possession and they charged another 50 to fix that. Pitiful they don't answer phone and no v mail. Not much of a business I chose bc they were close. Also no way they are getting 4.5 reviews gotta have fake reviews.

My bike sat in the garage until I was able to ride again in March. I pulled the bike out and the rear wheel wouldn't spin. I took it to the shop who did the work (C3 outside of Golden)- the tore it apart and found the hub seal had failed (their words). he tried to rebuild it but couldn't, it was totally corroded. He told me they'd send it to Shimano to warranty but that they doubted they would?! He said it would be at least a few weeks, and Shimano would blame the user for not maintaining it properly. I have had great service in the past at Pedal bike shop so took it to them - with the receipt from the purchase in july. They kept the bike and were doing the same thing as C3. They were denied but fought with Shimano on my behalf and they finally agreed to warranty the hub because the seal had indeed failed. They did the work and I got my bike back. A week after getting my bike, I got a call from the mechanic at C3 who told me - as expected - that Shimano denied the warranty claiming it was 'misuse'???! what.. 2 months? I can't ride my bike and get it wet? how did the water get in the hub? from abuse or misuse?? Replace in July and ridden just over 2 months? When I told him that I'd already gotten my bike back and it had been fully warranted by Shimao (because of the diligence of the Pedal staff), he went silent. He just said, "I'm glad you got your bike back". Why would I go anywhere but Pedal? Clearly, they strive to make things right for their customers - they don't just roll over and say they can't do anything. Pedal is the BEST!!! I had always been a Shimano guy - I couldn't be more disappointed in them and will be writing them a letter.

When I have tried to get help, the shop has acted like they're doing me a favor for fixing the problems they caused. The company tried to call me out for writing a bad review on another platform when I had yet another problem with the bike they sold me. They were condescending and told me I was wrong, my charger isn't a charger issue. They have never once offered an apology for any of the incidents they have caused. I purchased two bikes here but I will never visit again, particularly after being treated like dirt by their service lead They need service industry training for sales and support.

My husband's brakes were rubbing and squealing badly, and my bike gears would slip occasionally. We pulled up to Mike's and noticed that they didn't list Trek on the door, so we called and verified that they were no longer a Trek dealer. Because of the ongoing issues that haven't been addressed correctly by other shops, we decided to take the bikes to Trek in Highlands Ranch for their Trek e-bike expertise. (I should add that we have other bikes that aren't Trek, and we will bring those back to Mike's because they've been good to us for over a decade, and they are also very knowledgeable). When we first went into the shop part of the store, we were met by a really nice young guy working the counter. At first we thought he might have been retail, but as soon as he started telling us all about our bikes, educating me about the shocks and even a clutch I didn't know existed, he listened to our concerns and knew exactly what needed to be done. I was blown away. They told us it might take a week or so to get them back, so we were pleased when we got the call this morning to come pick them up after only a couple days. We had taken our bikes to two different shops three different times in Summit County, but the issues were never fully addressed. My husband said he was going to "immediately go on a ten-mile ride in Denver" before we came back up the mountain to ensure that the bikes were fixed, but he had so much confidence in the Trek shop that he decided to forgo a ride and just come back to Silverthorne. He just returned from a ride and said "it feels like a brand new bike!" He asked me if I would write a quick review to compliment the folks at Trek for doing such a GREAT JOB. Thanks so much!
