He confirmed the hot water heater needed to be replaced and the new installation would be brought up to code. Working with this company was a delight from the first exchange of information via Yelp. We were in…read moredesperate need of getting our pressure regulator replaced and we've been wasting water for Lord knows how long due to this issue. And it even busted a pipe that was under our deck that we didn't even know existed. Kurt was at our house within 30 to 45 minutes of contacting him. He brought his son with him to help him on the job, and the two of them are obviously from a very loving family. They worked and communicated very well with each other and completed our job within an hour and a half maybe two hours it was incredibly fast for what they did and what we were expecting, and it was reasonably priced. It was an expensive repair and we knew that it was going to be, however, there was no automatic $90 charge just for an estimate as we were quoted by another company. Kurt not only repaired the busted pipe that was underneath the deck, but he also added insulation, and a drainage valve, and an on off switch! This was above and beyond what we were expecting! When he replaced the pressure regulator, he didn't just replace it, but he showed us how to do it ourselves in the future if we need to. The plumber educating their customers is unheard of most of the time. I'm really quite impressed that he would do that! Additionally, after replacing the pressure regulator current noticed a leak from the blue tank above the water heater and just fixed it. He hadn't quoted us on it or anything like that. It just needed to be done, and he did it! Also typically unheard of! Kurt even stated that this is not typically the kind of jobs that he takes, as he's more of a contractor and a remodeler... but he said he had the time and felt like doing it and so he offered to do it, and in doing so, he got himself some future customers because we are not only in need of general plumbing repair sometimes but we are interested in remodeling quite a few things around our house. Kurt showed us some photos of a recent remodel that he did in a bathroom and what can I say besides, he's hired! The job that he showed us looked beautiful and speaking to him informed us that he believes in doing high-quality work with high-quality materials that is going to last a long time which is exactly what we are looking for. We spoke with him briefly about remodeling our deck, and he informed us that if we wanted to do such a thing and it were required, he would have his brother come visit and do the job for us while he's here, because that's the kind of work his brother does! Kurt is so above and beyond that he's in a hot air balloon! And my husband and I really appreciate it. The company that installed the water heater we currently have never even replied to my phone calls for service on this job. And I don't think I've been happier about not receiving a callback from an original installer!
