This woman should have been fired a long time ago for her horrible way she interacts with customers. When my friend bought the pipe, I told him I liked it, but I wouldn't spend that much on it. If I'd had as much disposable income or savings as he did, I probably would've gotten it, but I was hustlin' at the time and didn't really spend my money on art back then. What I did notice was a very Heady vibe... everyone there treated customers with respect, but didn't take any shit. If you come in talking about what Deals you can get Elsewhere, then they make it clear to you that you're not their target clientele. They don't need every hotheaded stoner coming in, talking shit, and trying to haggle over the price of Art that the proprietors themselves probably had a hand in creating or cultivating. If that's you, don't go to this shop, they don't want your vibes dirtying up their clean environment. It's run more like a family than a business. The owner explained it is because they sell liquor and have gaming machines. I completely understand it is illegal to sell liquor, offer gaming machines and allow people to smoke in IL. Also, I am not telling anyone how to run their business, however a cigar shop that does not allow you to smoke a cigar in their store is not for me. It's a fine shop if you want to pick up a pack of cigarettes or cigar in a pinch. I personally would not pay the premium on cigars if they are not offering me a lounge to smoke in their store.
