The only thing I did not like was the number of people they allowed - seemed like there wasn't a limit and it got really crowded. Customers were moving tables and chairs so made me uncomfortable. Came here for my friends birthday we had a group of 6 of us. We ordered two lemon mint hookahs, one of them worked fine the other one was not hitting at all. This place is awesome. Went in with group of 10 late night on Saturday. They usually close at 2 am but they accommodate us till 3am. I have been here before a long time ago but it wasn't that great but this time is was marvelous. I believe it's under a new management now, which is great The service was pretty good too, the hookahs were great and the atmosphere is amazing. They have really nice couches and 3 big Tvs where we were sitting We ordered 5 mango juices and 5 teas which they gave us on the house. One thing I can say on the cons side is that the coal took a long time to be changed but considering they let us stay an extra hour and didn't charge us for the drinks, made it a very pleasant experience. Stumbled upon this hookah lounge accidentally. It's hidden in the corner of a business complex. The hookah is great here compared to other lounges I've been to nearby. The lounge is a good size, nice decor, and has a classic hookah lounge/Chicago theme. The service is really good here! The bowls were packed perfect, coconut coals, and the hookahs hit smooth for over an hour. Server "Errol" provided great service with coals and making sure the smoking experience was great. Absolutely Terrible service. Came in with a group of 6 ordered 2 hookahs. one of them hit alright no complaints. The other was not even blowing any smoke. We asked the server to change the head for us and he said okay one minute and never came back to our table. We asked another worker and the same exact thing happened after waiting a whole hour. At this point we didn't really care as long as we didn't get charged for it. when checking out we were speaking to the owner of the place and they said we still have to pay for it but will throw a small discount. We were not okay with this we just didn't want to pay at all for the hookah because it was not hitting but the owner didn't care. Very underwhelmed. Came with a large group late on a Saturday night. We ordered 5 hookahs. Packing was mediocre. My friends have blended the same flavors we asked for much better at their homes. Coals were changed much after they expired. Other hookah bars have had servers show up much quicker and replace coals in a very timely manner. After a night at the comedy club our party of nine decided to chill at Xhale to socialize while a majority did hookah. Our friend called in advance and discovered you could BYOB and had been before. You walk past the cigar shop into a very relaxing atmosphere of couches and lit sign stating "In hookah we trust". I don't do hookah so I sat back and enjoyed some wine while my three other table mates partook of the fruity pebbles blend and the other table enjoyed theirs. The waitstaff was good at changing it out and making sure everyone was good. The back was a little dingy where the restrooms were but they had a few board games you could borrow while you take your time finishing your hookah. I would say 2.5 stars is an accurate assessment though when it comes to actual rating because they do not inform you in advance of the up-charge for bringing in your own booze. My husband went to pay for the four of us up front and the hookah was decently priced around 16-17$ and they charged $5 per person that drank alcohol. I think everyone in the party would have been okay with this if we had known it in advance, however nothing was in writing online or at the shop that would inform us that this is an actual policy so it seemed very sketchy. They ended up charging the other table and changed the charge after they left!!!! Extremely shady so make sure you save your receipts!!! read more

Surprised how crowded it was. With two empty areas in front, we figured we'll be good, but the owner "J." (forgot his name) said we would have to buy 1 hookah per person to sit there, reserved for 6...OK... So we went to a bar nearby to wait for a spot to open up. When I asked about the list of 20 flavors or so, all with random exotic and names like "silly sassafras", J couldn't tell me what the actual flavors were, just vaguely describe how they felt...OK.. I told him to mix Blue Berry + Orange. My buddies got Blue Berry + Mint. Mine came and was barely getting smoke, but figured it's newly packed. 30min later I try my buddies and it's loaded! I started coughing from how it actually worked compared to mine. An assistant came out, semi-rude and she, ONLY she, was allowed to touch the coal with tongs, and mess with the hose which kept falling out. This woman took the bowl off the top (that contained the tobacco), put her lips on the downspout and blew ashes out of the foiled top! Then replaced the coal. ???? She did this for everyone. That didn't help. After another 15min of continuing our good conversation and trying to smoke, we left. I will leave its name out from this review as it may offend some readers. -The coal was changed at least 5 times during our two hour visit without us asking -It never got harsh. I cannot figure out how they managed this! No one ever has! -The smoke came out thick -They did this all using a hookah that was about 2 feet tall! What else made this hookah lounge fabulous? -The service was magnificent! The owners and staff were very attentive and friendly. They also took the time to make recommendations for drink as well as hookah. -The environment was comfortable. Couches and tables and chairs were both available. It was not cold as many hookah lounges are. The lighting was nice and dim. - I love tea and the pomegranate Turkish tea is magnificent. One of the BEST I have had. It is a MUST ORDER item. They also had soda in glass bottles which is my favorite way to drink soda! -Many lounges do not serve food and it is always a disappointment to me. "Everything is awesomee"- The minions. This place is located in a little strip mall with a fox and hound and a subway. They do not serve food, but you're allowed to bring in something. SO, we bought in our subs and were seated immediately. My friend did order a mint pomagranate turkish tea- GET IT ( or make someone else get it and try a sip). It is amazing ( and i'm not a tea drinker). Ambiance: mostly played pop and hip hop. They had ample seating with multiple televisions with the NBA playoffs on for that day ( and hockey on other tvs). One side of the joint has couches and the other has small coffee tables. There was enough light , but as more people kept coming in, the light was dimmed a bit throughout the evening ( but not to blinding levels) **( Most important part of the review) ** Hookah: Ive never seen a hookah place serve mya qt hookahs to their customers before. Its usually those ginormous 22 inch ones that need to sit on the floor. When i saw the mya one, i freaked out a bit, not gonna lie. But the gentleman who helped us initially ( i think he's the owner as well) was extremely helpful in helping us choose our flavors and helped me generate some faith about the quality of his product. We got the dirty bitch- it was fruity and minty-- HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! It was so well made, omg. The service was impeccable. Our server kept coming to change our coal every 20 minutes at least. She NEVER let it get harsh. I was in awe as to how great the service was, i never had to ask for a coal change. Also, everyone was SO NICE. Every server was outgoing and smiley. First impressions - a low key hookah place filled with a ton of teens. We were greeted by a nice girl who did not let us get the larger seating area since we didn't have all of our friends there yet. I was bothered by this because we were first seated in a weird sitting area and then we had to get up and move again. We were obviously not ganna just lie and asks to a large area for only a few people. I did not see the necessity of us having to move around, especially since the place wasn't busy either, and both of the large area were empty. The hookah was fine, I'm not an expert by any means but 1 got harsh fast, others were fine. They had a couple of choices for teas, which my friends like a lot.They also have a pool table and a foosball table, which are nice additions. We played a couple of games of foosball and the guys actually got really into it. The owner was on hand and was very friendly, he even played a game of foosball with us. He allowed us to order in a pizza and provided us with napkins, which is usually the standard for hookah places, and it was nice that this place didn't differ. The seating area was good for communication, but the couches felt a bit broken in. On some you sunk in, on other slowly slide down to the front of the couch, on others it was perfectly firm and fine. We just pretty much had musical chairs going on most of the evening anyways. With 8 people in our group, the night ended up being 11 dollars a person.. Not bad. The girl from the beginning did it and said your good to go. We grabbed our stuff and started heading for the door. She then started insulting us and complaining about us to other customers she was checking out. That we complained we had to wait over 30 mins and if she wants to take all night she can and she hates her job. She can't stand people like us. We weren't complaining. I've been coming here for years. They use Mya QT hookahs and those are my favorite hookahs (they hit so well). The people working there are friendly and give good suggestions for hookah flavors. Wish they still had the princess delight flavor, I liked it a lot. A few years ago my friend and I had a strawberry shortcake flavor at a hookah place in the city that shut down. The hookah maker actually took the time to try to recreate that flavor. It didn't work out, but we appreciated the time and effort she put in. The #1 thing I like most about this place is that they switch coals every 10 minutes. They take the head off and blow into it as well. Every hit you take is nice and the hookah lasts very long. They had pretty bad employees until recently. This one guy that works there makes bomb hookahs. Make sure you guys always have him make your hookahs, he has a beard and wears glasses.
