They communicate well and will work with you on whatever you need. 180 has fabulous trainers who really get to know the class participants. They figure out what YOU need from them whether it is encouragement, pressure to push yourself harder or just simple instruction. They keep the workouts fresh and new so you don't ever get bored. The exercises are varied and include kettlebells, ropes, TRX, and a large variety of other tasks. The best part is the sense of community at the gym. The other participants as well as the trainers support each other and offer the best reinforcement you can get. If you miss a class, they welcome you back and you truly feel accepted. 180 Kettlebells is the only gym I have been able to stick with. I attend 3-4 times a week and truly miss it if I don't. I highly recommend giving it a try. Don't give up the first week because I can guarantee you will be sore! (in a good way)

C4 has month to month unlimited packages and 5 or 10 class packages. The price is SO reasonable, and you can try the gym for free for a week. The community is welcoming from the very first day, and Mollie is available to answer all of your questions. I ended up going to the gym 3-4 times a week and tried classes ranging from boot camp to yoga. Prior to C4, I had stopped lifting and was out of shape, but the C4 instructors are ready to help all skill ranges and ages. I consistently had my form corrected and was encouraged to push myself throughout each class. I would stay with C4 forever if I wasn't moving! If you want a variety of fun workouts mixing cardio and strength training, a supportive community, and excellent trainers, you need to try C4. On one side there is a 24/7- access area with a nice variety of cardio and strength equipment. The other side is where classes take place. I have been attending classes for the past month and have never had more fun than I am here. I've tried many kickboxing, boxing, HIIT, lifestyle gyms in Metro area and none compare to GIDF. The staff are some of the friendliest people I've ever met. They have genuine interest in getting to know all customers. They're well educated in training techniques and exercises; if modifications to skills are needed, they always accommodate. The workouts are great, and modifiable since we are more than a bit out of shape. There is a lot of variety to the workouts and exercises that keep things challenging and interesting. We were a little nervous after hearing mixed reviews for the last few years about Crossfit -- some people think it's dangerous and others think it's the best thing ever! I can see how, based on what gym you go to, your idea may lean closer to one versus the other. Mi5 started us off with a 1 week free trial where we sampled several different classes! Endurance, Barbell Club, FIT, and Strength and Sweat! All of them with a very different purpose & stimulus. As an individual who needs to modify quite a few movements, I have ALWAYS felt like I had a place at Mi5 and never was looked at differently because I changed a movement or needed to do something a bit differently or with a lighter weight. Additionally, the coaches are PHENOMINAL! They help you to come up with modifications for a workout if you are injured, have not progressed to that movement yet, or just don't feel comfortable doing it! Even when I'm attending for Open Gym, if there's a coach around & I have a question about a movement, they are always willing to take the time to have a conversation about that specific movement, general gym goals, or just to hang out and chat! We're extremely glad we joined and are very grateful for this community!

The concept is simple: Train using small movements against resistance. Sessions are 20 minutes; you'll spend two minutes per machine and your coach will lead you through the different stations, typically six or seven per session. A record is kept so each session will be different. In less than two months my strength is significantly improved. I'm 70 and this is important for my health. This place is welcoming, fun, and professional. I highly recommend it and they have multiple locations.
