I actually was "forwarded" to a different agent, but I thought it was silly to drive by one I could walk to. I had actually checked this agency out years ago when I was dis-satisfied with an agent, but never actually "pulled the trigger" to make the change. I was impressed both times with the office and staff, and this time requested the change. I actually worked with an agent named Sunday rather than Tom Calvin, but that is typical--most insurance work gets done by staff rather than the agency namesake.

He never told me that I needed to sign a form stating I had cancelled. I believe that Tom did this on purpose so I would continue to pay for this policy. After I was told to show envidence That I had purchased another policy, I sent them info that showed that I had purchased insurance from another company. Safco continued to send me bills stating that they would contact a credit agency and report me. Tom at the insurance house stated he did'nt know how to solve the problem. I called Safco and they finally cancelled my policy. The owner of the Insurance house, Carolann was not helpful at all.
