The staff at Pinnacle Heating and Cooling were incredible. Matt, Jessica, and Randy were so helpful…read morein installing a propane conversion kit into my fireplace. Even though the manufacturer kept sending them the wrong part (not their fault), they persisted in communicating with the manufacturer and sending back the wrong part over and over again until they received the right one and installed it. And this was for a fireplace that I didn't even buy from Pinnacle--so this project was not a money-maker for them at all. But they were so gracious in agreeing to work on it, and in helping me with getting this fireplace to be functional! In the end, it works perfectly--because of them!! Very reasonable pricing too. This is an integrous, excellent company; I recommend them 150%!!

I do not take these reviews lightly. I get no pleasure out of writing negative comments about…read moreanyone or any business. However, in this case I felt it necessary to share my experiences. Maybe this review will save someone from having to deal with the dishonesty and deceitfulness I have experienced from Pinnacle. In February 2022 my furnace went out. I called Pinnacle because I have known one of their employees on a personal level for nearly 20 years. The owner of Pinnacle came out right away and gave me a quote to replace both the furnace and AC unit. I was very impressed with how quickly they came out and were willing to get us a working furnace. I signed the contract for the new heat pump with a ten year parts and labor warranty, nearly $10,000. The Pinnacle techs came the next day, performed the install and we had heat again. So far, so good...right? Fast forward six months. We receive a letter in the mail from Pinnacle. The letter is contract for bi-annual maintenance services, nearly $300 a year. The letter states that the maintenance contract is required for the warranty to be valid. Nowhere in the original contract that I signed did it state that there was a required maintenance contract for the ten year life of the warranty. This adds approximately $3000 to the cost of ownership of the furnace. Pinnacle tells me that I do not need to purchase the maintenance contract, but in the next sentence tells me that the warranty that I paid for will be void. Pinnacle has put us in a no win situation. We were sold something, six months later we find out that what we purchased will cost us more money every year. Do I swallow my pride and write them a check for $300 every year, or stand my ground and not give them another penny? In the end, they win either way. To make matters worse, Pinnacle knows exactly the situation they are putting their customers in. Hopefully this helps other potential Pinnacle customers avoid the deceitful business practices. In good faith I could not and would not recommend anyone using Pinnacle for their heating and cooling needs.

I usually don't review companies but I wanted to warn everyone not to do business with this…read morecompany. My furnace went out so a called around to see how could come out first and Farrell's responded first so I thought I would give them a try. Minimum fee for the Service Call was $99. No problem. I was not home at the time but my wife was. Service tech came and quickly determined the problem a blower fan had gone out, a problem that I was aware. I had been researching the replacement part and had to options. one was to simply replace the motor for $100 or the entire housing and motor assembly for $205 locally. To simply replace the motor, it required unplugging a electrical quick connect and 4 screws and replace the motor or 6 screw to replace the entire assembly. I just hadn't gotten around to ordering or getting the part myself. The tech showed my wife the part, told her he had the entire housing part locally, and would get it and be back. He then told her it would cost $788. After he let to get the part my wife call me and I came home. shortly after I got home, he returned with the part and I began to quiz him where he got it knowing full well where he got it and it's cost. I stayed in the basement while he replace the part and started the furnace which worked fine. All this took 15 minutes at the longest. He had me verify the furnace was working and went to his truck to write up the bill. Once he returned, he went directly upstair to where my wife was and presented her with the bill. I was still in the basement waiting. I went upstairs and asked to see the bill. The total bill was over $800 but what the worst part was the cost of the $205 part. It had been marked up to $788 for the $205 part. I confronted him about the outrageous markup and he told me that was set by the owner and he had no say in the matter. People, this is plain and simple price gouging! They totally take advantage of a customer. I am a local realtor in town and I can assure you I will tell everyone my experience with Farrell's and high suggest you don't do business if that how they treat there customer. Shame on Keith....
