We have used this company for all our heating, cooling, plumbing and electrical work in our home in Gladwin. This includes new furnace, central air conditioning, new toilet, outdoor faucet replacement and new electrical wiring for smoke alarms. Most of these services were emergencies. They are very responsive and quick during emergencies. They find the parts or equipment required and send excellent contractors out immediately. Alward is my go to firm for electrical, plumbing, and HVAC. They are very responsive in an emergency, and I find they give you the strait scoop and will fully explain your options. I just got off the phone with a guy named Greg who claimed to be the owner of the company. I assume he owns it because he referred to it as "my company." To make a long story short, he was literally screaming at me. I simply called to see when they were coming out to hook up my hot tub, like we had agreed upon. The lady who answers the phone informed me that they would not be coming out to hook up my hot tub, and that I should find someone else to do it. After they had already came out and gave me an estimate. In my opinion, this business is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. There is no reason to be yelling at customers when they are calling to see when the electricians will be coming out. I had to call them in order to even find out that they had no intention of coming to my house to do the work we had agreed upon. I would highly recommend avoiding this electric company due to their terrible customer service, and, in my experience, the fact that they refused to even come out and do the job. read more
