My Dad had a medical emergency and required hospitalization which now meant my Mom needed assistance. Most importantly immediate overnight care. I was in a complete panic as to what to do. I was referred to Nursing on Demand. I cannot begin to say how grateful and thankful I am. I spoke with Brenda right away and she was able to get someone immediately!! I was so relieved. Angela has been a god sent. Thankfully my Dad is finally coming home. I hope I never am in a situation like this again, but with elderly parents with medical issues it is inevitable. The service received for skilled home health for my Mom over a 2 & 1/2 month period was not up to…read moreour standards. There was much lack of communication with me by both the individual nurse and the office. The company they hired to take blood work and urine was a disaster - it took two weeks for the blood work to be received by my Mom's doctor and the company didn't even bother picking up the urine sample the day of, so it was ruined and had to be done again after hounding them to actually pick it up the next day. They reduced the number of days of care without informing me, they kept saying they would change course of treatment and/or bring in a specialist, but it never happened, and she ended up in the hospital again. Did not seem like anyone really cared.
