If I could give Alyce 1000 stars, it wouldn't be enough. Just having moved to Texas from California (sorry haha) and needing a business lawyer to help convert our corporation to a TX entity, I searched Yelp and found a lawyer who turned out to be terrible and a waste of over $1000.00 in fees. We have never needed a lawyer before so with no experience using one I just thought they were all expensive and unresponsive. Our business conversion got no where with him. A friend I met in Austin gave me Alyce's name and told me to call her. In a matter of 48 hours she had a plan for our (complicated) conversion. The previous lawyer wasn't even aware of the fact that we could not legally convert a CA corporation to a TX LLC and he wasted our time and money leading us to believe he would be able to get it done. Alyce came up with a creative plan and got the whole thing done in a month. We were able to keep our original EIN and our S Corp status which saved me a lot of work on my end not having to close accounts and start fresh. I cannot express enough gratitude for this amazing, intelligent, professional woman! She is current and informed and connected in the Texas business scene. She even understood what our business does without us having to explain in detail as we usually do (we produce gaming videos for YouTube). She also helped me set up an LLC for my new business and did operating agreements for both of our businesses at an affordable rate. I will be recommending her to all our friends.
