She spent a lot of time before the wedding talking to us about what photos were most important to capture, and laying out a timeline of events in the wedding to be sure things went smoothly and no important moments were missed. She also took the location of the wedding and options of where best to shoot the photos into account, and maximized our time by knowing the area and having some ideas in mind before arrival. Our wedding package also included a second photographer who was absolutely amazing as well, which helped to capture multiple angles of the ceremony, and guest reactions as well as our vows. She made some gorgeous custom cards with information for our guests to view our photos and schedules for the guests to keep. You can tell how much love and passion goes into her work in how much she does that is above and beyond for her clients. She even communicated with our event coordinator and the venue owner to arrange time at the venue to do posed photos before the ceremony. She also has excellent artistic vision in shoots, coming up with poses and how to utilize the space, dress, props etc, and her ability to direct even the most shy/awkward subjects always impresses me. She was a joy to work with, before, during, and after both photoshoots. From my personal experience, for the work and time she puts in, and the number of quality photos she produces her rates are more than fair. I brought in two large number balloons from two separate packages to have them filled with helium…read more While filling the first one, the employee told me it might be defective because there seemed to be a small leak, although she couldn't find where it was coming from. She made it sound like it should still hold up until the party later that day, so I left with it. Unfortunately, within just a few hours it was noticeably deflated and looked ridiculous--and the second balloon did the exact same thing. Since these were two completely separate balloons from separate packages, it seems pretty unlikely that both just happened to be defective. I spent about $25 just to have the two balloons filled with helium, only for both to lose their helium before the party. The huge, partially deflated numbers looked miserable in the party decorations, and it was especially disappointing for the birthday child. What bothered me most was that I wasn't offered any solution before leaving, even though it was already known that at least one of the balloons was leaking. I spent more than $45 in the store altogether that day and essentially wasted the money I paid for the helium. Very disappointing experience. Wish I had taken a photo of the miserable balloons but they went straight in the trash following the party ending. What a waste. I'll try Michael's next time for helium, probably cheaper there too. I also noticed how the employee helping me isn't very friendly. I've been in here a few times before over the years and never felt like this. I don't know if this woman is new, but she doesn't represent the company well for customer service.
