I have been a regular here since I moved to the area 4 years ago and I highly recommend it. I tried 3 different cleaners in the area prior to visiting AMA and either the clothes weren't cleaned well or I had some type of inconvenience. So it was refreshing to find a place that offers quality. I frequently bring my work shirts for laundry services which they do a great job at washing and ironing. And the best part, only $1 per shirt! I also bring my business suits and ties which they dry clean with excellency and happen to be decently priced. Don't forget to check your pockets I forgot and left my cashmere gloves in the coat pocket instead of returning them to me they were stolen. I asked the girl why would they just not give them back to the customer without cleaning since it was only the coat that was paid to be dry cleaned. Her response was we just throw them out that's our policy. I'm pretty sure they did not throw out a new pair of cashmere gloves but stole them instead. How hard is it to just attach them to the coat and give them back? That's called customer service. Several other items I've taken there just weren't cleaned properly still had stains etc that should not have been still there. I has brought in a sweatshirt to this establishment wanting inside pockets and a new zipper. I had explained to them I wanted to keep the design on the old zipper and if possible, change only the track part. They understood and told me come back in a couple of days. When I returned with my receipt, I got my sweater and I handed them my debit card. At the same time, I was checking my sweater and they sewed up the inside pockets completely and put in a new zipper, leaving the old one in place. It looked ridiculous. I told them that is not what I wanted. I wanted my money back and they told me they don't know how to put the credit back on my card. They explained to me to give them a chance to fix it, which I agreed. I went back the next week and they fixed the pockets but did nothing to the zipper. The manager told me it looks better with the two zippers in the front. Are you kidding me? It looks stupid I replied. If you think this looks good then you shouldn't be in business. I explained what I wanted and he told me it may not work. I told him if you think its not going to work, then don't do anything to it, leave it be and I will take it somewhere else. He said he would try. When I came back a few days later, he went ahead and changed the entire zipper which threw off the look of the sweatshirt completely! Once again this isn't what I wanted. I told him I wanted my money back and he replies no refunds. I understand that but you went ahead and did something I specifically did not want done (while I was there, there was another customer picking up his shirts and he was complaining the shirts are still dirty after they were "cleaned"). He refused to give me my money back for the zipper. I even tried to tell him I'll take half back because there is a new zipper on it and he still refused. I stormed out with the now ugly looking sweatshirt with the removed old zipper. Don't even bother going here. This place is a joke. They don't listen to what you want they go ahead to work on your items without consulting the customer first. Bad business. This place doesn't even deserve one star. read more
